Special Thanks
In the realm of school theater production, collaboration is paramount. “It takes a village.” I extend my sincere appreciation to all esteemed colleagues and allies who have contributed to this endeavor. Despite the tight timeline following our previous Thespian production in November, spanning just two and a half months, the collective effort has been commendable. Balancing numerous student commitments, including sports, private lessons, and tutoring, presented its own set of challenges.
To Mr. Rafa, our vocal coach, your expertise, guidance, and unwavering passion for music have been instrumental in nurturing the talent of our students. Your dedication to their vocal development has been invaluable. Your effort does not go unnoticed. I can't imagine doing this without you. The fact that our students love you makes all the difference. Thank you for that.
To Henry, our technical director and sound engineer, your contributions are truly appreciated. To José Víctor, whose lighting brought vibrancy to the stage, thank you! To Félix, our house manager, your warm hospitality has enhanced the theater experience for us all.
To Sara, Melissa, Mariela, Deborah, and James, your steadfast support in various capacities throughout this journey has been indispensable. To Nilda Rivera, Michelle Yegros, Vero Adames, Joeann González, Mónica Kuilan, Michelle Rodríguez, Annie Galatzán, Xavier, Javi, and Carlos: your invaluable assistance across various facets of the production process has been integral to our journey. THANK YOU! To TASIS mom Mary Negrón, whose disposition to help and decorate has been amazing, thank you so much! Please visit her photobooth station outside and take tons of pics!
To our dedicated production team, tech crew, stagehands, and backstage crew, your tireless efforts behind the scenes have formed the foundation of our productions. Although the audience doesn't see your work, the show would not be possible without you all. You have been assuming great responsibilities and we thank you for that!
To our esteemed performers, thank you for infusing the stage with energy, enthusiasm, and versatility. Amidst recent changes, your adaptability and commitment have been truly commendable. We believe in you. Keep doing this for as long as you can, and believe in yourselves. It has been an immense privilege for me to watch you all grow on and offstage. I want to acknowledge the professional efforts of our choreographer: senior student Valeria Castellano, for the past few years. She has been an amazing mentor, leader and creative artist. Also, senior student Mia Jiménez, who has been our stage manager for the second time with this production, has done an outstanding job that is highly stressful and chaotic. Thanks both for raising the bar for the next generations. I truly admire you both.
Last but not least, to our esteemed audience, your presence and support tonight are deeply appreciated. Without you here, tonight would simply be a rehearsal. Thank you.
Until next year!
Ms. Lula
