Meet the Company
April Morrow-Pearson
Annie Wilkes
April Morrow-Pearson is very excited to play a role she’s dreamed of playing since she was 9 years old - She is Annie’s number one fan. April is ecstatic to be sharing the stage with the epic Jason and awesome Jonathan. She’s so very grateful for the production crew as well. Their time and talent have made this process fun. April would like to give HUGE shout Tammy Wilson for her direction, patience, and encouragement. Much love to her “Favorite,” their wonderful kids, three puppies and two cats who have all graciously supported her through every project. She loves Pizza too.
Jason Ogg
Paul Sheldon
Jason Ogg is thrilled and privileged to be sharing the stage with the gifted April Morrow-Pearson and the incomparable Jonathan Wilson in this iconic and challenging play. After a long hiatus, Jason was seen last year as Professor Plum in Gaslight Dinner Theatre's production of Clue: On Stage, and Gaslight's production of The Importance of Being Earnest at the Cherokee Strip Heritage Center as Dr. Chausuble. Thank you, Tammy Wilson, for casting me and for your unending patience guiding us through this challenging process. Thank you to our earnest and hardworking crew, and to makeup master Jenn Norman for "injuring" me nightly. Much love to my talented and gorgeous wife April, son Kian, and daughter Rachel for doing without me these past few weeks.
Jonathan Wilson
Buster
Jonathan Wilson is happy to be in his second show with Gaslight Theatre, for the second time playing an officer, and in company with the fabulous Jason Ogg, for the second time. This is his first good-fortune to work with the outstanding April Morrow - Pearson and under the diligent direction of Tammy Wilson (no relation) who has put together a wonderful set and magnificent stage crew. Jonathan would like to thank his lovely wife Jamie for her support and acceptance of his passion for theatre, and the late nights that accompany it.
Tammy Wilson
Director
Director Tammy Wilson has been involved with the Gaslight since her first appearance in Graceland in 1992. Since then she has appeared on the stage several times as well as in several Shakespeare in the Park productions. Misery is her fourth production to direct. She is incredibly proud of and thankful for her cast and crew who overcame insane odds to pull this show off as well as the Betzes and Loughmans who all stepped in to create the amazing set. She is also thankful to her husband, Marty, and her mom, Shirley, for always being willing to lend a helping hand.
