Jesse Hartley
Jesse Hartley is a NYC based Actor & Director focused on uplifting the pillars of community, diversity, and fun in every single thing he does.
Originally from Catonsville Maryland, Jesse moved to NYC in 2022 with one dream in mind, “Be the trans man he longed to see on and off stage and screen.” Since then Jesse has succeeded in this goal in ways he could not even begin to comprehend including but not limited to playing Draco Malfoy in an all trans live reading of the Harry Potter Fanfiction, My Immortal, originating the roles of Kay in “The Devil & I” and Benny in “Miss Money Honey Bee”, producing a cabaret of Emo Music called “Emo Nite” at The Green Room 42, working as a Puppeteer at The Bronx Zoo (and then later transitioning into a day job in the admin department, making him the sole victim of the “Puppeteer to Admin Pipeline”) and developing/co-directing “Pillow Talk: A Play About Trans Sex” with his best friend Cory Sapienza.
Above all else Jesse is here to uplift trans voices and tell trans stories.
