Director's Note
Welcome, and thank you for being here to experience the joy, heart, and unforgettable music of Mamma Mia!
Directing this year's musical has been both an incredible joy and a meaningful challenge. As my first year directing at the high school level, I stepped into this process feeling a mix of excitement and uncertainty—but above all, deep gratitude for the opportunity to learn, grow, and create alongside such an amazing group of students.
I chose Mamma Mia! because I knew this community would bring something special to it. The music is infectious, the story is full of heart, and as a choreographer, it’s a show I’ve long dreamed of bringing to life. From the very beginning, I saw the potential for this cast to shine—and they have exceeded every expectation.
What has inspired me the most throughout this journey is the growth I’ve witnessed. These students have worked hard to bring this show to life - supporting one another, taking risks, and embracing every moment of the process. Their energy, resilience, and dedication have transformed this production into something truly special, and I could not be more proud of them.
This show would not be possible without the incredible support of our families and community. To the parents, volunteers, and students who have contributed their time, talent, and encouragement—thank you for helping bring this production to life! Your support has made all the difference.
Thank you for being here, and for celebrating the hard work and passion of these students. I hope you enjoy the show as much as we have enjoyed creating it!
-Angela Lund
