Follow Us:

Welcome to San Benito Stage Company’s summer family production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! There is something incredibly special about our summer family show. It brings together people of all ages—on stage, behind the scenes, and in the audience—to create something magical for Hollister. Gathering here in the high school auditorium reminds us of the power of community and the shared experiences that connect us all. An undertaking of this size is only possible through an immense amount of love and hard work. To our brilliant cast: your dedication and energy bring this magical story to life. To our tireless volunteers, parents, and crew: you are the engine that makes this company run, working tirelessly to ensure the magic happens seamlessly. And to you, our audience: thank you for stepping out to support local non-profit theater. Your presence in these seats is what keeps the performing arts alive and well in San Benito County. I hold a deep conviction that theater makes a profound difference in the lives of everyone involved. It provides a space where performers discover their potential, volunteers find a dedicated community, and audiences are given a chance to laugh, reflect, and wonder together. I don’t just believe this—I know it to be true because theater has deeply impacted and changed my own life. Seeing that same transformation happen for our cast and community is the greatest reward of this work. Thank you for joining us for this sweet adventure. Grab your golden ticket, sit back, and enjoy the show! With gratitude, Zac Isom President, Board of Directors San Benito Stage Company

Zac Isom

Director
Zac Isom - Director

Zac Isom is deeply honored to return to the director's chair for the Stage Company’s production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. This marks his second directorial venture with the company, following last fall’s teen production of Beetlejuice Jr. While directing is a newer chapter, Zac has been a fixture at the Stage Company for decades, contributing across nearly every department as a pit orchestra member, tech crew member, stage manager, vocal director, and actor. He is incredibly grateful for the Stage Company's continued trust and is thrilled to share this sweet, magical journey with you tonight!
