Dear Friends of the Stamford All-School Musical,
Thank you for joining us for the Stamford All-School Musical production of "Legally Blonde The Musical". Attending the Stamford All-School Musical has been a tradition for my husband John and me since we arrived in Stamford more than 10 years ago. I am always awestruck by the professional quality production staged by our local students with support from a dedicated team of theater professionals and volunteers.
The performing arts are a crucial part of the Stamford Public Schools experience. Theater programs like the Stamford All-School Musical help students develop creative, social emotional and interpersonal skills while building memories that will last a lifetime. I would like to acknowledge and extend a special congratulations to the 57 Stamford Public Schools students who are participating as cast or crew in this year's production.
I would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Stamford All-School Musical co-producers Nancy Freedman and Amy Guttman. The Stamford All-School Musical is a labor of love and we should all be grateful to Nancy, Amy and their entire production team for bringing this incredible performing arts opportunity to Stamford students each year.
Thank you for attending this year's show. Community support has helped keep the Stamford All-School Musical going strong for 16 years. Thank you for supporting the performing arts and for giving our students an opportunity to shine.
Enjoy the show!

Welcome to the Stamford All-School Musical’s production of Legally Blonde the Musical! Time flies when you’re having fun! It’s hard to believe this is my 12th year with this incredible program. I work in many school districts in both Connecticut and New York, but what sets the Stamford All-School Musical apart from any other program is that I really get to watch a majority of our students grow up. How fun it has been for all of us who work on the production team to see those who were munchkins in our 2017 production of the Wizard of Oz, Oompa Loompas from our 2018 production of Willy Wonka, and all the young students who were in our 2019 production of Matilda now appear as believable and crazy Delta Nu sorority sisters, Harvard law students and the adults in Legally Blonde. We are additionally excited to welcome all of our new talent who have joined the All-School family this year as part of the cast and crew which makes us all so excited for the future of this program! The show hasn’t even opened yet at the time of writing this and we are already getting bombarded with questions and suggestions about next year’s show! I love that! And this year, ASM alum Andrew Patashnik, a senior at Syracuse University pursing his BFA in Theater Design and Technology, returned as our lighting designer to give back to a program that meant so much to him when he was a Stamford student. Andrew joins fellow ASM alum Daniel Bria who has been our production manager for the past two years and sound designer/engineer for so many years I’ve lost count!
I could not be more proud of the hard work that everyone has put into this production – from the many hours of rehearsals to learn the challenging choreography (and jump roping!) and difficult vocals, to the especially difficult work our student crew had to work with this massive set and prop-heavy show that has so many costume changes for the whole cast! I would like to thank my entire production team they are so passionate about every single detail that this show would not be possible without them. Please read the production team credits and see just how many people are involved to bring Legally Blonde to the Stamford stage.
With love and appreciation,
Linda
