Meet the Company

Katy Clay

Cookie Cusack
Katy Clay - Cookie Cusack Katy is passionate about family, cooking and theater; she sings and plays guitar and accordion Theater-wise, she was involved in thirty productions from Jr/Sr high school to Carleton College and the University of Minnesota, (acting, directing and makeup) and in the late 1970s did stints with the Chicago Premier Society (e.g. playing a piece of cheese and the Red Duchess in “The Loneliest Monster” and Blind Bertha in “Cricket on the Hearth”); with Oregon Repertory Theater in Eugene, Oregon in the early 1980s, (Barbara Allen in “Dark of the Moon”). In the last 10 years, she played Isabelle (“Expecting Isabelle”) and the Clown (“Pagliacci Justice”) in Shippensburg productions, and most recently, Eleanor of Aquitaine in “Lion in Winter” (Little Theater of Mechanicsburg), Penny Sycamore in “You Can’t Take It with You!” and Ann Putnam in “The Crucible” (Carlisle Theater). Delighted to play with you folks again, dear friends!

April Denise Cuffley

Officer Pudney
April Denise Cuffley - Officer Pudney April excitedly and enthusiastically returns for her third production with Players on High having performed as Mother, Raucous Lady and Ghost of Future 4 in A Steampunk Christmas Carol (2022) and Mrs. Winthrop, Ensemble and voice of Ayah in The Secret Garden. She studied Music Education and Performance at York College of Pennsylvania between 1997 and 2004. April is a 1996 graduate of South Western High School in Hanover, PA where she was heavily involved with the Thespian Society, various theatrical productions, orchestra (violin) and choir. She has sung and danced as an ensemble member in various theatrical and musical productions, her favorite being Brigadoon. April sends out a special "thank you" to her family and friends for their life-long support and encouragement of her in theater, music and dance. She is also grateful for all the encouragement, support and knowledge instilled in her from all the music and theater instructors, cast members and crew members she has worked with over the years and especially most recently here at the Carlisle Theatre. Tonight, she portrays Officer Pudney in this production of Rumors.

Janelle French

Claire Ganz
Janelle French - Claire Ganz Janelle French is delighted to return to the Carlisle Theatre stage as Claire Ganz. Her previous roles include Miss Scarlet in “Clue,” Mrs. Cratchit in “A Steampunk Christmas Carol”,” and Gay Wellington in “You Can’t Take It with You.” Janelle is grateful to the talented cast and crew for their dedication to making “Rumors” come alive. Special thanks go out to her husband, Tim, and her children, Gabe and Max, for their continued support of her theatrical passions. When not on stage, Janelle can be found reading, hiking, paddleboarding, and making hats as The Mystical Milliner in Carlisle.

Margie Fry

Cassie Cooper
Margie Fry - Cassie Cooper A native of Newville, this is her 4th main-stage performance with Players on High. She has also had the pleasure of performing in 2 original murder mystery productions with Players on High. Margie has always valued the arts and is pleased to be a part of this wonderful cast.

Kelli Kauterman

Chris Gorman
Kelli Kauterman - Chris Gorman Rumors marks Kelli’s debut with Players on High. Gamut Theatre Group credits include Richard III (Duchess of York); Our Town (Myrtle Webb); As She Likes It – “The Nurse’s Rebellion” (Nurse); Tartuffe (director); All’s Well That Ends Well (Countess of Rousillion); Lysistrata (Ismene/Chorus). Open Stage credits include Treasure Island (Silent Sue); Little Women (Marmee); Bill W. and Dr. Bob (Lois Wilson); In the Next Room (Annie), and The Guys (Joan). Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble credits: Our Town (Julia Gibbs); A Child’s Christmas in Wales (Flo Thomas). Theatre Harrisburg credits include: Now and Then (director); Doubt (director); Steel Magnolias (M’Lynn Eatenton); and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Mae Pollitt). Penn State Harrisburg: Spring Awakening (Adult Women). She thanks all the great people at Players on High.

Dave Lang

Glenn Cooper
Dave Lang - Glenn Cooper Dave Lang (Glenn Cooper) is thrilled to be a part of this wonderful ensemble cast. This is his 14th production at Carlisle Theatre and his 57th production overall. Dave has also performed locally at Hershey Area Playhouse, Upstart Arts, Forge Theater, Gettysburg Community Theater, The Micro Theatre at Broadway Tavern, and Lebanon Community Theater. He enjoys competitive ping-pong and is an avid board gamer. Dave studies vocal performance at Roger Lentz Studio.

Brad Mitchell

Ernie Cusack
Brad Mitchell - Ernie Cusack Brad Mitchell (Ernie Cusack) is delighted to make his second appearance with Players on High since being re-bitten by the acting bug after a long hiatus since his college days. He portrayed Giles Corey in “The Crucible” earlier in the 23/24 season. As a retired project management professional, Brad appreciates team POH’s dedication to excellence in executing these “projects” of live performance.

Steven Filer Munley

Lenny Ganz
Steven Filer Munley - Lenny Ganz Steven Filer Munley (Lenny Ganz), a recent Pennsylvania transplant, is appearing in his first Players on High production, after a nearly three-decade absence from the stage. He is honored to be working with such a vibrant and talented cast of actors. He has worked as an actor, singer, dancer, musician, and director, but this was a few presidents ago. He is re-embracing his artistic pursuits, studying vocal performance at Roger Lentz Studio, and hoping to appear in future productions. He would like to thank his family and friends, old and new, near and far, for their continuing support as he dips a toe back in these waters, and offers deep gratitude to his past and present teachers and mentors.

Rick Sollman

Ken Gorman
Rick Sollman - Ken Gorman Rick wants to first thank his very patient wife and kids for their love and support over the past year. He is extremely excited to be playing Ken Gorman in Rumors after performing in many Players on High productions, including Steampunk Christmas Carol, You Can’t Take it with You, Urinetown, Dying for a Slice, and The Crucible. When he’s not trying to cover for Charley on stage, Rick teaches World History at Carlisle High School.

Jeremy Tuttle

Officer Welch
Jeremy Tuttle - Officer Welch Jeremy Tuttle (Officer Welch) takes his duty to this show and cast seriously. He won't take no funny business during his 19th production. He recently brought justice to multiple roles in One Christmas Eve... at the Little Theater Mechanicsburg. When he's not preventing crime on stage, you can catch him walking his mini poodle, Ophelia, with his (life)partner, Emma.

Benjamin E. Greenberg

Director
Benjamin E. Greenberg - Director Benjamin Greenberg is thrilled to direct Rumors. He co-directed You Can’t Take It With You last year with Ashley Byerts. He previously directed The Informer by Bertolt Brecht and assistant directed Tracks by Peter Tarsi, both at Shippensburg University. He wrote the short play Pagliacci Justice which was selected for the first HACC New Works Festival and nominated for the Broadway World Award for Best Play. It has been produced twice more since. He has worked on every mainstage show for Players on High since it reopened after Covid. He designed the projections for A Steampunk Christmas Carol, Sleepy Hollow, and The Secret Garden. He has appeared on this stage as Bob Cratchit, Mr. Green, Dr. Sanderson, and Judge Hathorne. He also played Geoffrey in The Lion in Winter at Little Theatre of Mechanicsburg. He has his Bachelor of Science in Education with minors in theatre and math from Ship. He is currently pursuing an AFA in Film and Theatre at HACC where he is working behind the scenes on several short films. You can find out more at www.benjamin-greenberg.com.

Dan Dicker

Stage Manager
Dan Dicker - Stage Manager Dan Dicker (Stage Manager) started his Carlisle Theatre journey in December of 2022 with A Steampunk Christmas Carol on the Projections Team and is privileged to have been a part of each Mainstage production since then. These roles include Assistant Stage Manager for You Can't Take It With You, Co-Stage Manager for Urinetown, Stage Manager For The Crucible, and Stage Manager for A Steampunk Christmas Carol (2023). Dan also hosts a Weekly Radio show "The Crossroads" on WDCV 88.3 FM on Thursdays at 10 PM. He also had the privilege of Directing his original Murder Mystery Dying For A Slice earlier this year and looks forward to bringing more original works to the stage this fall.

Patience Oliveira

Assistant Stage Manager
Patience Oliveira - Assistant Stage Manager Patience Oliveira is a current junior at Carlisle High School and has been with Players On High as a volunteer since 2019. She has acted on stage previously in a production of Legally Blonde Jr as Brooke Wyndham and has been involved in many a show backstage with POH including Assistant stage managing for the 2022 production of a Steampunk Christmas Carol. She is very grateful for the opportunities presented to her in the Carlisle Theatre’s wonderful community.

Catie M.O.

Comedy Consultant
Catie M.O. - Comedy Consultant Catie Mo has been involved with community theatre for over 40 years and enjoys supporting the creative teams both on-stage and behind the scenes. She helms Players on High’s Comedy Murder Mysteries as well as writes short comedy mystery sketches and improvs. She enjoys working with novices and veterans, especially as a coach. She serves as POH’s Resident Stage Manager, runs the SM Intern program, and serves as the primary set dresser. She’d like to send a special thank you to Ashley Shade for providing her opportunities to explore new works, her fellow volunteers and her daughter Patience.

Kimberly Edwards

Costume Designer
Kimberly Edwards - Costume Designer Kimberly Edwards is delighted to be costume designer for the Players on High production of Rumors. Being on the production side after a few years of being on stage has been refreshing. She earned her B.A. in Theatre at Kutztown University in 2013. Where she studied various aspects of theatre including costume design. Kimberly has designed costumes for shows at several theaters. Her favorite shows she has designed for are Crimes of the Heart, Tartuffe, The School for Scandal, Henry VIII, and most recently No Strings Attached. Kimberly would like to thank her co-designer Amanda Moore for being so helpful and overall great to work with.

Tara Mead

Makeup/Hair Consultant
Tara Mead - Makeup/Hair Consultant Tara is no stranger to the stage, including the Carlisle Theatre. Prior to working with the cast and crew of Rumors as its makeup and hair consultant, she has performed in the theatre's productions of The Crucible, Sleepy Hollow, Clue, and in the Dying 2 Kill You murder mystery shows. Tara has also performed at the Hershey Area Playhouse in It's a Wonderful Life and The Homecoming. She starred in a variety of productions in high school and also sang in various music ensembles while attending the University of Connecticut.
