A Note from the Directors
Matt and I are so grateful to every person involved with this show. You have all embraced the true spirit of the Puffs. No, not the forgetfulness or awkwardness. The kindness. The generosity. The passion. The friendship. We are so honored to have worked with such a lovely group of people to bring this production to life, and we’d like to take a moment to properly thank them.
When casting this show, we were looking for talented, dynamic performers that could handle the original doubling of characters as written in the script. It was a daunting task, especially with it being the first show Matt and I had ever directed. However, even from the first night of auditions, we had no doubt that this cast was going to be spectacular. They have jumped at every opportunity to do more, every chance to rework a scene, every moment to make the show their own. The characters you see on stage are the product of the diligence and dedication demonstrated by every single member of this cast. Thank you to every one of our actors for working so hard and caring so much. It truly means the world to us, and we hope you know just how much we appreciate all of you.
We could not have put on this production without all of the assistance we received from the magnificent people in our J-DAPA family.
To Ashley, our Deputy Headmistress and Stage Manager, thank you for supporting us from the beginning. Your enthusiasm and constant support were driving forces behind this show, and we couldn’t be more grateful for all of your brilliant suggestions and sanity checks.
To Paul, thank you so much for making our vision come to life with those amazing columns. We could never thank you enough for your continuous kindness and generosity – and talent!
To Mat Ancone, what would we have done without you? You made our wildest dreams for this set come true (and then some!). It takes a special kind of person to spend their free time doing so much for others. Your passion and artistry are their own kind of real-world magic. Thank you for creating such a beautiful set, and for being such an incredible person to have on our team.
To Ava and Ella on our crew, you should both be so proud! Thank you for being so open to learning new things and helping us with all aspects of this production. We hope that you continue your theatrical pursuits, whether they are in the tech booth or out on stage!
To Charity, Brieanna, Aubrey, and Ron, thank you for always being ready to help. Your support never goes unnoticed.
And to Donna, thank you for all your wisdom and guidance. Directing a show is no small feat, and we are so grateful that we had you to support us along the way. Thank you for giving us this amazing opportunity, and for always believing in us.
To our audience, we hope you feel the bond between our cast and crew members that we saw every rehearsal. We hope you see the passion and dedication of Mat and Paul, our set builders. We hope you sense the kindness and spirit of friendship that envelopes this production like a cozy Puff hug. And to all our amazing Puffs – we hope you know that love truly is the greatest magic there is, and that you have proven this to us time and time again.
With love,
Serena and Matt

"I’d like to thank everyone in our extremely talented cast and crew who made me feel welcome and included despite joining the production later on."
Robert Simoneau
HIIII!!! Robert is so excited to play Oliver. This is his first non-musical stage performance since college and he’s glad it is in a show as amazing as Puffs. He played J Finch et. al in a previous production, so getting the chance to see the show from a completely different perspective is a great experience and challenge. He hopes you enjoy the show as much as he does! "Jared, thank you so much for inspiring me to do this show again! You mean the world to me!"

"Stephen would like to dedicate this performance to his former Jr Stage students. Shout out to RS, AH, AS, KP, and the Bryant Players, for their inspiration and support of his participation in this show. Enjoy!"
Allison Hall
If you had told 13-year-old Allison that she would be in this magical show, she probably would have been pissed that Luna doesn’t make an appearance. But once she got over that, she’d be over the moon! Allison has been performing at community theaters in both Rhode Island and Connecticut for 14 years now, and is attending Rhode Island College as a musical theatre major this fall. "Allison would like to thank her fellow Puffs for never failing to make her laugh, and Serena and Matt for bringing the magic to life!"

Janessa Ortiz is excited to portray Sally Perks in Puffs! She is drawn to the show’s unique blend of humor, magic, and heart, and is thrilled to be part of a story that highlights the unsung heroes.
