A Note From the Director
Welcome to Grace Theatre Guild’s Fall 2025 Mainstage Production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella!
This musical means a lot to me personally which is why I asked the board to entrust me with this year’s production despite never having directed before at that point two years ago. Since that decision, I have directed several student-lead endeavors at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor before graduation this past May, but this remains my full-production directorial debut. It is a meaningful story to me because at the heart of the show is a longing for community and a wonder at the magic to be found in everyday simplicities that so often get overlooked.
One of the continual threads between versions of this story from the very earliest tellings before collective memory is the heartfelt message of the power of kindness as well as the magic to be found in community. Not magic in the sparkling pumpkin carriage sense but the way that people come together to share a meal, as we just experienced this weekend, or help each other when we are faced with the impossible. This is a principle consistent with the Gospel and Jesus’s description of His Kingdom which Christians are to embody on Earth. I pray that you take away from this production the encouragement to be courageously selfless in order to foster the Love of God between His image bearers. That is what makes a “true friend,” as Ella and Topher say.
Please enjoy this moment where we can suspend our disbelief and let ourselves enter a world where fairy godmothers appear to impart wisdom and true love at first sight is a fact of existence felt in the simple touch of a hand.
Thank you for coming!

Meet the Company
Emily Emilius
Emily has felt so blessed to be a part of this production! Cinderella is her second show with Grace Theatre Guild, and her tenth show overall. This is also her very first main role! Emily is passionate about singing and storytelling, and she hopes that passion is evident in her performance as Ella. She hopes you enjoy the show! God bless!
Taylor Lueckenotte
Taylor is excited to be working with the Grace Theatre Guild for the first time in such an iconic show. Some highlights from previous shows include Shakespeare in Shakespeare in Love, Nigel in Something Rotten, Gabe in Next to Normal, Buddy in Elf the Musical, and Robbie Hart in the Wedding Singer. When not on stage, he works as the Development Director for Room Redux, a local non-profit transforming the rooms and lives of children who have suffered from abuse. He’d like to thank his amazing parents and his wonderful partner Grace for their unending support.
Martha Hurley
Martha Hurley is so thankful to have stumbled across this audition notice just when it looked like 2025 would be a year without a musical (that’s only happened once in the past twenty years)! Recent credits include Seussical (Birchwood) and A Christmas Carol (Georgetown Palace); select favorites include Mamma Mia, 42nd Street, and Shrek the Musical. Offstage Martha is a licensed professional engineer, an active member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, and a competitive figure skater. Extra special thanks to the production team for the opportunity to play her first leading role. Have a lovely night!
Tyler Spillmann
Hailing from Lockhart, Texas. Tyler is excited to be making his debut with the fine folk here at Grace Theater Guild! The 4-Time Austin BroadwayWorld award winning actor endeavors to manifest diva energy and to uphold the three tenets of Gen Z women and gaslight, gatekeep, and girlboss as Lord Sebastian all performance long. Some of his favorite roles of recent has been performing "Rainbow Connection" as the Muppets (all of them), being the MC for a Vaudeville show, and being Alysen Sherburne's dad in a musical called 'Something Rotten'.
Hannah Anway
Hannah Anway is a professional singer, director, and vocal instructor from the Austin area. After graduating with a BM in Musical Theatre, she worked in the DFW metroplex with the North Texas Performing Arts and Dallas Symphony Chorus. She recently returned to the Austin area to serve St. Mary’s Catholic School as their Music Director. Past stage credits include The Sound of Music, Gianni Schicchi, Little Women, and Scrooge, and she is a founding member of The Grace Theatre Guild. She would like to thank her husband for his constant support, love, and care through every crazy endeavor. Gloria Deo.
Grace Beene
Grace Beene (Gabrielle) couldn’t be happier to perform in Cinderella! Freshly back from Lubbock, this is her first (and hopefully not last) show with the Grace Theater Guild and first show not connected to a school project! She previously appeared as Jo in Little Women and Miss Jennings in Sense and Sensibility, both UIL One Act Plays at Salado High School. She doesn't entirely know what else to put in here, so she wants to thank her friends, family, the cast, crew, and remind everyone to silence their phones before the show :)
Taryn Pearson
Taryn Pearson, Now Majoring in Musical theater. She has done many shows in the past but has stated her top three had to be HadesTown as Persephone, Arsenic and Old Lace as Einstein, and Big Love as Bella. She has played many roles so much as once a clock in the 10th grade, to now a step sister ready to snag herself a man if it becomes convenient.
Beau Ball
Beau Ball walked in off the street one day right when we were wondering who can play this role?
He claims to be an actor, a writer, a barista, and a student. These are all unverified and he may or may not secretly be a runaway miner from West Virginia. We have seen him in paintings from the 1400's, so his claims of living around Austin since 2017 is also possibly fabricated. We never know what he does next.
Daniel Martin
Daniel Martin has been acting with the Grace Theatre Guild since its conception, and is happy to act once more in Cinderella! His past roles with the Guild include Horton in Suessical and Cyrano in Cyrano de Bergerac. He has also performed in several fundraisers. He is a Drama teacher with Valor at North Austin, and dearly loves performing and teaching theater. In his very minimal downtime, he often enjoys composing and arranging music, as well as game development. He is very excited to play the role of the town crier. If nobody else is willing crying, Dan will do it for you.
Colleen Kinney
Colleen Kinney is an 8th grade student at St. Mary’s School in Taylor. This is Colleen’s third performance in Grace Theater Guild, after Seussical and The Little Mermaid. Colleen has been dancing and tumbling since she was able to walk. She enjoys dancing and music, and is very influenced by her older sister who also did theater and dance. Theater has been a huge part of her family her whole life, and she wants to perform for as long as possible.
Penny Solórzano-Denney
Penny is fourteen years old and is probably helping a small child with technical difficulties while you read this. Debuting as the Elephant-Bird in Seussical at the ripe age of four, Penny “stole the show”. After this, she continued her musical career. Some highlights include any one of her three Seussicals, including the previously mentioned, in which she was a Cadet and the Young Sour Kangaroo. She also loved being Ariel in The Little Mermaid Jr.! Penny hopes that you have an impossibly wonderful time at the show and that you DO NOT get up to ANY tomfoolery or mischief whatsoever.
Annie Elequin
Annie is thrilled to be participating in her first official Grace Theatre Guild production. She hasn’t done much theater but has been having a blast with Cinderella! She plans to take more voice lessons from her beautiful friend Hannah Anway, and she’s grateful to Hailey for directing this magical production and to the entire Grace team for creating a warm, welcoming community. When off-stage, she loves 3D printing and crafting, as well as training her two dogs Brodie and Fable in agility and dog dancing. She hopes you enjoy watching all of her talented castmates in the show!
Bronwyn Howe
Bronwyn is thrilled to be a part of the ensemble in cinderella the musical! she is currently attending ACC and starts the nursing program in January. In her free time she likes to work, bake, shop, and hangout with friends. She would like to thank her family for their support, especially her sister Arabelle!! She hopes you enjoy the show:)
Gianna Kinney
Gianna is thirteen years old and Cinderella is her third show with Grace Theatre Guild. She plays basketball, guitar, ukulele, and is learning violin, viola, and cello. She also loves animals and anything purple. Some of her other hobbies are painting, knitting, and crocheting. Her past characters with Grace were Sebastian in The Little Mermaid Jr. and Jo Jo in Seussical. She is really excited to keep performing with Grace!
Juliet Solórzano
Juliette is a dashing rogue who auditioned for this show not knowing it was a full-blown musical. Her favorite pastimes are clapping when the airplane lands, blending into large crowds, sabotaging parmesan packets with granulated garlic at pizza restaurants, and lollygagging. Juliette would like to thank the production team for casting her, and not asking her too many questions about what she was doing on the U.S.S. John McCain on August 21st, 2017.
Kathrine Knapek
Katherine is making her debut theater appearance as a member of the ensemble for Cinderella, and is absolutely on edge with nervous-excitement! She has always had an interest in performing arts, and after enjoying helping out with the guild's production of The Little Mermaid Jr, she couldn't wait to join Cinderella! As a mother of 3, life gets busy, but in her free time she enjoys cinema, sci-fi, games, various geekery, and drawing- but her biggest passion is music! She thanks her friends for their love and support, and dedicates her performance to her father, may he rest in peace.
Katrina Kinney
Katrina is super excited to step onto the stage and join the ensemble as an older woman and a duchess. Though she is fairly new to being in front of the curtains, she has had a hand in costumes and stage managing in other productions. This would all be impossible without the support of Katrina’s husband Kevin and her kids: Michelle, Chris, and Alex. She hopes you have a ball with Cinderella!
Mandy Hutchings
Mandy Hutchings has always had a deep love for storytelling through theater and film. She’s thrilled to bring that creativity and passion to the stage in this production of Cinderella. In her free time, Mandy enjoys cosplaying and creating her own props, combining her love of craftsmanship and performance. She’s incredibly excited to be part of such a talented cast and to help bring this magical story to life.

Since graduating from the University of Texas at Austin she has continued acting with GTG (Cyrano de Bergerac), Druid and Bard (Pride and Prejudice) and at the Georgetown Palace Theater (Holiday Inn). She’s enjoyed exploring stage management as children’s director for Helping Hornz, and tech crew and assistant stage manager for Georgetown Palace Theatre (Cinderella, Jekyll and Hyde). In between theater projects she enjoys spending time with her family, sewing, and exploring libraries.
Monica Testa
Monica Testa is 11 years old and is very happy to be performing as one of the Village Children in Grace Theatre Guild’s production of Cinderella. At the age of 7, Monica performed as a bumble bee in her first musical, Mary Poppins Jr. Since then, she has performed in Seussical the Musical, Beauty and the Beast Jr. and as Flounder in the LIttle Mermaid Jr. Monica has been dancing since she was two. Over the past nine years she has enjoyed taking ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary classes. Monica has also enjoyed singing in her school and Church choir.
Nicolett Mejia
Nicolett is thrilled to make her debut with the Grace Theatre Guild in this enchanting production of Cinderella! With a love for music and a passion for the stage, she brings her boundless enthusiasm to the ensemble. While she may be new to the professional theatre world after leaving school, she's no stranger to following her dreams. She would like to thank everyone who has believed in her and encouraged her to shine.

She learned her love of dance while watching her siblings dance and have fun.
Rosemary Smith
Rosemary is a driven young lady who likes to dabble in everything. She prides herself in her diverse interests, from bull-riding to crochet, and more! She has a passion for art, and spends much of her freetime painting landscapes and abstract concepts. This isn't Rosemary's first rodeo, she joined Grace Theater Guild for their production of The Little Mermaid Jr., appearing as one of the Mersisters! In that production, she found her new passion for theater, and she didn't hesitate to join Cinderella! She is ecstatic to be here, and hopes you all enjoy the show!
