Aubrey Indorf
Aubrey Indorf (16, Dunedin High, 10th grade) has been performing since age 4 and hopes to pursue the performing arts professionally. Her love for theatre and music has rewarded her many accomplishments, her most memorable being Best Actress and Critics Choice at Florida Thespian Competitions and a Scholar for Outstanding Commitment to Character from Broadway Stars of the Future. She frequently sings for teams such as the NY Yankees, Blue Jays, and Rubber Ducks. She loves helping her community as Secretary of Troupe 2177, and Percussion Section Leader of the Dunedin Highlander Band. She wants to thank Sears Studio, Mrs. Mullholand, and her friends/family for their support in putting on this show!
Caleb McGuire
Caleb McGuire (17, Countryside High, 12th Grade)is a senior in high school doing his first show with Sears Studio. He wants to thank Nancy, Katrina, and Polly for the opportunity to perform for them, his friends and family for always supporting him, and Tota Conservatory for helping him improve so much as a performer.
Leyla-Jade Curbelo
Leyla-Jade Curbelo (15, Gibbs-PCCA, 10th Grade) this is her first show with Sears Studio, and she couldn’t be happier about it. She is a 15-year-old sophomore in the PCCA magnet program at Gibbs High School. For almost three years, she has been performing in various theaters in Pinellas County. However, her original love for theater was able to flourish because of her sister who introduced it to her in the first place. She is so happy that she got the opportunity to be a part of such a/an (Adjective) (Noun) !
Newton Arcilla
This is Newton Arcilla (17, St. Petersburg High, 12th Grade), he portrays the character of Gogo. He is pleased as punch and grateful as all get out to be part of such an amazing, wonderful, amazing opportunity. He would like to thank his friends, his friends, his friends, his friends, his friends, his friends, his friends, his friends, his friends, his friends, and most importantly his dog. Just kidding, his friends. He has been in many a role in his vast lifetime. Vanessa Poole
Vanessa Poole (Seminole High Alum), is a teacher at Sears Studio Performing Arts Academy and Nessa is a long-time performing arts lover, she is very happy to be back on stage again. Starting over 15 years ago, she has gone through countless dance classes, musical rehearsals, and karaoke performances than they can count! She continued theatre into high school and learned more about stage management, costume, prop, and set construction, and joined the improv team. She's continued to perform improvisation, as well as stage manage and build costumes into college.
Nancy Sears Topper
has worked on and off the stage in professional, community, and educational theatre for over thirty years. In 2013, she was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award for her contribution to theatre education in the state of Florida. In 2005, she was nominated as a finalist for Pinellas County Teacher of the Year in two categories. Sears has served on many prestigious theatrical boards, including the Florida Association of Theatre Education, Florida State Thespians, and Pinellas Association for Theatre Educators. She has worked as a college audition coordinator, workshop presenter, and professional coach for the Florida Theatre Conference and the South Eastern Theatre Conference. Some of her favorite musical theatre directing credits include Hello Dolly! Fiddler on the Roof, Brigadoon!, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Songs for a New World, Grease, Carnival, Cinderella, High School Musical, Spelling Bee, Once Upon A Mattress, The Boyfriend and the Music Man. Sears currently works as a freelance theatrical consultant, acting coach, improvisation director, and novelist. She teaches private and group lessons in Pinellas County for actors of all ages and experience levels. Sears would like to thank this cast for displaying their non-stoppable passion and teamwork throughout the rehearsal process.
Polly Croucher
is elated to be back working with Sears Studio Performing Arts Academy. She has been working with Nancy Sears and Katrina Young for the last year and a half as a teaching assistant and lead tech on shows such as Annie Kids, Seussical Jr., and Matilda Jr. She also had the opportunity to stage manage the inaugural Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts-Mahaffey Theater performance of Seussical Jr. thanks to Young and Sears. Her previous Tampa Bay credits on stage include Shows such as Mary Poppins and Mamma Mia (SPCT); Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (EOT); Hunchback of Notre Dame(Skycrest UMC); Nice Work, Chess, Titanic, South Pacific, Mamma Mia, and A Christmas Carol (FWP). Before moving to Florida 6 years ago, Polly had been a part of more than 25 stage productions both on stage and behind the scenes as stage manager in the Kentuckiana area. Some of her favorites include Les Miserable, Footloose, and Spelling Bee. Polly would like to thank Nancy Sears and Katrina Young; the Cast of Mad Libs Live; and her family for always supporting her love for the arts! @pollycroucher
Katrina Young
is absolutely, completely and totally excited to be back working with Nancy Sears and Sears Studio Performing Arts Academy. She has been working with Nancy Sears for over 10 years and has collaborator on many shows including Aladdin JR., Wizard of Oz, Sleeping Beauty JR., Frozen JR., Annie Kids, Seussical JR., and Matilda JR. Katrina is honored to be the Education and Outreach Coordinator at Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts-Mahaffey Theater and Director of their Class Acts and Summer Camp Programs. Her previous stage credits include shows such as Joice Heith in Barnum, Jolene in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Dancer in Sweet Charity (EOT); Little Shop of Horrors (WCP). Katrina would like to thank Nancy Sears and Polly Croucher; the Cast of Mad Libs Live; and her mom for coming to do her laundry in this busy time!
