Carmen Ball
Director
Carmen Ball (Director) is active onstage, backstage, and directing as well as on the Gaslight Board. This is her second time to direct Spamalot, one of her favorite musicals, and she has enjoyed working with all in the cast and crew tremendously. Everyone worked so hard with such positive energy- it was a joy! Plus when you have a show with a conga line and a large chaotic chase scene- priceless! She hopes you enjoy this show as much as she has enjoyed working on it!! Thanks especially to her husband, Frank Baker, for his time and talent and coffee in the morning! “Always Look on The Bright Side!”
Angela Gallagher
Asst. Director & Choreographer
Angela Gallagher (Assistant Director/Choreographer) has been involved in the performing arts since the she started dance classes at the age of 3. This year marks her 20th year as a dance instructor/choreographer, and her 10th year as a Gaslight Theatre player. Choreography credits include Best Little Whorehouse In Texas, [title of show], Mamma Mia!, Mary Poppins, Green Day’s American Idiot, and Once. Some of her most memorable roles include Susan in [title of show], Shelby in Steel Magnolias, Germaine in Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Angie Graziano in Breaking Legs, and Miss Scarlet in Clue. Directorial credits include Gaslight Theatre Kids Drama Camp, [title of show], and she was on the creative team for Mary Poppins, Green Day’s American Idiot and Once. She is grateful for the opportunity to choreograph such a fun and silly Monty Python show. “Thank you to this amazing cast and my fellow directors for an incredible summer musical experience!”
Music Director
Sean Gallagher
Since receiving his undergrad and graduate degrees in music from University of Central Oklahoma, Sean Gallagher (Music Director) has been teaching and playing professionally for well over 25 years. As an educator, Sean has taught privately, been adjunct professor for Southern Nazarene University, and music instructor for Classen School of Advanced Study in OKC. As a performer, he’s been involved with musicals, variety shows, as well as played and recorded with several artists across the state; opening for Mercy Me, Matthew West, and Leona Mitchell as well as performing alongside artists such as Kristi Starling, Kyle Dillingham, Katrina Elam, Rita Springer, and Plumb. Formerly, a worship leader full time for over 18 years, Sean currently travels around the state leading worship for a variety of congregations.
As the music director in past Gaslight productions, you may have seen Sean direct and/or perform in One Man, Two Guvnors, Green Day’s American Idiot, ONCE, and now Spamalot. When not performing with his band, or as a solo act, you can find him with his better half, Angela Gallagher loving life. Between the two, they have four wonderful kids, and enjoy what Enid offers their blended family.
I am grateful to be part of the creative team for Spamalot, and have the opportunity to, not only direct, but also collaborate with this group of hard-working actors, and be surrounded by such AMAZING talent!
