Director’s Message
Welcome to Mary Poppins Jr.! We are so excited to welcome you to our production and to share this special and magical story with you.
We chose “Mary Poppins Jr.” as our next show for many reasons. Personally, it was the first professional musical I ever saw in the West End. I remember it so well. When Mary Poppins flew out over the audience, when Bert did a tap dance on the ceiling, and when the iconic music filled the theatre, I knew that musical theatre was something I would want to do myself. Putting this show on stage now feels like a full-circle moment, and I couldn’t be more excited and proud.
Mary Poppins reminds us that anything can happen if you let it with imagination, kindness, and a bit of magic. This show celebrates creativity, family, and believing in the extraordinary. I hope this message resonates with our audience and performers.
I am so incredibly grateful to our cast and crew for their dedication and hard work throughout this process. The countless hours of effort behind the scenes is the reason this show exists. Thank you to everyone for your commitment and belief in me and our young performers.
To our audience: thank you for being here and supporting children’s theatre. We hope this show reminds you to embrace imagination, and leave room for a little magic in your day.

Message from the Board
We are so excited as a company to be able to bring to you this beloved classic, “Mary Poppins Jr.” Once again the amazing talented youth that we have in our community continues to astound us, and this amazing group of youngsters have poured their hearts and souls into bringing this story to life for you under the wonderful guidance of our artistic team and all the crew.
We thank all the team for the sheer joy and pleasure that they bring to rehearsals, and this translates to the growth we see from our youth that escalates into their everyday life. As a company, we are proud to invest in the future of the arts in the lives of the cast, and we love to see how they shine, and continue doing so in our other productions.
Thank you for supporting our young performers, and we hope you enjoy watching them shine on stage.

Meet the Company
Juliana Messmar
Playing the role of Mary Poppins is a dream come true for Juliana! She has been involved with RCMPI for many years now, loving every second of rehearsals, and, most of all, the performances! Some of her favourite past shows include “Annie” (Kate), “Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical” (Hortensia), and “Peter Pan Jr.” (Wendy).
Chiara Pavone
Chiara is so excited to play Bert in "Mary Poppins Jr"! This is her third show with RCMPI, as she enjoyed her time on stage in "Peter Pan Jr." and "School of Rock" as well. Chiara loves all things music: singing, dancing, and playing guitar, bass, piano, and drums. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Gabriella Collins
Gabriella is thrilled to be part of her second show with RCMPI as Jane Banks in "Mary Poppins Jr."! She was previously in "School of Rock" as Shonelle. She thanks God, her family, friends, and kittens for their support. She hopes you have a super(califragilisticexpialidocious) time watching the show!
Chase Gervais
Chase is very excited to be in his first production with RCMPI. Chase enjoys performing and singing, playing hockey, baseball, and skiing. He also loves spending time with his family and his cat and dog. Chase would like to thank Sarah Duff at Guelph Youth Theatre Academy for all her support.
Georgia Bulmahn
Georgia is thrilled to be part of “Mary Poppins Jr.”! This is her fifth show with RCMPI, including "The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr.", "Disney's The Little Mermaid", "Peter Pan Jr.", and "Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical". Big thanks to Sarah Duff, Kat Studios, Jamschool, and TGAD for their support. Enjoy the show!
Max Bronson
Max Bronson is excited to play Mr. Banks in his first role with RCMPI. Max's credits include Donkey in "Shrek", and Kevin G in "Mean Girls", both with Centre Stage Kids. He has performed in the Stratford Musical Theatre camp, and GCVI's production of "The Wizard of Oz".
Ariana Deyell
Ariana is delighted to perform in “Mary Poppins Jr.”! This is her third show with RCMPI, with previous roles in “The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr.” and “School of Rock.” Ariana enjoys soccer, saxophone, reading, and writing. She thanks her family, friends, and the supercalifragilistic cast and crew for making it possible!
Sebastian Goodreau-Nef
Sebastian is stoked to stumble back to RCMPI as the Banks' Family Houseboy. He previously appeared as The Sneak Thief in “The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr.”, and, since then, he has spent much time on two of his favourite pursuits: travelling, and honing his Rubik’s Cube skills.
Millie Purkis
Millie is thrilled to be making her RCMPI debut! She fell in love with theatre last year, and has performed with TCP, KWMP and Drayton! Millie also sings and dances her heart out onstage with Pop Nation Canada. Thanks to her voice coach, Tammy Whetham, and to all her friends and family for their support!
Watson Monkhouse
Watson is excited to make her return to RCMPI this season! Watson has been singing since she was three years old! She would like to thank her voice teacher at JamSchool, Samantha, for all of her guidance.
Coleson Hartog
Coleson is very excited to play Chairman in “Mary Poppins Jr.” This is Coleson's fourth show with RCMPI. Other shows include "Peter Pan Jr.", "The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr.", and “School of Rock”. When offstage, Coleson enjoys playing soccer and camping.
Eloise Allen
Eloise is thrilled to appear in "Mary Poppins Jr." as Von Hussler and a Dancer! She previously played Blind Mouse/Narrator #2 in "Shrek Jr.", and loves dance, singing, and musical theatre. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Callan Corstorphine
Callan is excited to join this talented cast in his second musical with RCMPI. Other shows include "The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr." When he’s not on stage, you can find Callan with his family, with his RCAQ swim team, or fine tuning his voice with JRB. Please just sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.
Zoë Brown
Zoë is proud to join the cast of "Mary Poppins Jr." This is her fifth show with RCMPI, having performed in "Peter Pan Jr.", "The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr.", "Disney's The Little Mermaid", and, most recently, "School of Rock". Zoë would like to thank her friends and family for their continued love and support.
Julia Dartsch
Julia is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious to be playing Miss Andrew (and a dancer!) in RCMPI’s “Mary Poppins Jr.”! Julia would like to thank the cast, crew, and directorial team for making this such a wonderful show!
Sequoia Baskin
Sequoia is excited to join the cast of "Mary Poppins Jr."! This is her second performance with RCMPI, having played Madison in "School of Rock". She loves singing and performing. Sequoia has also appeared in three Centre Stage Kids productions. She would like to thank the cast and crew.
Copeland Cummins
Copeland has emerged from his piles of lego for his debut on the stage. Joining his mother, brother, and sister in the ranks of RCMPI veterans, he is excited to be a part of the cast of "Mary Poppins Jr." alongside new friends.
Isabel Dartsch
Isabel is ecstatic to be in RCMPI’s production of “Mary Poppins Jr.”! This is her second show with RCMPI, previously having played Jetsam in “Disney's The Little Mermaid” in 2024! Enjoy the show!
Ife Ilesanmi
Ife is thrilled to be in the Ensemble of "Mary Poppins Jr.", bringing energy, joy, and sparkle to every performance. Though she may be shy at first, her excitement shines in "the room where it happens". "The ensemble isn't just a group, they're the heartbeat of the show".
Kellen O'Brien
Kellen’s love of musical theatre continues to grow with "Mary Poppins Jr."! His previous shows include RCMPI’s "Peter Pan Jr.", "The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr.", "School of Rock", and Kat Studio’s "Heartstrings". He is excited to share his talents, and hopes you enjoy the show!
Malik Sarkis-Skinner
Malik loves being in "Mary Poppins Jr."! He likes to sing, dance, and perform on stage. He is happy to have made good friends with other cast members. Malik's favourite sports are ball hockey and skiing, and he loves to cook very early breakfasts for his mom.
Autumn White
Autumn is 11 years old, and loves bringing energy and fun wherever she goes. This is her second time on stage, having previously played Nurse Betty in "The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr." She is thrilled to be in "Mary Poppins Jr.", and hopes Mary teaches her to clean her room with magic.
Quinn Au
Quinn is thrilled to be a part of her third musical with RCMPI. She loves to dance, and has been doing it for the past seven years! She enjoys hanging out with her friends and her grumpy cats. Quinn hopes you enjoy watching this show!
Amelia Collins
Amelia is excited to be in her first RCMPI show as a Dancer in "Mary Poppins Jr."! She thanks God, her family, kittens, and friends for all their love and support. She hopes this show makes you smile. Enjoy the show!
Sydney Ennis
Sydney is thrilled to dance in her fifth RCMPI show. Previous roles include Marcy in “School of Rock”, and Micheal in “Peter Pan Jr.” She is thankful to her cats, Leo and Finnegan, and to her dog, parents, and siblings. Finally, she wants to shout out to the cast and crew of this amazing show!
Chloe Groves
Chloe is thrilled to return to RCMPI after having a blast in "The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr." last year. She recently performed as Alice in Guelph Little Theatre's production of "Alice in Wonderland". Big thanks to her family, friends, and teachers for cheering her on. Enjoy the show!
Chloe Hamilton
This is Chloe’s second RCMPI production, having previously acted in "The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr." She is very excited to be part of this year’s show as a dancer. When she’s not dancing, she enjoys reading and listening to music. Chloe would like to thank everyone who came to see the show.
Cara Parker
Cara is thrilled to be returning to the stage in her first RCMPI production “Mary Poppins Jr.” Her hobbies outside of theatre include competitive tap dancing, singing, acting, and horseback riding. Cara would like to thank RCMPI, and her family and friends for their continued support.
Violet Swanson
Violet is excited to be apart of RCMPI's production of "Mary Poppins Jr." She is very happy to take part in this performance, and is thankful for this wonderful experience. She would like to thank all her friends, family, and teachers for supporting and encouraging her throughout this journey.
Mara Vigon
Mara made her stage debut last year in “Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka”, and “Mary Poppins Jr.” is her first production with RCMPI. She loves music, and studies dance at Holly Hughes Dance Academy. When she’s not dancing, you can usually find her playing piano, or crafting a new Dungeons & Dragons character for her next campaign.
Anna MacMillan
Anna is thrilled to direct her second show with RCMPI. Past directing credits include “The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr.”, “Disney's Beauty and the Beast Jr.”, and “Seussical Jr.” Mary Poppins holds a special place in her heart as she believes seeing this show as a child is the reason why she does theatre today.
Milwaukee Baker
Milwaukee (he/him) is a performer and award-winning choreographer, specializing in contemporary and theatre. He has choreographed for RCMPI (Youth Show 2024, Youth Show and Fall Show 2025), LaMira Rose Collective, Centre Stage Kids, and Guelph CVI among others. For B, G, M, O, C, E, M, A, A, E, and E.
Ana Maria Rajcan
This is Ana Maria's 11th show with RCMPI, and her fourth time as Musical Director. Working with this cast has been practically perfect in every way; thank you to each of them. Thank you also to the crew, production team, and board of directors. And big hugs to her family for their unending support!
Julie Hubbard
Julie is an RCMPI board member, and long-time RCMPI supporter, who is thrilled to be working alongside the cast and crew of "Mary Poppins Jr."! She is thankful for her incredible and talented team of beautiful people. “Anything can happen if you let it”!
Erynn Hayden
This is Erynn’s first production as Stage Manager, following her role as Assistant Stage Manager for "The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr." last year. She’s had a blast with this incredible cast and crew, and is excited to be a part of bringing this show to life.
Richard Dawson
Richard is proud to be an ASM in this production of "Mary Poppins Jr.", and to be working with this amazing group of talented young actors. Richard has been on stage and behind the scenes for 14 RCMPI productions spanning over 40 years. We hope you enjoy the show.
Lauryn Hayden
This is Lauryn’s second show as Props Coordinator, and first time as an official ASM! Lauryn designed props for RCMPI’s last youth show, “The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr.” He is so proud of the cast for their hard work and endless talent, as well as the crew for the many hours spent creating something so magical! Enjoy the show!
Catherine Weddell
Catherine is thrilled to be working on “Mary Poppins Jr." She was recently an ASM for RCMPI’s "The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr.", and COS Minor’s "Peter Pan Jr." Catherine has performed in various productions on stage with RCMPI , COS, ACT, and Century Church Theatre, and works with children as a Pedagogical Coach.

Sheila has been a member of RCMPI since 1994, and has participated in a variety of roles, both on and offstage. “Mary Poppins Jr” marks her 40th production with RCMPI. She is excited to be part of this amazing team as we bring this year's junior company production to the GLT stage. Enjoy the show!

Julia is delighted to be swept up into her second RCMPI junior show as costume designer for “Mary Poppins Jr.”! Julia has been involved in multiple RCMPI shows, and works as a musical theatre coach in Guelph at Kat Studios. She wants to deeply thank the super cast and crew for all their trust and support!
