Patrick Daly

Writer
Patrick is an easily confused and generally polite writer/performer with a body of work that spans various mediums and genres. His original plays, including “Family Values!”, “WRAPPED”, and “Charlie (Who Paints Art)”, have been produced in various venues throughout the country, from regional theatre to colleges and even cabaret spaces such as The Green Room 42. His screenwriting work has formed the foundation for various upcoming shorts, such as the black comedy “SHEP” and the psychological thriller “Mothlight Project”. Regardless of the genre or medium he finds himself working in, Patrick is always driven by a fascination with the ways in which people communicate, and, more importantly, the ways in which we don’t. Language, social roles, and the frustration inherent to the subjectivity of the human experience color all of his works, from standup to farcical theatre to grim & gritty crime dramas. patrick.daly@redraftcreative.com

As a producer, he has worked on Make-A-Wish’s “Power of a Wish Gala” with Tina Fey and the Halloween special of the revived kids show “Wonderama”.
