Director’s Message

It has been my privilege to direct the first show back on the main stage at the River Run since our return to more normal times. This show was first planned for the Fall of 2020, so here we are better late than never.

I want to commend the cast and crew for all their hard work since September, as all our rehearsals have been fully masked for everyone’s health and safety and to ensure we were able to have a full cast on stage. It is a pleasure to see them perform for you with their happy and smiling faces on full show.

On behalf of the whole team behind the scenes, we hope you enjoy “Matilda the Musical”.

Jane Martin

Director, Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical

Message from the Board

Daring to dream of a better life, we can use the power of imagination to inspire us to change our destiny! We are beyond excited to present "Matilda the Musical", the story of an extraordinary girl who takes a stand to find the life she deserves. Much like Matilda herself, this cast and crew are extraordinary, and they have worked hard through many challenges to bring you into this imaginative world.

Our sincere thanks to you for your continued support of RCMPI as none of this would be possible without our patrons.

As a completely volunteer run organization, RCMPI wouldn't exist without the numerous hours volunteers give to bring a show to the stage. Thank you to everyone on stage and behind the scenes for giving your time, talent and energy.

I encourage you to support our fundraising raffle as these efforts assist us with our expenses for our storage space for costumes, scenery, and props.

We thank you for filling the theatre for this performance with your applause and laughter.

Jen Barson

President, Royal City Musical Productions Inc.

Please Note

Some roles are double cast.

The Red Team cast will perform their roles on Wednesday Night, Friday Night, and Saturday Matinee.
