Meet the Company

Connor McCracken

Alf
Connor McCracken - Alf This is Connors first ever production with Spot On! He has had the time of his life working with the company, and is greatly enjoying his time as Alf. Connor is attending Slippery Rock University in PA for his BFA in Acting, and is overjoyed at the opportunity to work with the company. Connor traveled from Pittsburgh, PA to partake in this production. He discovered Spot On through Hailey Rodgers, who he attends Slippery Rock with. She casually told him about the opportunity, and he jumped on it. He does not regret it! His favorite thing about developing his character was figuring out the differences in physicality between Narrator and Alf. As well as his change in demeanor when he’s talking to anybody who isn’t his brilliant co-star Nancy, who is playing Bumbrake. You can also catch Connors portrayal of The Baker in Into the Woods with RVJ Productions on August 7, 8, 9, 10! The show is performing through Parker Performing Arts.

Hailey Rodgers

Grempkin/Sanchez
Hailey Rodgers - Grempkin/Sanchez Hailey Rodgers is very excited to be taking part in this Production of Peter and the star catcher. She has been doing theater as long as she can remember, and is so excited to continue her theater education at Slippery Rock University with a BFA in acting. She has enjoyed doing roles such as Roz in 9 to 5! Maggie in a chorus line, Jane Doe in Ride The Cyclone, Rosie in Mama Mia!, chef Louis in the little mermaid, Ariel in footloose, and most recently US for Judy in A Curious Incident of the dog in the night time. You can see Hailey in a few weeks as The Witch in a Production of Into The Woods through RVJ productions! Hailey would like to thank CJ and Sammy for this opportunity, and her wonderful family for their support!

Ryan Bernstein (he/him)

Black Stache
Ryan Bernstein (he/him) - Black Stache Ryan is thrilled and honored to make his Spot On Theater debut and portray this notoriously iconic character we all love and hate! This is also Ryan's debut in the Denver theatre scene after moving from Ohio two years ago. Some of his favorite credits include: The Drowsy Chaperone (Robert), Young Frankenstein (Igor), Bare: A Pop Opera (Jason) and tick, tick...BOOM! (Jon Larson). All the love to his family and friends for their support (shoutout to Ashley for running lines!). And a huge thanks to Sammie and CJ for their incredible hard work and allowing him the opportunity to return to his passion; the stage. Break legs to this wonderful and loving cast and crew!

Ramsey James May

Prentiss
Ramsey James May - Prentiss Ramsey loved this show enough the first time he did it, that he’s back doing it again! Since previously playing Captain Scott in this show, he has played several British dudes, a few father figures, three serial killers, including the infamous Dracula. He now returns to play a role he has not done in a while: a teenager. Ramsey is a recent graduate of Regis Jesuit High School and will be studying film at DePaul starting in September. You WILL enjoy this show, hear my prophecy!

Bradie Chedid

Ted
This is Bradie’s 2nd Production with Spot On and her 20th show overall! She’s a senior in high school and is on her schools theatre council and a Co-captain for her improv team. She’s super excited for this show and hopes you enjoy!

Kensington Paugh

Captain Robert Falcon Scott & Hawking Clam
Kensington Paugh - Captain Robert Falcon Scott & Hawking Clam Kensington Paugh is proud to be performing in this summer stock program! She is currently a junior BFA Musical Theatre at Nebraska Wesleyan University. Her most recent shows include The Lightning Thief: A Percy Jackson Musical, I’m Gonna Marry You Tobey Maguire, Sesame: Life on the Streets, and Matilda: The Musical.

Lexi Wilson

Molly Aster
Lexi is thrilled to be back onstage ad Molly Aster after a too long break from the theatre world! Back in her acting days, she could be seen as Betsy in Clybourne Park, Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, and Charlotte in Moon Over Buffalo. Lexi also taught theatre and directed multiple shows. Currently, she works as part of the mental health team at a performing arts school. Lexi wants to thank the Spot On for giving her the chance to play a dream role and her friends for being a different sort of family that understands things are only worth what you’re willing to give up for them!

Jimmy Kreuz

Lord Leonard Aster
Jimmy Kreuz - Lord Leonard Aster This is Jimmy’s 4th community theatre show in 10 years and 1st since moving to Denver from Ohio! In his free time, he enjoys doing all sorts of outdoorsy activities, boardgames, cooking, learning, reading and performing improv comedy. Enjoy the show!

Julia Nurenberg

Fighting Prawn
Julia Nurenberg - Fighting Prawn Julia Nurenberg has had a blast working with this Peter and the Starcatcher! Julia is a performer all the way from Michigan. Julia has been in many different productions, some of her favorite shows include: District Merchants (Jessica): The Acting Ensemble, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Veruca Salt): South Bend Civic Theatre, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (Punk Girl): Slippery Rock University, and West Side Story (Anybodys):Morris Performing Arts Center. Julia is dedicated to continuing growing and she is happy to have found a place at Slippery Rock University where she is an Acting BFA major! She is grateful for all the love and support, she could not have come as far as she has without it.

Gabe Legg

Smee
Gabe Legg - Smee Gabe is so excited to return to Spot On once again as a performer for their first community play. When not acting on stage, you can find Gabe producing his own written shows, or performing sketch/improv comedy. Gabe is so glad to have you here to support this new program at Spot On, and he hopes you enjoy the show!

Nancy Tran

Mrs. Bumbrake
Nancy (she/her) is thrilled to be in her first show with Spot On Theatre! She is thankful for the directors and everyone involved in the show for their positivity and faith in her. She would also like to thank Buddy for being the best boy, as well as Joy, John, and her partner Brian for their support. If anyone is hiring within a fine arts or nonprofit organization, please reach out to her.

Jonathan Legg

Bill Slank
Jonathan is returning to the stage after a fair while (he’s old….) and is grateful to do it with the premiere of Spot On Theatre's Community Summer Stock. He would like to thank Sammie, CJ, cast, musicians, and crew for all of their hard work and dedication. Welcome aboard, ye scurvy bunch of theatergoers! Enjoy the chaos. Arg!

Kristine Castagnaro

Mack/Teacher
Kristine Castagnaro - Mack/Teacher This is Kristine’s on stage debut, but early fans may have seen her rock out playing 3rd clarinet in her high school’s marching band! She is an avid pickleball player and crystal lover with a passion for international travel. On any other day, Kristine is the COO of Western States Cancer Research NCORP, but today she will be donning a pirate hat and mermaid tail for you all! She’d like to thank the incredible cast and crew for their patience and help (it’s harder than it looks) and her daughter Zaffy for writing this brilliant bio. Hope you all enjoy the show!

Zaffy Castagnaro

Boy/Peter
When Zaffy was cast in this show, her first question was “can I wear a wig?!”. She later learned that wigs are hot and itchy.

Carolyn Jordan

Director
Carolyn is THRILLED to do the things.

Sammie Legg
