Senior Spotlight

Emma Zeidman(Little Mermaid) just graduated high school and is thrilled to be doing her 10th show—and technically her 7th year—with Theatrics! Some shows she has appeared in are Grease, Frozen, Footloose, High School Musical(Chad/student musical director), Seussical, and Chicago. She has also student musical directed Descendants. Emma loves Miss Brittany’s Actors Studio class, where she develops her acting skills. In the fall she will be attending Marist University and is excited to continue pursuing her passion for the arts. Outside of theatre, she enjoys singing, playing piano, and (occasionally) doing music theory. Break a leg to everyone, and enjoy Once Upon a One More Time!

As we celebrate our graduating seniors, there are two young women whose journeys feel especially intertwined with the story of Theatrics itself.

Both Emm and Vienna joined us before the world changed, and continued to become part of our “Zoomie-shows” during the uncertainty of the pandemic. Through every season that followed, they remained constant sources of positivity, perseverance, and heart. No matter what obstacles life placed in their path, their focus was always on finding their way back to the people, the stage, and the community they loved. Their dedication to Theatrics has been an inspiration to all of us.

We are incredibly proud not only of their accomplishments, but of the strength, kindness, and resilience they have shown throughout their years with us. Watching them grow into the remarkable young women they are today has been one of the great privileges of our Theatrics journey.

Congratulations, Emm Zeidman!

A graduate of Mount Sinai High School and headed to Marist College, Emm has been part of the Theatrics family for many years. Longtime members may remember her in our original “Zoomies,” and her photo holding an iPad became the image I turned to again and again when promoting our online productions during the pandemic. At a time when so much felt uncertain, that photo captured exactly what theatre continued to provide—joy, connection, and excitement.

Over the years, we’ve watched Emm grow from Marty to Elsa, to a beautiful mermaid, and eventually into a teacher and mentor for our youngest performers. Through every role, she has brought warmth, enthusiasm, and a genuine love of theatre that shines both on and off the stage.

We are beyond proud not only of all that you have accomplished, but of the thoughtful, caring, and remarkable young woman you have become. Best wishes as you begin this exciting new chapter at Marist College. We can’t wait to hear all about your adventures ahead!

Congratulations, Vienna Sigismondi!

A graduate of Miller Place High School and headed to Fordham University, Vienna has been a treasured member of the Theatrics family since our pre-pandemic days. From the very beginning, she has brought a smile, an encouraging word, and a positive spirit wherever she goes.

Despite a schedule that always seems packed with activities, accomplishments, and commitments, Vienna has consistently found a way to keep Theatrics close to her heart. From Frenchy to “The OFG” and countless performances in between, she has shared her talent, dedication, and kindness with every cast lucky enough to work alongside her.

And, of course, thank you for being the one student with whom I can always talk Barbra Streisand. Whenever a Barbra post appears on my social media feed, I can almost guarantee Vienna has already liked it before I’ve even seen it. Somehow, I’m always playing catch-up!

We are so proud of everything you have achieved and all that lies ahead. Best of luck at Fordham University. We look forward to hearing all about the incredible journey that awaits you.

We Will Miss You

Maddie,

It is hard to imagine Theatrics without you.

Over the years, you have brought so much energy, creativity, and heart to every production you’ve been a part of. Whether you were making us laugh with a bold character choice, supporting your castmates with a beautiful harmony, or stepping into multiple roles to help keep a show running smoothly, you always gave 100% of yourself to the process.

One of the things I admire most about you is your bravery as a performer. You have never been afraid to make big choices, take risks, and fully commit to the characters you portray. From Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast to Sven in Frozen, Jan in Grease, your many memorable moments in Shrek, and Vi Moore in Footloose, your performances have grown bigger, stronger, and more confident with each passing year.

You were an essential part of our Teenz for Totz program and your contributions will always be a part of its story.

One of my favorite things about you has nothing to do with a performance at all. For years, I accidentally spelled your name “Maddie” instead of “Maddy.” When I finally realized my mistake, you told me not to change it. Somehow, “Maddie” had become your Theatrics name—a special connection between you and this place. It may have started as a simple mistake, but it became something meaningful, and I will always smile when I think about it.

While we are excited for the opportunities that await you in Connecticut, we are heartbroken to see you go. Thank you for sharing your talent, your laughter, your bravery, and your wonderful spirit with all of us. We only wish we had more time.

Wherever your next chapter takes you, I know you will continue to grow, shine, and make an impact on everyone around you.

We will miss you beyond belief.

With Love -

Miss Sari

A Thank You note from Miss Sari

To Our Parents

Thank you for choosing Theatrics as part of your child’s theatrical journey. Whether this is your first season with us or your tenth, we are truly grateful that you have entrusted us with your children’s creative growth. Your support, encouragement, carpools, schedule juggling, costume gathering, and endless cheering—from the lobby window and now from the audience—make everything we do possible. Theatrics is more than a studio—it is a family, and we are so thankful that you are part of ours.

To Our Students

To every student who stepped into a rehearsal room this year—whether you are brand new to Theatrics or have been with us for many seasons—thank you. You are the reason we do what we do. Your talent, creativity, courage, laughter, and willingness to take risks inspire us every day. Watching you grow as performers and as people is the greatest reward imaginable. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us and for allowing us to be part of your journey.

To Our Assistant Teachers

Watching you grow from young students into confident leaders, teachers, and mentors has been one of the greatest joys of my career. You are proof of everything Theatrics hopes to achieve. Beyond helping us run classes, camps, rehearsals, and productions, you bring laughter, passion, kindness, and heart into every room you enter. Thank you for being role models for our younger students and for becoming such an important part of both Theatrics and my life. I couldn't be more proud or grateful.

To Our Staff

To the incredible staff of Theatrics: thank you for being the heartbeat of this organization. You are the teachers, directors, choreographers, problem-solvers, cheerleaders, and trusted friends who make the impossible possible every single day. Your creativity, dedication, patience, and sense of humor keep both Theatrics—and me—going. Every success we celebrate is built upon your hard work and commitment. Thank you for believing in our mission and helping create a place where young people can learn, grow, and shine.

To Theatre Three

A heartfelt thank you to the entire team at Theatre Three for opening your doors to Theatrics year after year. Your beautiful theatre provides our students with the opportunity to perform on a professional stage and create memories that will last a lifetime. We are especially grateful to the staff and crew who spend long days and late nights helping make our productions successful. Your guidance, expertise, patience, and support do not go unnoticed. Thank you for being such an important part of the Theatrics family and for helping our students bring their stories to life.

"It takes a village to raise a performer. To our families, students, assistant teachers, staff, and partners—thank you for helping make another incredible season possible." ðŸŽðŸ’œðŸ’›
