Katherine Womer Benjamin

Katherine is thrilled to be returning to the stage after a brief hiatus, and for the first time gets to share the stage with her daughter, Nancy (Neleus). Katherine has been singing and performing since she was a kid, and holds a degree in opera performance from Boston University's College of Fine Arts. Some of Katherine's most memorable roles include Yente, the Matchmaker in Fiddler on the Roof, Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, and Garcias in Don Quixote. Katherine is the Founder and Managing Director of Arts28, a boutique artist management and consulting firm. She also serves as the Director of Operations for Talea Ensemble, a new music chamber orchestra based in New York City. Katherine maintains a private voice studio, where she teaches singers of all ages to use healthy vocal technique and have fun! Katherine resides in Kings Park with her amazing kids, Nancy (13) and Linden (11), and her husband, Mike, a trombonist and the Sachem HS North band director.

Nancy Benjamin Carroll

Nancy is excited to be back on stage with Community Playhouse of Northport as Neleus in Mary Poppins! Nancy has been performing for most of her life, starting as a competitive Irish step dancer at the age of 4, and adding voice, piano, saxophone, and theatre shortly thereafter. Some of Nancy's favorite roles include Princess Winnifred the Woebegone in Once Upon a Mattress, Brooke Wyndham in Legally Blonde, Tweedle Dum  in Alice in Wonderland, and Tessie in Annie. When Nancy is not running lines for her current production, you can find her on the golf course with the Kings Park High School Jr Varsity golf team, rehearsing with the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra Sr Treble Chorus, or perfecting her sourdough baking skills. Nancy feels lucky to have had some incredible music teachers (Mr. Fujarski! Mr. Zatorski!), as well as a family of performing arts professionals who have always been very supportive of her passion for the performing arts!

Donna DiBiase

Donna DiBiase is thrilled to make her debut with Community Playhouse of Northport. Previous regional credits include Featured Soloist in Blame It On The Movies (South Shore Theatricals) and Mary, Opening Soloist, Ensemble in Journey, Cross and Crucifixion (CM Performing Arts Center). Donna is a 1st Soprano with The Babylon Chorale and has also been a featured soloist. In April 2024, she performed Elaine Hagenberg's Illuminare with the National Masterwork Chorus and Orchestra at Carnegie Hall. She is a cantor at Christ The King Church in Commack, NY where she sings at masses, weddings, and funerals, and is also a Soprano in their choir. Donna is so grateful for the opportunity to work with this incredibe cast and wants to thank her husband, Angelo, and their children, Gabrielle and Ryan, for all of their love and support.

Allison Rose Dominick

Allison is thrilled to make her debut with the Community Playhouse of Northport! Recent credits include Cinderella in Into the Woods (RAFCO Productions) and Tabitha/Cheshire Cat in Alice by Heart (USDAN). When not in rehearsal, Allison can be found at JAM Dance and Fitness in Bellmore, where she is part of the national dance company, or during the summer, down by the beach. She would like to thank her family, friends and management team for their love and support and the incredible cast and crew for such a wonderful experience.

Cary Friedman

Cary Friedman (Park Keeper – Cast A / Admiral Boom – Cast A & B/ Ensemble - Cast A & B) is thrilled to be performing in his 10th show at Community Playhouse of Northport. Previous credits include Horton in Seussical, Escapologist in Matilda, Pippin in Pippin, Rev. Alvin T. Paterson in Annie Warbucks, Mr. Brownlow in Oliver!, Tsar Nicholas in Anastasia, and Old Man Jenkins in The SpongeBob Musical. Other credits include Ensemble in Cinderella and Elf.  When he’s not on stage, Cary enjoys spending as much time as possible with his family and friends, especially his two grandchildren, and working in an executive leadership position at a children’s wear company. Cary would like to thank his two daughters, Katie and Kimmy, for bringing theater into his life, and his wife, Laurie, who is also performing in Mary Poppins, for their endless love and support.

Laurie Friedman

Laurie is thrilled to be making her CPN MainStage debut in Mary Poppins as Miss Andrew! Previous roles have been Rizzo in Grease, Paulette in Legally Blonde, Grandma Rosie in The Wedding Singer, Sylvia in All Shook Up, Kelsie in High School Musical 2, Lucy in You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, Sour Kangaroo in Seussical, Leading Player in Pippin and her fav to date, Queen Aggravain in Once Upon A Mattress. Laurie thanks her family and friends for their support and encouragement.

Lisa V. Kerr

Lisa Kerr is delighted to be back onstage with the Community Playhouse of Northport after a one year hiatus.  Favorite roles include Grace in Annie Warbucks and Mrs. Bucket in Willy Wonka with much earlier appearances as Anna in The King and I and Liesl in The Sound of Music.  By day, Lisa leads Risk Management at Henry Schein, Inc. but she's happiest trading spreadsheets and meetings for music, laughter. and stage.  She also loves karaoke, painting, and spending time with her husband Nathan, children Nicole and Andrew, family, friends, and her truffle dog, Baci.

Lucy Manzella

Lucy Manzella (Valentine - Cast A; Ensemble - Cast B) is 12 years old and is excited to be part of Mary Poppins! She previously performed in The Aristocats at Engeman Theater as a member of the ensemble and starred as Charlie in her fifth-grade production of Willy Wonka Jr.  Lucy loves singing and acting and enjoys every opportunity to be on stage. When she’s not performing, she loves spending time with her family and friends as well as playing guitar and cello.  She hopes you enjoy the show!

Brad Schlossberg

Brad is thrilled to be playing his favorite role of "dad who cares more about money than his kids, but has a change of heart."  Past portrayals of such dads include:  Mr. Krabs in Spongebob the Musical (CPN), Walter Hobbs in Elf (CPN) and Hertz Klinemann in Rock of Ages (CAP Syosset). Other favorite roles include Count Ipolitov in Anastasia (CPN), Mr. Bumble in Oliver! (CPN), Oliver Warbucks in Annie Warbucks.(CPN), John the Baptist in Godspell (POTR), Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof (LBTG), and the Courier in 1776 (TTG).  When not on stage Brad is an attorney and head of litigation at BFSNG Law Group LLP in Syosset.  Brad wants to thank his wife Lisa for her courage to come back on stage after 20+ years, his son Ray for being his performing partner and scene stealer, and his elusive son, Ryan, who has so far resisted the lure of the stage.  

Emily Gilligan

Emily Gilligan is thrilled to be back at CPN for Mary Poppins after appearing in The SpongeBob Musical earlier this season! A theater artist, director, and teaching artist, Emily holds a B.A. in Theater and Arts Management from SUNY Potsdam. She has always loved the magic that happens when people come together to create something special, and she is especially excited to support the young performers throughout this production. There is something incredibly special about watching kids find their confidence, take on new challenges, and experience the joy of being part of a theater community alongside the talented artists who surround them. Emily has loved watching this production come together and is so grateful to be a part of the magic behind the scenes as this incredible cast brings the world of Mary Poppins to life.
