Beverly is so excited to be working with Parkway Playhouse again this summer! She is a student currently studying Theatre at Marymount Manhattan College. Previous PPH credits include “Little Women” (Amy), “Matilda” (Ensemble), and “Annie” (Mrs. Pugh/Connie).

Jaye (they/she) is super excited to be in their first Mainstage production, and especially to be working alongside her dad! You may have seen them as Adam Maitland in Beetlejuice Jr. or Persephone in Hadestown, Teen Edition (if you haven't, that's fine too). Jaye likes all activities involving the outdoors, so why she likes theater is really a mystery. Enjoy the show, and tell a friend!

Lily X Bartleson is pleased to spend another summer with Parkway Playhouse! Her past productions with this company include Bonnie & Clyde, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Working: A Musical, The Red Velvet Cake War, Ordinary Days, Matilda: The Musical, and Arsenic and Old Lace, and Sister Act. She dedicates every moment on stage to her late mother.

Jonathan is delighted to be back at Parkway after last summer appearing as Dr. Gibbs in Our Town. Favorite roles include Estragon in Waiting for Godot, Sganarelle in Don Juan and Associate Artistic Director of Jean Cocteau Repertory in NYC. He currently works as a Physician Assistant at Mountain Medical Arts and doing Palliative Care with CCWNC. He is eternally grateful to his wife, Jenn, and can't believe he gets to share the boards with his daughter, Jaye (aka, Ted)!

Ronan Seeley

At eighteen years old, Ronan Seeley is a fresh young talent on the acting scene.

With multiple performances now under his belt, he began his acting journey as a Freshman in his theater class at Mountain Heritage. His gift for the stage was recognized early on and by his Senior year he had landed leading roles in such stage productions as, "One Stoplight Town" and "The Outsiders." He is currently enrolled at Western Carolina University where he intends to continue studying the Arts and film making.

Pasquale LaCorte - Smee

Pasquale LaCorte from the age of seven performed in a multitude of variety and musical shows, tap dancing and clowning before attending the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NY. Afterwards he appeared with the NJ Shakespeare Festival, The L'Amore Theatre Ensemble and several regional groups and showcases in the NY metropolitan area. Later, he owned and operated Café Cappuccino - a Jazz/comedy club/restaurant in Milburn, NJ.

Absent from the stage for over thirty-five years, Pasquale got back to the joy of theatre fourteen years ago appearing in over 50 productions mostly in Western North Carolina at ACT, NCStage, HART, SART, BMCPA, Magnetic Theatre, Diane Wortham Theatre, Parkway Playhouse, Flat Rock Playhouse, Players Circle Theatre as well as several dinner theatre venues. Most recent performances were Say Goodnight, Gracie (George Burns), An Act of God (GOD), A Christmas Story (Ralph), American Woodsman (Grandpa), Milestones & Moose Dancing (Frank), Recycled Nuts (Jerry/Kemp), Gratitoad (Gratitoad), Spamalot (Patsy), Inherit The Wind (Brady), Shawshank Redemption (Brooksie), I Hate Hamlet (Gary), Anything Goes (Moonface Martin), Men In Suits (The Boss), The White Chip (producer & director), and Sister Act (Monsignor O’Hara).

Benjamin Deyton - Prentiss

Ben Deyton lives in Bakersville, NC, and is currently a sophomore at Mayland Early College. He is excited to play the role of Prentiss in the production. Loving the atmosphere at Parkway Playhouse, Ben has recently been on stage in the productions of Hadestown (Worker), Beetlejuice (Ensemble), and SpongeBob (Ensemble). Thankful for the support and encouragement from his family, Ben looks forward to future productions at Parkway Playhouse. In his free time, Ben enjoys traveling and spending time with his nieces and nephew.

Galloway Stevens - Director

Galloway Stevens hails from the Pisgah Forest area of NC. He celebrates a 30+ years career in the arts including directing, choreography, and acting. Galloway feels blessed that his career has taken him all over this beautiful country and world, but Starcatcher is his first relationship with Parkway Playhouse, and he's already hoping he'll be invited to return to work with its incredible team again. Other directorial credits include, South Pacific, Moon Over Buffalo, Bright Star,  Avenue Q, The Odd Couple, Grease, Miracle On 34th Street (A Radio Play), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Steel Magnolias, The Andrews Brothers, and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats! Ariana is thrilled to be a part of the production of Peter and the Starcatcher. She is especially grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Galloway Stevens and has loved learning from his direction throughout this production. Ariana was most recently seen as Regina George in Mean Girls, the Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland, and a Fate in Hadestown. She would like to thank her Mom and Dad for their constant love and support, Melanie for always having her back, Amy for always stepping up, Mara for being someone she can count on, and Jace for always giving her rides and encouraging her. This is Jace’s third production at this theater, having previously appeared as Damian in Mean Girls Jr. and as a Worker/Ensemble member in Hadestown. He is grateful for the opportunity to perform alongside his brother for the first time ever.

I am a Potter and a Glass Blower, this is my first time ever in a play production. For 6 years I was apart of an improv comedy troup in college called Zoiks!.

I took on the role as Sanchez to help Mara fill in this specific position and figured it would be fun to appear as cameo for "Peter and the Star CATCHERS"

When he's not at the theater he enjoys dirtbiking & hanging out with friends.

I have had so much fun working with the cast and crew of Peter and the Starcatcher, I’ve been involved with Parkway Playhouse since I was six years old and am now an incoming senior at Mountain Heritage High school. Some of my theatre experience outside of parkway includes playing Matilda in Matilda the musical at Lees McRae Summer Theatre, and attending the Musical Theatre Summer Intensive at UNCSA last summer. When I’m not at the theatre I enjoy snowboarding at Sugar Mountain, working at Homeplace Hog Hollow, and playing tennis.

Glen Ellington (Captain Robert Falcon Scott) A proud FSU School of Theatre graduate, Glen taught middle and high school theatre for 30 years in Florida and Tennessee. Now gloriously retired, he has 3 published plays on christianpub.com and a children's book and first novel on Amazon. When not doing theatre, he enjoys fishing, writing , and playing the piano. He has also taught over 3,000 people to juggle.

Lila Herman (Ensemble)is a rising sophomore. She is thrilled to be in her first mainstage show. She has been working with Parkway Playhouse since 2024 and has been acting since 2022. Comedy is her passion. Someday she will learn timing -- until then it is just a tragedy.

(She/they) Mara is a technical theatre enthusiast and a North Carolina local. She graduated from McDaniel College in 2020 with a major in history and minors in theatre arts and Arabic. She has a wide range of theatrical experience including: stage management, lighting design, sound design, and live sound mixing. She enjoys working with our local theater artists and wants to ensure we showcase professional theater to our rural community. You recently saw her on stage as Cop #2 in Annie! She would like to thank her dog and cat for their emotional support. Live long and prosper.

After playing Curtis Jackson in Sister Act and "Daddy" Warbucks in Annie, and still performing in Parkway's Reading Is Alive children's theatre tour, Mike is honored to design the fight choreography for Peter & The Starcatcher alongside director Galloway. Having designed the fight choreo for 'Peter' in a production at UNCA some years ago (as well as playing Cap'n Slank and Hawking Clam), Mike hopes to inspire a new vision to the fights and stunts in this amazing production here at PPH. Onward, Starcatchers!

Rachel O'Reilly

Rachel O'Reilly is thrilled to work with Parkway Playhouse as the Music Director for Peter and the Starcatcher. An alumni of The University of North Carolina School of the Arts' vocal performance program, she has worked as a vocalist, voice teacher, and music director. Recent credits include Parkway Playhouse's Mean Girls Jr., Annie, and A Year with Frog and Toad Jr. 

Bethany Harper Forward

Bethany became involved with Parkway Playhouse, as the mom of a junior actor. She began volunteering as an usher and is now the Box Office Manager at PPH. She also made her musical & stage debut as Sophie & Bonnie Boylan in Parkway's production of Annie. When she's not at the theater she enjoys crocheting, sewing, playing guitar & spending time with her family & pets.
