OUR MISSION
Celebration Arts is a multicultural and multiple-discipline organization whose purpose is to support the development and presentation of the performing arts, making art accessible to community residents through training and performance opportunities.

Meet the Company
KT Masala
KT Masala is an Educator, Mentor & Actress whom has performed with several productions with The MacBeth Project, Celebration Arts, California Musical Theater, MLK Projects, Theater First Company and African American Shakespeare Company.
KT is an ELLY nominee for Supporting Actress and a ELLY award winner. Ms. Masala also was the assistant director, stage manager, and light and sound engineer for multiple productions, as well as serving as a proud board member for Celebration Arts, the co-founder of The MacBeth Project, and Images Theater Company.
Additionally she founded Will Succeed Mentor Services and The Audition podcast. KT embodies an entrepreneurial spirit and has a Master’s degree in Educational Counseling.
Andre Ramey
Andre is happy to join a production with Macbeth Project. He has been in many college productions, including VENUS, SONS/ANCESTORS, ONE SHORT SIGHTED WOMAN VS MAMMY LOUISE AND SAFFRETA MAE, GEM OF THE OCEAN, and Joe Turner's COME AND GONE.
His community theater works include KING HEDLEY, BOURBON ON THE BORDER, A SOLDIER'S PLAY, JITNEY, ACTOR IN SHORTS, THE OTHER ROOM, and most recently TEMPODYSSEY.
He would like to thank his wife, daughter, and all patrons who have come to support him in all his artistic endeavors.
Tasha Nichole King
Tasha Nichole King is a visual artist, intuitive dancer, and actress. In 2018, she decided to take a leap of faith to pursue her calling as an artist for the sake of her health and sanity. Tasha is happy to be back with The MacBeth Project playing the character of Lady Capulet in MOTHER JULIET AT HER ROMEO. In 2022 she also played Hermia in The MacBeth Project's A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM.
Her artwork has been featured in BLK Voices Magazine: Joy Issue #5 (2021), Abstractions Magazine Issue #1 (2021), and at the Golden One Center for Juneteenth (2021) and Black History Month (2022).
Her group exhibitions include Emotions Embodied: Abstractions from the West Coast 2021 at Art Scene West, Solana Beach, CA, and Slice at Pence Gallery, Davis, CA, Activism Through The Arts presented by Sacramento General Congress of Women at Crocker Art Museum, Sacramento, CA, and Black Artists On Art: Past, Present, Future at the Crocker Art Museum, Sacramento, CA.
Jeshon Kyra James
Jeshon is a singer, writer, and actress who is the daughter of Mama Laura Poetess and Granddaughter of Cynthia Robinson, a trumpet player for Sly and the Family Stone.
She began her love for performing arts at a young age with a supporting TV appearance alongside Angela Bassett in Equal Justice. Her live theatre endeavors began with Celebration Arts Kids’ Time which landed her a role in BACCHAI. She has performed in roles in GREASE, GUYS AND DOLLS, and BYE BYE BIRDIE and local films. She has since spent her time building a beautiful family, being a wife and mother of two terrific boys.
Naomi Latrisha Randle-Ludd
Naomi Latrisha Randle-Ludd has performed publicly since 1989 with roles such as Jade in STEAL AWAY at American River College and THE OLD SETTLER. She has appeared in gospel musical plays, including EMERGE, EVANGELIZE, LEGACY 1 & 2, WE COME FROM GREATNESS & HALLELUJAH CITY, all written and directed by the late great Lisa Lacy.
Her film appearances include WHEN A WOMAN'S FED UP by Wes Carter; and many more. Acting and singing have kept her connected to the community and her love of the arts. She appreciates the privilege to perform again in 2023 and thanks God, her family, friends, and patrons for another performing adventure. She thanks Khimberly Marshall and KT for their direction and love. Blessings to all, and tell a friend! This performance is dedicated to her sons Latrell (who makes her proud) and Adriene "Droop" (Rest in Peace, baby boy).
Khimberly Marshall
Khimberly Marshall has 18 years of combined experience in Theatre and Film production, having written, directed, and produced national commercials spots, short films, and regional theatre productions. She has won numerous awards for art and literature.
Khimberly has also worked for major clients such as the California Music Theatre, Sacramento Ballet, Sacramento Area Theatre Alliance, Theatre El Dorado Board, Celebration Arts Board, El Teatro Espejo, and the Creative Arts League of Sacramento. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Management and a second degree in Film from The Art Institute of California. Previously engaged at the Crocker Art Museum as an Art Corp Fellow, she was embedded in the Block-by-Block Initiative, creating social practice art in underrepresented communities.
She is the Artistic Director of The MacBeth Project, designed to provide Shakespearean experiences to communities of color. Khimberly finds her most rewarding work in supporting people and organizations that foster community.
Naomi Watts
Naomi has extensive acting experience, including performances at the American River College theater stage in productions of GUMBALL, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, and NORTH STAR. Additionally, she has 35 years of professional figure skating experience, having skated with Disney on Ice and for a universal circus. She was meant for the stage.

ABOUT CELEBRATION ARTS
Originally the Celebration Dance Company founded in 1976 by James Wheatley, Celebration Arts became a 501c3 organization in 1986. For more than 30 years, Celebration Arts continues to be a cornerstone of music, dance, and theater for the Sacramento region’s African American community bringing Black artists and stories to its stage at 2727 B Street. In addition, Celebration Arts provides educational programs to children through Kids’ Time and dance training for teens, adults, and seniors. More information can be found at celebrationarts.net.
