DIRECTORS NOTE

Don’t dream it, be it. Love it. Talk dirty to it. This is a show about freedom, recklessness, overindulgence, and love. It is a rock-n-roll love letter to the inner freak in all of us. This production has been such a joy. Every single member of the cast and crew has brought energy, creativity, and several dirty jokes. We are making our own version of Rocky, built on the delicious past productions that we have seen, been in, or heard about. I first experienced this story when I was taken to a midnight showing of the classic film by my older brother. My mind exploded. I learned the Time Warp, the shout outs, and the pure joy of being part of the Rocky Universe. Soon, I learned that each showing was different, each crowd its own entity. In that sense, we are all Rocky Virgins at each performance, experiencing it for the first time. So let go of any fears, suppositions, and preconceived ideas of what should be, and revel with us as we join Brad and Janet on a night we will all remember, for a long, long time.

A Denver native, Andy has most recently been seen as Emmett in Legally Blonde (Sasquatch Productions), as a company member of Stonewall (Benchmark Theatre), Rapunzel’s Prince in Into the Woods (Breckenridge Backstage Theatre) and Luke Skywalker in Star Wars Shakespeare (Fan Expo Denver). Drew Bradley

Eddie
Drew Bradley - Eddie Born in 1835 in St. Francisville, Louisiana, Drew Bradley was a 19th-century polymath known for his acting, poetry, and civil engineering. His stage performances were acclaimed for their intensity, while his poetry, marked by its raw edge, was often criticized by academics. In engineering, Bradley designed the Deathspire Bridge and the Grimsaken Tower, both renowned for their striking yet foreboding presence. His life ended tragically in 1883 under mysterious circumstances, with rumors of foul play tied to a contentious project. Despite the controversy, Bradley’s contributions to the arts and engineering left a lasting impact.
