Meet the Company
Scot Friedman
Scot Friedman is a stage, screen, and voice-over actor based in Austin, Texas. Scot last appeared on stage in Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde, A Tuna Christmas, The Seafarer, and Laughter on the 23rd Floor (City Theatre), and Junk (Street Corner Arts). Other productions include When the Rain Stops Falling (four nominations for Central Texas Excellence in Theatre Awards, incl. Best Actor in a Play, and six B. Iden Payne nominations), A Man for All Seasons, Farragut North, The Odd Couple (Broadway World nomination for Best Leading Actor in a Comedy), Om Shanti: Once Upon A Time in Bollywood, Next Fall, Our Town, Moon Over Buffalo (B. Iden Payne nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy), Inherit The Wind, Burn This, The Imaginary Invalid, and How the Other Half Loves. His film roles include Last Girl Standing and The Bystander Theory, and his voice may be heard in the anime series, "Moeyo Ken (Burning Sword) and New Fist of the North Star." Sean Ryan Moran
Sean Ryan Moran is a Brownsville native, now living in Austin. He has performed at the Camille Playhouse as Phil Davis in WHITE CHRISTMAS, Paulo in THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY, Mysterious Man in INTO THE WOODS, Seyton & the Old Man in MACBETH, Juan Perón in EVITA, Renfield in DRACULA, Drake & Oliver Warbucks in ANNIE, Richie Walters in A CHORUS LINE, Kenickie Murdoch in GREASE, Willie Lopez in GHOST THE MUSICAL, Jojo/Nunzio/Mr.Jacobi in DISNEY’S NEWSIES, Riff in WEST SIDE STORY, Goober in CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF, and Cogsworth in DISNEY’S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. At the Georgetown Palace Theatre, he was Pepper in MAMMA MIA.
Jamie Rogers
Jamie Rogers holds an MFA in Acting from the Actors Studio Drama School and an MFA in Arts Administration from Texas Tech University. He has worked as an actor and teacher in New York City, Los Angeles, and in various cities across the country. Recent Directing credits include The Laramie Project, Pippin, and The Stronger. Favorite acting performances include Krogstad in A Doll’s House (Different Stages) Louis in Angels in America (NoHo Arts Center), Vince in Tape (Westbeth Theatre, NYC), Reverend Shaw in Footloose (Theatre West Virginia), Mr. Banks in Mary Poppins (Lubbock Moonlight Musicals), Trigorin in The Seagull, Mark in Rent, and Uncle Peck in How I Learned to Drive (TTU School of Theatre and Dance). Currently, Jamie is an Instructional Associate/Adjunct Assistant Professor of Drama at Austin Community College and a Teaching Artist at the Georgetown Palace Theatre.
Marcus McQuirter
Marcus McQuirter is a faculty member and Chair of the Drama Department at ACC where he teaches Voice, Acting, and Introduction to Theater. He would like to thank the cast & production team.
Adam Sornat
Adam Sornat is a current student at UT Austin, pursuing a Fine Arts degree in Stage Management. Adam has most notably worked on Much Ado About Nothing (ACC), Bittersuite (Ground Floor Theater), The Tempest (The Curtain Theater), and Much Ado About Nothing (The Curtain Theatre). Adam expresses his thanks and gratitude to the ACC Drama department’s existence.
Matthew Villareal
Matthew Villarreal is very excited to be working his first show again post a year without theatre. He is a current student and has worked Stage Management with a number of companies in the Austin area. Past credits include: Nevermore, Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical (Doctuh Mistuh Productions), In The Heights (ZACH), Spamalot, Steadfast Tin Soldier, Guys & Dolls (Summer Stock Austin), A Tuna Christmas, August: Osage County, Crimes of the Heart (The City Theatre Company), and Harry and the Thief, Sight Unseen, The Threepenny Opera, All My Sons (ACC Drama).
Madysen Criss
Madysen Criss is a graduate of ACC currently studying Theater at the University of Texas at Austin. She would like to thank her family for being so supportive and the ACC Drama Department for the opportunity to join the production team on Lonely Planet.
Tomas Salas
Tomas Salas has more than thirty years working as a professional theatre technician. He is a master scenic carpenter and lighting tech. His experience includes working in California as the technical director for Luis Valdez’ El Teatro Campesino in San Juan Bautista, Master Electrician for the Mark Taper Forum and Japan America Theatre in Los Angeles. In Austin, Tomas has worked as a freelance tech with just about every local theatre and dance company and in most performance spaces including the Paramount Theatre, State Theatre, ESB Mexican American Cultural Center, Carver Cultural Center, Zach Scott, Planet/Vortex, and others. He is very happy to be a part of the ACC Drama Dept. Team.
Joe Kelley
Joe Kelley is an Austin resident with a passion for collaboration and storytelling. Whether it’s the set, props, lights, paints or puppets he’s so excited to work with Tomas and the entire production team to bring life and love to every show. Joe has been active in the Austin theatre community on and off of the stage in many different productions with many wonderful groups such as: The Archive Theatre, Pollyanna Theatre Co., Summer Stock Austin, Spectrum Theatre, Expatriate Theatre, and his home: ACC Drama. Extra special thanks to Tomas and Channing for their peer review and collaboration. You guys rock.
Desireé Humphries
Desireé Humphries is an Austin native costume designer who’s recent credits include Annie Jump and The Library of Heaven (The Vortex) and RapUnzle (Scottish Rite Theatre) She is a former ACC student who holds a BFA in Theatre Design and Technology from Texas State University and works at the University of Texas at Austin as the costume stock supervisor and costume production manager. She is excited to be part of the return of live theatre and would like to thank ACC for inviting her to create!

Rachel Atkinson's lighting design credits include, at ACC: The Sightless, Harry and the Thief, Much Ado About Nothing, From This Day Forward, Eurydice, Tape, References to Salvador Dali Make Me Hot, Water By the Spoonful, All My Sons, Gloria, Farragut North Austin: The Ballad of Klook and Vinette, Notes From the Field, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill, and Heisenberg (Zach Theatre), TWENTYEIGHT, Salomé (GALE Theatre), Divine Narcissus, Catalina de Erauso (Paper Chairs), The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, Middletown (Mary Moody Northen Theatre), con flama (Salvage Vanguard Theatre), The Secretary and Dance Nation (Theatre En Bloc). Rachel received an Austin Critics Table Award for the 2017-2018 season and a B. Iden Payne award for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime.
Kiersta Hoover
Kiersta Hoover is currently pursuing an AAS in Technical Theater at ACC, as well as an alternative teaching certification in EC-12 Theater. Kiersta has previously volunteered with the ZACH Theater and Sam Bass Community Theatre (Round Rock). This is Kiersta’s first production with ACC, and she’s very thankful to the ACC Drama Department for the opportunity to broaden her skills.
K. Eliot Haynes
K. Eliot Haynes is an award winning designer based in Austin,TX. He is happy to be returning to ACC after working on The Sightless last semester. Recent designs include: The Call of The Wild and Gretel! The Musical (Theatre Heroes); Marisol, Rhinoceros, Anon(ymous),The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime and Maypearl (St. Edward’s University); The Orchid Flotilla, Once There Were Six Seasons and The Cucuey Project (Glass Half Full Theatre); Frankenstein, Riddley Walker, The Crapstall Street Boys, and The Jungle (Trouble Puppet Theater); This Wonderful Life, The Santaland Diaries and Red Hot Patriot (ZACH Theatre). Eliot is also the Assistant Technical Director of The Mary Moody Northen Theater at St. Edward’s University. Eliot very much enjoys working with the immensely talented staff and faculty at ACC.
Adam Sultan
Adam Sultan has performed as an actor, composer, and/or musician with Andrea Ariel Dance Theater, Salvage Vanguard Theater, Shrewd Productions, Glass Half Full Theater, and Physical Plant Theater. He has worked extensively with film composer Graham Reynolds, and his guitar is featured in several Richard Linklater films, including Last Flag Flying, Where’d You Go Bernadette, and Before Midnight. He was the guitarist for the Austin Playhouse production The Battlefields of Clara Barton, and Gretel! The Musical, which premiered at Austin’s Paramount Theater.
Christyna Reeves
Christyna Reeves is a current student at ACC, earning her Associates degree in costume and makeup design. Her passion for Sfx makeup sparked in high school while being part of shows and being in the class. Her favorite part of makeup is doing gore effects, and learning how to build prosthetics. She is eager to continue learning and expanding her skill set. This is her first production with ACC and is grateful for a great opportunity to work with this wonderful cast and crew. She is thankful for everyone in her life that supports her as she continues to make her dreams come true!
Nicole Green
Nicole Green is a third year student at ACC, earning her Associates Degree in Costume and Makeup Technology. Originally from Maine, she moved to Texas in 2013 and her passion for theatre sparked. Since joining technical theatre her junior year, Nicole has worked on a total of 13 shows, heading the costume department for 3 of them. In the summer of 2020, she had an internship at the Wimberley Playhouse as the costume assistant. After completing her Associates Degree, Nicole is planning on moving to Massachusetts with her older sister to pursue her career, in hopes of getting to New York some day. This is Nicole’s first production at ACC, and she couldn't be more thankful to all of the professors in her department for helping her throughout her years at ACC.
Carlos Charles
Carlos Charles is a filmmaker, photographer, and graphic designer with over 10 years of experience. Carlos has worked with companies such as the University of Texas Austin, Huston-Tillotson University, and The Dallas Mavericks just to name a few. Under his company Sir Charles Media, Carlos Charles has worked with many people sharing a mutual passion for the love of film.
