Message from Today 4U Productions
Today 4U Productions is proud to present its inaugural production of Seussical Jr.
Dr. Seuss has enchanted readers for generations with his rhyming style and fanciful illustrations. Seussical Jr. brings many iconic Seuss characters to life in a fantastical music extravaganza. Its score employs a variety of musical styles from Latin to pop, swing to gospel, and R&B to funk. Seussical explores themes of loyalty, values, friendship, individuality and creativity in a fun filled musical adventure.
It has been a wonderful 4 months with this cast and Today 4U Productions is so proud of their dedication, hard work and talent.

About Today 4U Productions
Today 4U Productions brings together four theatre enthusiasts to create an incredible youth theatre company. We are dedicated to providing kids ages 7-18 with an exciting and rewarding experience in the performing arts. Our program is designed to introduce young people to the world of theatre and help them develop their talents and abilities in an encouraging and supportive environment.
Through rehearsals, and a fully produced show, we strive to bring out the very best in each of our participants. We believe that each young person has the potential to become a confident and creative performer. Join us today and see what you can be.

Olivia Olan
Olivia is so excited to be playing Jo-Jo. She is 8 years old and is in Grade 2. This is Olivia's 3rd show. Her favourite musical is "Seussical"!
I.J. Arnold
IJ is playing The Cat in the Hat. They are 11 years old and are in Grade 6. This is IJ's 1st show. Their favourite musicals are "Beetlejuice The Musical" and "Heathers: The Musical". IJ wanted to say that they love Seussical Jr. and are so excited to do this show.
Alex Dartsch
Alex is playing Horton the Elephant. He is 17 years old and is in Grade 12. This is his 3rd show. His favourite musical is "Seussical". He wanted to let the audience know that "the fibonacci sequence can be used to roughly convert miles to kilometres."
Edison Gray
Edison is excited to play Mr. Mayor and also be a Frog in the Jungle of Nool.
He is 7 years old and is in Grade 2. This is Edison's 2nd show. His favourite musical is "Seussical".
Maia Dartsch
Maia is thrilled to be playing Mrs. Mayor and the Snake in the Jungle of Nool. Maia is 19 years old and recently finished Grade 12. This is Maia's 4th time on stage. Her favourite musicals are "Newsies", "Wicked" and "Hamilton". Maia has said "that every rehearsal for this show has been so much fun and she has enjoyed getting to know the cast!" Maia wanted to extend a special thanks to Edison Gray for being such an amazing Mr. Mayor.
Alex Dunat
Alex is so happy to be playing Gertrude McFuzz. She is 16 years old and is in Grade 11. This is Alex's 2nd show. Her favourite musicals are "Six" and "The Addams Family". Alex says "thanks to all my family and everyone who has supported me in this show."
Aspen Walsh
Aspen is thrilled to be playing Mayzie La Bird. She is 17 years old and is in Grade 11. Aspen is a veteran of the stage having been in 10 shows. Aspen's favourite musical is "Legally Blonde". Aspen wanted to thank her mom for everything that she has done for this show and for her.
Stella Darnell
Stella is excited to be playing the Sour Kangaroo as well as a Citizen of Whoville. She is 12 years old and is in Grade 7. This is Stella's 1st show. Her favourite musical is "The Addams Family". Stella wants you all to know that "anything is possible!".
Evelyn MacIntosh
Evelyn is so excited to be playing Max the Dog and the Young Kangaroo. She is 7 years old and in Grade 2. This is Evelyn's 1st show. Her favourite musical is "Hamilton".
Amelie Brown
Amelie is playing a Bird Girl and a Citizen of Whoville. She is 13 years old and in Grade 7. This is Amelie's 1st show. Her favourite musical is "Hairspray". Amelie wants to say hi to all the audience members.
Julia Dartsch
Julia is playing a Bird Girl and a Citizen of Whoville. Julia is 14 years old and in Grade 8. This is her 5th show. Julia's favourite musical is "Wicked". Julia says "thanks to all the Bird Girls for being AWESOME!"
Isobel Dartsch
Isabel is playing a Bird Girl and a Citizen of Whoville. She is 10 years old and in Grade 5. This is her 3rd show. Isabel's favourite musical is "Six".
Sophie Dartsch
Sophie is very happy to be playing a Bird Girl and a Citizen of Whoville. She is 15 years old and in Grade 10. This is her 5th show. Sophie's favourite musical is "Wicked". Sophie says "Seussical has been so much fun!" Her favourite song from Seussical is Green Eggs and Ham.
Aria Martindale
Aria is very excited to be a Bird Girl and a Citizen of Whoville. Aria is 9 years old and in Grade 4. This is her 1st show. She couldn't pick a favourite musical but is enjoying her time in "Seussical".
Ainsley Savoie
Ainsley is so happy to be a Bird Girl and a Citizen of Whoville. Ainsley is 12 years old and in Grade 7. This is her very 1st show. Ainsley's favourite musical is "Seussical".
Stefan Cummins
Stefan is thrilled to be playing a Wickersham Brother and a Citizen of Whoville. Stefan is 7 years old and is in Grade 2. This is his 2nd show. Stefan's favourite musical is "Peter Pan".
Isla Johnson
Isla is jumping for joy to be in "Seussical Jr." She is playing a Wickersham Brother and a Citizen of Whoville. Isla is 8 years old and in Grade 2. This is her 1st show. Isla's favourite musical is "Seussical".

Thomas is playing a Wickersham Brother and a Citizen of Whoville. He is 10 years old and in Grade 5. This is Thomas' 1st show. His favourite musical is "Seussical". Thomas is very excited to be in this show.
Henry Nantes
Henry is so excited to be playing a Wickersham Brother and a Citizen of Whoville. He is 8 years old and is in Grade 3. This is his 5th show. His favourite musical is "Aladdin".
Josie Nydam
Josie is very excited to be playing a Wickersham Brother and a Citizen of Whoville. She is 11 years old and in Grade 5. This is Josie's 1st show. Her favourite musical is "Matilda: The Musical"
Hadley Luesink
Hadley is thrilled to be playing The Grinch and Yertle the Turtle. Hadley is 9 years old and in Grade 4. This is her 1st show. Her favourite musical is "Matilda: The Musical". Hadley says "I'm really excited to be in a musical and hope that being in Seussical will improve my singing!"
Alessa Huisman
Alessa is so excited to be playing Vlad Vladikoff and a Citizen in Whoville. She is 10 years old and is in Grade 5. This is Alessa's 4th show. Her favourite musical is "Seussical"!
Lexie MacIntosh
Lexie is excited to be playing Thing 1 and a Red Panda in the Jungle of Nool. Lexie is 10 years old and in Grade 6. This her 1st show. Her favourite musical is "Six".
Ezra Grasley
Ezra is playing Thing 2 and a Red Rabbit in the Jungle of Nool. He is 9 years old and in Grade 4. This is his 1st show. His favourite musical is "The Lion King."
Mabel Harmatuk
Mabel is playing a lot of characters in this production. She is Sam I Am, a Gazelle in the Jungle of Nool, Mrs. Umbroso and the Statue of Liberty. Mabel is 13 years old and in Grade 7. Mabel is a veteran of the stage having been in many shows before. Her favourite musical is "The Addams Family". Mabel says "I am a Swiftie and you should be a Swiftie too!" She thanks Keke and the Wizard for biodiversity. She also thanks JD for inspiring her.
Ollie Darnell
Ollie is so happy to be the Lorax and a Fox in the Jungle of Nool. Ollie is 10 years old and is in Grade 4. This is his 1st show. His favourite musical is "Hamilton".
Rosemay Gale
Rosemary is playing Cindy Lou Who and is a Giraffe in the Jungle of Nool. Rosemary is 7 years old and in Grade 2. This is her 1st show. Her favourite musical is "Cinderella".
Karen Allen
Karen Allen is a retired teacher having taught with the Upper Grand District School Board for 35 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, music major, from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto. During her years of teaching, she taught English, Math, Music, and Drama to students from K-8. Karen developed a drama/improv programme for her grade 8 students which was acclaimed county wide. Along with directing many school musicals, Karen has been involved in many community theatre productions both as a performer and director. Karen is excited to be a Director of Today 4U Productions and looks forward to its success
Meghan Barron
Meghan Barron is a dancer, choreographer, and actor. She holds a specialist degree in Theatre and Drama studies from the University of Toronto Mississauga, as well as an honours diploma in Professional Actor-Training from Sheridan College, as well as a graduate of Second City's Longform conservatory.
Meghan has been dancing since the age of 3 in a variety of styles including: ballet, jazz, tap, pointe, hip hop, modern, and musical theatre. Her extensive training includes studies at Ana Marie Oliver School of dance where she studied under the RAD and CDTA curriculum. Meghan has taught dance and musical theatre for over 13 years in various dance studios.
Meghan is also an avid choreographer in and around the GTA.
Susan (Sue) Lawrenson
Susan (Sue) Lawrenson is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University, with an Honours Bachelor of Music Degree. (Voice). She is passionate about the performing arts and has been an active participant, both on and off stage, for dozens of theatrical productions over the past 37 years.
When not on or back stage, Sue is the Executive Director of the Community Foundation of Halton North. In addition to that, she is a contract employee of Algonquin College, facilitating online fundraising courses which are offered throughout the province of Ontario.
Tyler Livingstone
Tyler Livingstone found his love of theatre at a young age, performing in several community theatre productions in elementary school, then progressing to establish his own youth theatre company in high school to create learning opportunities for himself and other young people in his community.
Since then he has been active in a variety of roles in community theatre focusing on stage management and set design. He has also utilised his government and business background to implement policies and financial controls at an organisational level.
