Director’s Note: Hello DGS and Crescent patrons,
It seems these days we find ourselves in what many call uncertain times due to both political and economic fluctuations. However, folks who deal or struggle with mental health issues can find themselves in a constant state of flux. Sadly, we still live in a world where mental health issues and conditions are either looked down upon or not taken as seriously as what one might call a physical health condition. Why is that? Is it the belief that it's all in your head or is it because other people can't see it? I chose this show to bring attention to the mental health struggles many people face. Sometimes silently, sometimes all alone, and sadder still, sometimes without proper help. November is Men's Mental Health awareness month which is another reason you find yourself reading this. To shed a light on an ever growing issue. Every 13 minutes a man loses his battle with mental health. This is a statistic we desperately need to change. Reach out to your friends and family, ask if they are okay, be the strength they might desperately need because their silence is deafening. Thank you for supporting this production because unbeknownst to you, you have helped make a difference.

Meet the Company
Will Coles
Will (Randle P. McMurphy) is thrilled to take on the wild and unpredictable role of Randle P. McMurphy. Will’s past stage credits include Simon (Jesus Christ Superstar), Sam Weinberg (A Few Good Men), Ensemble (Rent), and Professor Raymond Knowby (Evil Dead: The Musical). His screen work includes appearances in Strangers with Candy and Down to You.
Off stage, Will’s adventures are just as colorful — he once hung out with Stephen Colbert and shared a joint with Louise Lasser (and yes, those stories are just as good as they sound). A proud Montclair University alum, Will brings his trademark energy, wit, and fearlessness to the ward… and Nurse Ratched has officially been warned.
Jennifer Chase
Jennifer (Nurse Ratched) is delighted to don the uniform and take orderly command of the ward as Nurse Ratched. At Drama Geek Studios, Jennifer previously appeared as Lt. Cmdr. Joanne Galloway in A Few Good Men and as a Silly Girl in Beauty and the Beast. Her on-camera work includes a principal role in a Sam Adams Super Bowl commercial (still her favorite credit!) and “Gayle” in Deb & Joan, which is currently screening at national film festivals.
When she isn’t terrorizing patients or keeping chaos in line, Jennifer can be found baking the best scones you’ve ever had — and she means ever. She sends her heartfelt thanks to Mom, Dad, Steffi, and Tom for all their love and support.
Andre Vieira
Andre (Chief Bromden) is proud to bring the quiet strength of Chief Bromden to life in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. His past roles include Mr. Rogers (And Then There Were None), Lieutenant Lennox (Fright Night), Colonel Randolph (A Few Good Men), Tony Wendice (Dial M for Murder), Mr. Myers the Prosecutor (Witness for the Prosecution), and a Roman Soldier (Jesus Christ Superstar).
André would like to thank his loving family for their constant encouragement and support. Though he insists he hasn’t quite grown up yet, his passion for theatre and storytelling continues to grow with every production. He also sends a big shout-out to the director, cast, and crew for their hard work, camaraderie, and commitment — what a great team!
Harrison Cosentino
Harrison (Billy Bibbit) is thrilled to return to the Drama Geek Studios stage as Billy Bibbit after appearing in A Few Good Men. He’s also stepping into the film world, recently cast as a background extra in the upcoming prequel to the Friday the 13th franchise, Mama’s Boy. A proud student of LaGuardia Acting Class, Harrison is committed to honing his craft both on stage and on screen.
Dedicated to a lifelong pursuit of acting and film, Harrison brings vulnerability, humor, and heart to the role of Billy — a character who reminds us all how fragile and resilient the human spirit can be. He’s grateful to the Cuckoo’s Nest cast and crew for their support as he continues chasing his passion and living the dream, one performance at a time.
Drew Renaldo
Drew (Dale Harding) is thrilled to check himself into the ward for One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Over the years, Drew has taken on a wide range of roles — from the comedic, including Edna Turnblad (Hairspray), Mr. Krabs (The SpongeBob Musical), Mr. Wormwood (Matilda), and LeFou (Beauty and the Beast); to the serious, including Annas (Jesus Christ Superstar), Lt. Kendrick (A Few Good Men), and Jacob Marley (A Christmas Carol); to the downright weird, like the high-heeled chaos of Frank N. Furter (The Rocky Horror Picture Show, shadow cast).
When he’s not performing, Drew is a college professor, an ordained minister, and the writer/director of DGS's original adaptation of Alice in Wonderland. Drew can next be seen in DGS's upcoming production of A Christmas Carol, this time taking on the role of Mr. Fezziwig! He proudly dedicates this performance to the memories of his father, Robert, and his uncle, Barry — whose love, guidance, and sense of humor continue to inspire him, both on stage and in the asylum.
JW Rothchild
JW (Scanlon) is excited to return to the Crescent Theater after most recently appearing as Good Old Reliable Jake in Evil Dead: The Musical. A true stage veteran — and a proud Drama Geek Studios veteran — JW brings experience, commitment, and a sharp sense of humor to every production he joins.
He’s thrilled to dive into the controlled chaos of the ward as Scanlon and is grateful to the cast, crew, and creative team for another unforgettable theatrical adventure with the DGS family.
Lindsey Wah
Lindsey (Cheswick) is thrilled to bring her energy (and maybe a few screams) to the ward in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. For the past 10 years, Lindsey has worked as a scare actor, perfecting the art of terrifying audiences — which should make surviving the asylum a breeze.
She can next be seen in a performance at Sparta Avenue Stage in early January. Lindsey is excited to keep the momentum going and thanks the Cuckoo’s Nest cast and crew for keeping the madness both meaningful and fun.
Dave Bowden
Dave (Martini) is excited to return to the Drama Geek Studios stage for his second production. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Dave made his onstage debut this spring in A Few Good Men as the MP, where he also served as the show’s unofficial realism coordinator — a job he excelled at.
Now stepping into the ward as Martini, Dave is thrilled to share his humor with both the audience and his castmates. Known for keeping spirits high and laughter constant backstage, he’s grateful for the chance to bring that same energy to the stage.
Kevin W. Casey
Kevin (Ruckley) is thrilled to return to the Drama Geek Studios stage in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. His theatre credits include Home Alone, Guys and Dolls, The Addams Family, The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Light in the Piazza, The Little Mermaid, Hairspray, Jesus Christ Superstar, The SpongeBob Musical, and Evil Dead: The Musical. In high school, Kevin appeared in Peter Pan and sang in the choir — and he’s been performing ever since.
Outside of the theatre, Kevin is certified in Mental Health First Aid, CPR, and the Heimlich maneuver — making him the perfect person to have around when the patients of the ward start acting up. Whether on stage or off, Kevin is always ready to jump in, lend a hand, and keep the show (and everyone in it) alive and kicking.
Larry Darst
Larry (Dr. Spivey) is making only his second appearance on stage, after his debut as Lt. Jack Ross in A Few Good Men. This time, he trades the courtroom for the asylum, stepping into the role of the well-meaning but overwhelmed Dr. Spivey. Larry is thrilled to be part of this talented cast and to continue his theatrical journey with Drama Geek Studios.
He would like to dedicate this performance to his wife with the heartfelt message: “June, ti amo ogni maledetto giorno!”
Kayla D'Angelo
Kayla (Nurse Flinn & Sandy) is excited to bring both Nurse Flinn and Sandy to life in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. No stranger to the Drama Geek Studios stage, Kayla’s past roles include Mary Magdalene (Jesus Christ Superstar), Linda and Annie Knowby in multiple iterations of Evil Dead: The Musical, Penny Pingleton (Hairspray), and Ursula (The Little Mermaid).
Behind the scenes, Kayla has directed shadow cast performances of The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Repo! The Genetic Opera, and has performed in them as well — most notably taking on the iconic roles of Frank N. Furter and Blind Mag.
But Kayla’s greatest and most favorite role of all is that of mom, where the applause is endless and the spotlight is pure love. She’s grateful to the cast and crew for making this production such a meaningful and memorable experience.
Jon Lindenblad
Jon (Warren) is thrilled to join the cast of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. A familiar face to Drama Geek audiences, Jon has taken on a variety of leading and scene-stealing roles including Frankie (Forever Plaid), Stacee Jaxx (Rock of Ages), Gaston (Beauty and the Beast), and Vice Principal Panch (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee). He also played Corny Collins — and co–music directed — Hairspray, bringing energy both on and off the stage.
Jon is excited to dive into the organized chaos of the ward and is grateful to the Cuckoo’s Nest cast, crew, and creative team for keeping the insanity perfectly in tune.
Maddie DiDomenico
Maddie (Candie Starr) has been part of the Drama Geek Studios family for over 7 years and couldn’t be more excited to step into the wild world of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Her past credits include Waitress #1 (Rock of Ages), Columbia and Janet (The Rocky Horror Picture Show), Mark’s Mother and Ensemble (Rent), Pearl Krabs (The SpongeBob Musical), and both Shelly and Cheryl (Evil Dead: The Musical).
From comedy to camp to pure chaos, Maddie has done it all — and she can’t wait for the years (and roles) still to come. She’d like to thank the Drama Geek community for continuing to make every production feel like home… and promises to keep her time in the ward sweet. 🍬
Scott Dunkerley
Scott (Brian) is making his onstage debut in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest! Though new to performing, Scott is no stranger to the Drama Geek Studios family — he’s previously worked backstage on Hairspray, Jesus Christ Superstar, and The SpongeBob Musical, and even served as the usher for Evil Dead: The Musical.
After helping bring shows to life from behind the curtain, Scott caught the acting bug and is thrilled to be stepping into the spotlight. Audiences can next see him in Piece by Peace’s upcoming production of Shrek, where he’ll take the stage as everyone’s favorite little wooden liar, Pinocchio!
Dan Reed
Dan (Turkle) is a true stage veteran and is thrilled to bring the gruff charm of Turkle to the ward. His past credits span an impressive range of memorable roles, including Pilate (Jesus Christ Superstar), Maurice (Beauty and the Beast), Herr Kleinman (Rock of Ages), the Narrator/Mysterious Old Man (Into the Woods), and Col. Jessup (A Few Good Men).
A master of his craft both on stage and behind the curtain, Dan continues to be an essential part of the Drama Geek Studios family. He will take up the director’s chair for next month’s production of A Christmas Carol. With Dan around, the ward is in excellent (and experienced) hands — just don’t expect Turkle to keep perfect order.
Joshua Reed
Josh (Director) is the founder and fearless leader of Drama Geek Studios, where he has now directed, designed, and produced an incredible 72 productions (and counting). A true jack-of-all-trades, Josh not only takes the helm as director but also serves as lighting designer, sound designer, and set construction extraordinaire — often seen building, wiring, or programming long after everyone else has gone home.
With over a decade of dedication to creating meaningful, high-quality theatre, Josh continues to push the boundaries of community performance, crafting experiences that are as heartfelt as they are unforgettable. Whether it’s laughter, chills, or a standing ovation, Josh’s productions always leave audiences with something to remember.
Kelly Renaldo
Kelly (Stage Manager) has been a cornerstone of Drama Geek Studios since 2024, when she began her iconic reign as Stage Manager / Stage Mom to all. If something needs to be done, fixed, found, or photographed, Kelly’s already three steps ahead. She’s worn just about every backstage hat imaginable — from crew to mics to lights — and somehow still finds time to keep everyone sane (or at least close enough).
Though she’s only taken the stage once, appearing in the ensemble of Jesus Christ Superstar, Kelly’s fingerprints are on nearly every DGS production. She also serves as our in-house photographer and social media magician, ensuring the Drama Geek chaos always looks fabulous online. Simply put: without Kelly, the show doesn’t go on.
Kathy Reed
Kathy (Front of House Manager) is the first smiling face you see when you enter The Historic Crescent Theater — and the reason everything runs so smoothly once you’re inside. The heart and cornerstone of both the Crescent and Drama Geek Studios, Kathy keeps the chaos contained, the patrons happy, and the doors open for every performance.
Simply put: without Kathy, we’d be lost. She’s the calm before the curtain, the voice of reason amid the madness, and the friendly reminder that even in this ward… someone’s keeping things under control.
