Guy Ventoliere*

Guy Ventoliere* - Herm Palmer Guy Ventoliere* has been in theatre for over 30 years, performing in more than 120 productions across Broadway, Off-Broadway, and internationally. His roles have spanned classic and contemporary works, including John Proctor in The Crucible, Joe Bonaparte in Golden Boy, Lopakhin in The Cherry Orchard, and the title role in Larry Shue’s The Foreigner. Among his favorite Shakespearean roles are Romeo, Richard III, Benedick, and Sir Andrew Aguecheek, performed as part of his work in over 37 Shakespeare productions. He also produced and starred in Eugene O’Neill’s Plays of the Sea at the South Street Seaport, and most recently played the iconic role of Erie Smith in O’Neill’s Hughie. As a director, Guy has helmed more than 20 productions, including working with Academy Award nominee Gabourey Sidibe (“Precious”). Since transitioning to the screen in 2019, Guy has appeared in over 50 film and television projects, earning recognition for his work, including Best Actor at both the 2023 Top Shorts Film Festival and the 2023 International Motion Picture Awards. Early in his career, Guy worked for “Saturday Night Live” and was the lead in a short-lived Disney series “Cool Tool Adventures”. He works with several theatre companies throughout NYC. Guy also represented the United States at the International Theatre Competition in Poland. He studied with Eve Adamson (Jean Cocteau), Ruby Dee, and the Actor’s Studio. Alec Febbraro - Joe Palmer Alec Febbraro graduated from NYU Tisch with a major in drama and during this period studied various different styles of method acting as well as more modern approaches to performance. He has appeared in several independent films such as “Liminal” (Aaron, 2025) and “Smoke in Your Eyes” (Dan, 2025), as well as other NYC-based theater productions such as Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Brick, 2017) and Orphans (Treat, 2018).

Diogo de Oliveira - Paul Diogo de Oliveira is an NYC-based actor who is excited to make his off-off Broadway debut with Persephone Palmer Steps Out. Diogo is proud to mention that he recently graduated from the two-year professional acting program at William Esper Studio under the wise hands of Bruce McCarty. Elizabeth Sherman - Lisa Scott Elizabeth Sherman is delighted to be performing in “Persephone Palmer Steps Out”. Recent credits include GirlKing/GirlGenius with “Julia DiLorenzo/The Tank” and Revenge with Thom Woodley. She has recently (co-written, co-directed, and co-produced) the short film Intrusive, and before then the period piece Fior Di Fossa. Phil Oetiker

Phil Oetiker - Richard Scott Phil Oetiker brings nearly four decades of film industry expertise to his acting career. After graduating from NYU with a degree in Film, he established himself as one of New York's premier camera operators, working on the original "Law & Order" series and collaborating with acclaimed directors including Spike Lee on "Malcolm X" and "Jungle Fever." His impressive credits extend to productions with Ang Lee, John McTiernan, and Anthony Minghella, as well as popular series like "The Americans," "The Sopranos," and "FBI." Throughout his cinematography career, Phil observed the craft of acting while working alongside some of the industry's finest performers. Following training with Ron Piretti of the Barrow Group, Phil transitioned to acting, quickly accumulating roles in eleven theatrical productions ranging from Shakespeare to musical comedy. A former radio announcer, he maintains a parallel career in voice acting. Phil is currently seeking representation.

Caitlyn Waltermire

Playwright
Caitlyn Waltermire is a Kentuckian playwright/songwriter and MFA Playwriting candidate at UT Austin. She writes strange expansive pain-filled funny things with lots of women and 1960s references. Since 2017, her plays have been developed + produced at the Midtown Theatre Festival (“Outstanding Ensemble Award”, nominated for “Best Music”), Leeds Center for the Arts, Seat of our Pants Theatre (“Judges’ Pick” and “Best in Festival”), WUKY Radio (commissioned alongside new work by NYT best-selling author Silas House), Colorado New Musical Festival, Hickory Community Theatre (“Pamela Livingstone Outstanding Ensemble Script Award”), and Greenbrier Valley Theatre, West Virginia’s state professional theater. Persephone Palmer Steps Out will premiere in Theater for the New City’s 2025 summer season.

Natalie Thomas

Natalie Thomas is a Brooklyn-based Director & Theatermaker. She has worked on shows appearing at the Queens Short Play Festival (Finalist, The List), Curious Theatre Company, Theater for the New City, Curious New Voices Festival, The Public Theater (Lewiston, ME), and Visionbox Studio. She has trained under Jennifer McCray Rincón at Visionbox Studio and with the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Center. She received her BA in Theater Studies from Bennington College.

Alysia Homminga

Alysia Homminga [she/her] is a director, intimacy choreographer, and arts administrator based in Brooklyn. Select Directing Credits: Unloveable (American Theatre of Actors), The Memory Of (Fresh Fruit Festival), Moon School (The Tank), and PHARAOH (Associate Director, Theater for the New City). Select Intimacy Credits: Romeo & Juliet (Dir. Laura Livingston, Gallery Players), Catching Fireflies: A New Queer Musical (Dir. Flynn Faye, The Players Theater), and Girls Online (Dir. Maggie Dunn, The Tank). When she is not directing, she is proud to work with Murmuration Theater Company as their Administrative and Literary Associate and Expand the Canon/Hedgepig Ensemble as their Email Marketing Coordinator. Maren Prophit

Scenic Designer
Maren Prophit is a scenic designer, scenic artist, and painter based in Brooklyn. This summer, in addition to “Persephone Palmer Steps Out,” she is also serving as scenic designer for “Amistad”, an Opera by Anthony Davis for Harlem Opera. Other design endeavors include prop styling for publicity shots for "John Proctor is the Villain" on Broadway, and scenic painting for "Night Agent" on Netflix. Select theater design credits: Moon School (The Tank), The Revolutionists (Target Margin Theater), Until (Theater for the New City), and The Picher Project (Dixon Place). When she is not designing, she is studying animals through her art practice or through binoculars in Prospect Park.

Lauren Lee

Lighting Designer
Lauren Lee is a New York based freelance lighting designer for theatre, dance, and live events. Recent assisting credits include N/A at the Mitzi E Newhouse Theater (Mextly Couzin, LD), New Dances at Juilliard (Clifton Taylor, LD), and Anastasia at Bucks County Playhouse (Wheeler Moon, LD). Recent design credits include Measure for Measure and The Anatomy of Melancholy with The Eno River Players, and The Revolutionists at the Target Margin Theater. Lauren is a graduate from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a BFA in Lighting Design and Technology.

Wendy MacIver

Sound Designer
Wendy MacIver is a director, designer, and writer based in Brooklyn, NY, originally hailing proudly from Durham, North Carolina. She received her BA in Directing from Pace University’s International Performance Ensemble c/o 2024, and completed additional studies at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona (IAB). Recent credits include The Lacy Project (The Makers Ensemble), We Are Not The Change (The Tank: Moonlight Series), Holier Than Thou (Soho Playhouse: Lighthouse Series) and Girls Online (The Tank). She is also a founding member of Girl Dirty Theatre Company (@girldirtytheatre). In her free time, MacIver writes for her blog, "the strawberry festival is over", which can be found at wendymaciver.substack.com; an exercise in public secret (and the occasional movie recommendation). Janani Sreenivasan

Stage Manager
Janani Sreenivasan (she/her) is a self-taught theatre artist who recently stage managed In Absentia by Naomi Goodheart (dir. Sarah Shapiro at St. Lydia's). Janani previously directed and produced The Importance of Being Earnest, Much Ado About Nothing, and an Indian-dance-driven Midsummer Night's Dream at Under St. Marks Theater, as well as assorted one-acts for the Chain Theatre and The Tank's Rule of 7x7. The Bechdel Group staged and published her short play "Get Leo," which depicted her yearning for Leonardo DiCaprio to portray her onstage.
