Anthony Velasquez

Actor 1: The Duke
Anthony Velasquez - Actor 1: The Duke Anthony is making his debut with the Gary Shakespeare Company, and is honored to be among such a talented cast and crew. Having studied and completed the Meisner’s actors program at Green Shirt Studios in Chicago; Anthony has preformed at the Green Shirt Ten Minutes Play Fest. In addition, he performed at Beatniks On Conkey’s theatre productions of Who is The Real Sherlock Holmes and A Black Comedy.

Alexander Bonner

Actor 2: Angelo
Alexander Bonner - Actor 2: Angelo Alexander is pleased to be working with GSC again, having previously played roles in the productions of Macbeth, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Julius Caesar, The Tempest, and Comedy of Errors. No stranger to NWI theater, his previous favorite credits include Macduff in both GSC and Chicago Streets' productions of Macbeth, Smee in 4th St Theater's production of Peter and the Star Catcher, Wadsworth in Clue on Stage at Laporte Little Theatre, and of course, Edgar Allan Poe in Nevermore at Holdcraft Players. Shakespeare will always be Alexander's favorite thing to perform. He is so privileged to be working with such amazing people (new and old friends alike) that have made this a wonderful experience to be a part of.

Keith Loeffler

Actor 3: Lucio / Lighting Design
Keith Loeffler - Actor 3: Lucio / Lighting Design Keith has a theatrical career spanning more than 30 years. He was most recently the Narrator in GSC's Comedy of Errors and Alphonso in GSC's production of The Tempest. He also portrayed The Soothsayer in GSC’s Julius Caesar and played Pooh-Bah in the Dunes Summer Theatre production of Mikado, but is more often seen in the lighting booth. Keith has designed lights for productions across Northwest Indiana including Evil Dead: The Musical at CST; Jekyll and Hyde at the Dunes; Dracula at Portage Community Theater; and most recently, Clue: The Musical at Memorial Opera House. Keith is thrilled to have been cajoled into joining the cast...again...for the fifth year in a row.

Ian Horn

Actor 4: Escalus / Abhorsen
Ian Horn - Actor 4: Escalus / Abhorsen Ian is very excited to be performing in Measure For Measure; his second show with the Gary Shakespeare Company! You may have remembered him as Duke Solinus, Balthazar, and an officer in The Comedy of Errors last year. Ian has been performing in theater since his freshman year of high school at Munster. Since then, he has done shows all over the region, about 25 total so far. Some include Tarzan, Hairspray, and The Addams Family, The Little Mermaid, Joseph, Done To Death, The Man Who Came to Dinner, Sweeney Todd, Bad Auditions By Bad Actors, Young Frankenstein, and Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead. Ian would like to thank his family and friends for their endless support as he hopes to continue along his acting journey with Measure For Measure. He hopes you’ll all have a fun time! Jill Thomas

Actor 5: Provost
Jill Thomas - Actor 5: Provost Jill Thomas is very excited and thrilled to be the Provost for her debut with Gary Shakespeare Company! Jill has been a part of several community theatres as a performer or as assistant to her favorite director, Dr. Tony. She has participated at 4th St Theatre in Chesterton, Community Theatre Guid at the Chicago Street Theatre in Valparaiso, LaPorte Little Theatre in LaPorte, Holdcraft Performing Arts, and Footlight in Michigan City. Jill also serves as secretary on the board of directors for Holdcraft. She thanks her husband Tony, kids Michael & Veronica for supporting her and Stephanie for awarding her this great opportunity and all the fun! Thanks for supporting community theatre!

Matt Seiluns

Actor 6: Claudio / Barnadine
Matt Seiluns - Actor 6: Claudio / Barnadine Matthew is very excited to be returning for his fourth Gary Shakespeare Company production. Previous GSC shows include: The Tempest (Sebastian), Midsummer Nights Dream (Quince), Othello (Duke of Venice). Other recent credits: Shake Up Christmas (Bobbert McFlibberty), Birthday Candles (Billy).

Carl Wolf

Actor 7: Pompey / Friar Thomas
Carl Wolf - Actor 7: Pompey / Friar Thomas This is Carl Wolf's 10th stage production in the last 30 years, three of them coming in the 1980's and four of them in the last two years. His time on stage over the last year has reminded him how much fun it is to be involved in community theater. His previous productions include State Fair, A Christmas Carol, Our Town, Once Upon a Mattress, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, The Fantasticks, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Comedy of Errors with GSC. Carl is the Executive Director of Respond Now in Chicago Heights, a non profit that provides health, hunger, and housing services. He lives in Hammond with his wife, Stephanie Dowell as empty nesters. They have two children, Max and Lilia.

Auriel Lark Felsecker

Actor 8: Isabella / 2nd Gentleman / Fight Captian
Auriel Lark Felsecker - Actor 8: Isabella / 2nd Gentleman / Fight Captian Auriel Lark Felsecker is thrilled to be returning to the Gary Shakespeare Company after her GSC debut last year with Comedy of Errors. Previously, she was seen as Elmira/Player 6 (Nevermore!) at The Holdcraft Players. Although a stranger to the GSC stage, she is no stranger to Shakespeare. A few of her favorite past Shakespearean roles include The Nurse (Romeo & Juliet), Beatrice (Much Ado About Nothing), Trinculo (The Tempest), and Quince (A Midsummer Night’s Dream). Other favorite past roles include Cheryl (Evil Dead The Musical), Logainne (The Putnam County Spelling Bee), Mlynn (Steel Magnolias), and Piglet (A Winnie The Pooh Christmas Tail). She would like to thank her friends, family, and partner for supporting her artistic endeavors (and her insane schedule) and her remarkable castmates and production team for making her return to playing in Shakespeare, after a bit of a hiatus, the most fun experience!

Maggie Reister

Maggie Reister - Actor 9: Madame Overdone / Juliet / Messenger Maggie is a regular in NW Indiana’s community theaters and she is delighted to return to Gary Shakespeare as Madam Overdone (et all). Recent performances include Rumors, Dad’s Christmas Miracle and Clairee in Steel Magnolias at Beatniks on Conkey. She is especially proud of her role in Going Home, the 10 Minute play voted “Best Drama” at 4th Street Theatre in August. Other roles include Aoife in (Outside Mullingar), Jessica Olive (Done to Death), Mickey (Odd Couple: Female Version), Cynthia Muldoon (The Real Inspector Hound), and Maggie (The Man Who Came to Dinner). Maggie is a Financial Advisor with WPFG. She and her husband Tom live in Valparaiso and enjoy biking, skiing and visiting the grandkids in NC.

Christina Biancardi - Actor 10: Marianna / Elbow / Servant / 1st Gentleman Christina is best known for her award nominated title-role in Gary Shakespeare Company's production of Hamlet. She has a degree in English and Theatre from Indiana University. She is an actor, director, writer, designer, and producer. Performing Credits: GSC: Caliban (The Tempest); Helena (A Midsummer Night’s Dream); Tybalt (Romeo and Juliet). Suzanne in Dearly Departed (Beatniks on Conkey); Margot in Dial M for Murder (Genesius Guild); Gerty in Failure: A Love Story (Theatre Northwest). Stephanie A. Naumoff

Stephanie A. Naumoff - Director Stephanie A. Naumoff has enjoyed performing, directing, and designing for over 35 years in multiple area theatres, as well as various venues in Chicago, and across the country. Stephanie has also been fortunate to lecture and teach courses in acting, directing, costuming, improv, and Shakespeare for local middle schools, high schools, and colleges. Stephanie was honored to portray both Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing and Maria in Twelfth Night for The Gary Shakespeare Company, as well as directed and costumed multiple GSC productions including Macbeth, Othello, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Julius Caesar, and most recently Comedy of Errors. Shakespeare has always been a passion of Stephanie’s; a passion she shared with her father.

Kylie K. Cooper

Dramaturge / Rehearsal Assistant
Kylie K. Cooper - Dramaturge / Rehearsal Assistant Kylie K. Cooper is delighted to rejoin the Gary Shakespeare Company, this time in their production of Measure for Measure. Previously, she worked as a Production Assistant for their Hamlet production in 2018. Since then, Kylie has worked as a soundboard operator for Indiana University - Northwest's productions of Bright New Boise and Everybody in 2022 and 2023, respectively. She also served as Assistant Stage Director for Two Trains Running (West Side Theatre Guild) in 2024. Kylie deeply loves the arts and has performed from a young age, singing in choirs and as a soloist. She thanks her family and friends for their abiding love and support.

Kim Duha

Costume Designer / Construction
Kim Duha - Costume Designer / Construction Kim Duha is an accomplished seamstress and has been costuming for years. A recent addition to Gary Shakespeare, Kim costumed last year's production of Comedy of Errors. Primarily, Kim has worked for the Marian Theatre Guild in Whiting, where one of her favorite costuming projects was Little Women. Kim has recently co-costumed multiple productions with Stephanie Naumoff including Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Birthday Candles, The Fantasticks, and Lost in Yonkers. Kim works as a Safety Inspector, and loves to spend time with her children, her dog Bunny, and her beautiful grand baby!

James Severa

Scenic Designer / Construction
James Severa - Scenic Designer / Construction Jim Severa is a retired educational and healthcare facilities administrator...and an amateur theater set designer. Jim has created sets for over twenty stage productions with the Purdue Calumet 'Building Community Through the Arts' series, the Purdue Calumet Theater Company, and the Gary Shakespeare Company.

Corya Channing

Rehearsal Liaison / Coach
Corya Channing - Rehearsal Liaison / Coach Corya Channing was one of the original founders of the Gary Shakespeare Co. She has been teaching drama, producing and directing theatricals and organizing events for various organizations for decades. Corya is involved in many aspects of theatre in the Northwest Indiana and Chicago area. She is happy to be back home with William Shakespeare again!
