THE MOTH is a nonprofit dedicated to the art and craft of storytelling. For over 27 years, The Moth has presented over 60,000 true personal stories, told live, without notes, to standing-room-only audiences and virtually around the globe. Renowned for showcasing a broad range of human experiences, The Moth produces approximately 600 live and virtual shows each year and has an ongoing presence in 28 cities worldwide. Additionally, The Moth runs storytelling workshops for students, teachers, adults, advocates, and professionals from around the world through its Education, Community Engagement, Global Community and MothWorks Programs. The Moth Podcastthe 2020 Webby People’s Voice Award Winner for Best Podcast Series— is downloaded tens of millions of times a year, and each week, the Peabody Award-winning The Moth Radio Hour, produced by Jay Allison at Atlantic Public Media and presented by PRX, The Public Radio Exchange, is heard on over 560+ public radio stations. The Moth released its first card deck, A Game of Storytelling (Clarkson-Potter), and its second podcast, the Webby Award-Winning, Grown, is available on all major streaming platforms. Oscar De las salas

Storyteller
OSCAR DE LAS SALAS is a Colombian-born bilingual design architect who came to Arizona in 1998. He holds a second master's degree in Architecture and Design from Salamanca, Spain, and has completed internships across Europe, including Milan. Currently, Oscar is a Client Relationship Manager for the global design firm, Gensler, and works as a media-savvy professional, having appeared on major networks and national livestreams to share his insights on culture, design, and community. Oscar shares his perspectives through his popular blog, "What Would Oscar Do." Oscar has been happily married to Gary Jackson, whom he calls "his American prince", for the past 10 years.

IVY LE is a Vietnamese American comedian, writer, and actress based in Austin, Texas - soon to be in Berlin, Germany. She is the creator of the critically-acclaimed Spotify Studios podcast FOGO: Fear of Going Outside, a nature show by the most reluctant host ever. FOGO is featured on Delta flights and recommended by The Guardian, CBC, Oprah and Outside Magazine. She hosts the only queer comedy mic in Texas, co-produces Austin Sketch Fest, and performs all over the country with The Moth and at comedy festivals like Laugh After Dark, Tower City Comedy Fest, and Lysistrata. PETER AGUERO was born and raised in the wilds of South Jersey. He's been working with The Moth since 2007 as a storyteller, host, instructor, and staff clergy. He makes his home in Queens with his wife, Dr. Fine.
