Francis Allen - Bud Davis Francis Allen is delighted to return to Pembroke Pines Theatre of the Performing Arts as Bud in Sex Please We’re Sixty. He appeared at PPTOPA in 12 Angry Men (2023). Francis’ awards include two Best Supporting Actor awards, Best Narration Award, Acting Achievement Award Wo/men in the Arts U.S.A. He has appeared in award winning plays, films, and TV series. Theatre credits include Milk and Honey (Mr. Horowitz) The Wick Theatre; Chasing Jack (Dr. Noel) Willow Theatre; A Night in Provence (Dialect Coach) ACT of Davie; The Field (William Dee) S. FL Irish Theatre; 00-70 (Bartender) Not Your Average Theatre Group; Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf (George) Actors Cultural Theatre Inc; Four Weddings and An Elvis (Fist) Act of Davie; Julius Ceasar (Gaius Cassius Longinus) Actors Cultural Theatre Inc. Francis trained in acting and debuted as Romeo at Carmel College Oxfordshire. He graduated from University of Manchester England with 1st Class Honors; earned Distinctions at Trinity College of Music London; and trained with Royal College of Music faculty, renowned director John Swanbeck, award winning Director Michael Leeds, and leading Dialect Coach Paul Meier. Francis’ film and TV work includes Critical Thinking, The Beach Bum, Secret Society 3 Till Death, Are You Amir Shah, As You Like It Like That, Let’s Make It A Blockbuster Night, First Man, Assassination of Gianni Versace, The Right Stuff, Ballers, Investigation Discovery, Shut Up You, Beer Kings, Telemundo. Francis is proficient in Spanish, French, several dialects, and works as Dialect Coach. His keen interests include theatre, music, guitar, soccer.

Lory Reyes

Lory Reyes - Mrs. Stancliffe Lory Reyes is happy to be back at PPTOPA after having just appeared as Mrs. Stancliffe in Sex Please We’re Sixty! Appearing on stage locally for over 27 years, she has also done commercials, infomercials and dubbed an English voice in many telenovelas. A few favorite roles are Granny (Pippin), Electra (Gypsy), Nurse Ratched (One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest), M’Lynn and Clairee (Steel Magnolias), Doris (Same Time, Next Year), Lola (Damn Yankees) and Mrs. Banks in Mary Poppins, the Musical. My heart to my husband, Richard, for over three decades of his love and support.

Michael Schenker

Henry Mitchell
Michael Schenker - Henry Mitchell Michael is very excited to be playing Henry Mitchell in Sex Please…. This is Michael’s ninth production with PPTOPA, with some of his favorite roles over the years being, Oscar Rolfe (Judgement at Nuremberg), Kevin Rosario (In The Heights), Ladislav Sipos (She Loves Me), and Inspector Kemp (Young Frankenstein). Most recently, Michael took on his most challenging role to date, that of Father Davis (a scandalized Catholic priest in the psychological drama, The Dead Boy, directed by David Simson at Empire Stage. The role of Henry in Sex Please We’re Sixty was too good to pass up, as Michael recently celebrated his sixtieth birthday! He’d like to thank director Geoffrey Mergele for this opportunity, and especially his scene (and life) partner of 31 years, Maite, for supporting him every time he feels the need to scratch his acting itch!

Linda Stein

Victoria Ambrose
Linda Stein - Victoria Ambrose Linda is delighted to be playing Victoria Ambrose in PPTOPA’S production of “Sex Please We’re Sixty”. After beginning her journey to stage acting at Broward Center’s adult acting classes in 2015 with renowned Broadway diva, Jodie Langel, Linda began pursuing her dreams as a stage actor. She has appeared in a variety of roles in the past 10 years including plays by Neil Simon and Agatha Christie at ACT of Davie. She has been an integral member of the Seaside Players in Lauderdale by the Sea’s Theater Troupe, Seaside Players since 2018, as an actor in the Seaside Players Short Play Festivals in the group production featuring local Florida playwrights and was recognized by the group in 2023, with the Mikkie Gordon Acting Award for her performances and contributions to the group’s productions. She has also appeared in 2 productions by the South Florida Irish Theater group. During the covid epidemic she appeared in an Independently produced Irish play, on Zoom, “Outside Mullingar”. She also participated in a few productions on Zoom with Seaside Players, Femuscripts and a NY theater group. She is grateful for the many opportunities she has had that have brought her to this new opportunity. She has worked backstage as a stage manager on a number of productions with ACT OF Davie and Curtain Call Playhouse productions and is known for her creativity for creating lifelike props of food and other items. Linda appreciates PPTOPA, for this opportunity and the support from her husband David in this exciting chapter of her life.

Brenda Aulbach

Hillary Hudson
Brenda Aulbach - Hillary Hudson Brenda is thrilled to make her debut performance at PPTOPA. She has been an actor for over 40 years at both professional and community theatres in both Florida and New York. Favorite roles include: Veta ("Harvey"), Romaine ("Witness for the Prosecution"), Suzan ("Fulfillment Center") and Yvonne ("The Dinner Party"). She is the Artistic Director for the Seaside Players, having directed the popular "Sea Shorts Play Festival" for several years. Thankful for such a great cast and crew. Huge thanks to our director Geoffrey for this sweet role and to our audience for supporting live theatre. Love to Michael.

Stephanie Manner

Charmaine Beauregard
Stephanie Manner - Charmaine Beauregard Stephanie is beyond excited to return to PPTOPA, a theater very close to her heart, for her 4th production. Past performances include Funny Girl, Tony & Tina’s Wedding, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Mid Life! The Crisis Musical, Evelyn in Purgatory and The Butler Did It, among other favorites. In addition to her onstage productions, Stephanie is also a teacher for Curtain Call Playhouse’s children’s theater camp programs. A South Florida native, she enjoys all things outdoors, especially camping and cruising along the intercoastal waterways. She is forever grateful for the support of her family, sons Connor and Griffin, and the Best. Husband. Ever. Dana.

Geoffrey Mergele - Director Geoffrey Mergele (Director) - Geoffrey is excited to direct his second production for PPTOPA after directing and music directing Putting It Together. Musical directing credits include Tom Sawyer and Liberty! The Price of Freedom (Josephine Theatre, TX). A member of the PPTOPA Board of Directors, Geoffrey can usually be seen on stage performing. National Tour: The Wizard of Oz (Ens/Tinman US) NYC: The Metropolitan Opera (Lincoln Center - Actor). Del Marrero - Artistic Director Del is a graduate of AMDA New York and a middle school Drama teacher. She has starred in and/or choreographed numerous productions for PPTOPA and other local theatres. She directed Broadway Through the Years 1 & 2 and was the Assistant Director for Something Rotten. Previous roles include The Wedding Singer (Holly), The Mousetrap (Miss Casewell), Jesus Christ Superstar (Mary), Judgment at Nuremberg (Maria Wallner), How to Succeed…(Smitty), She Loves Me (Ilona), Young Frankenstein (Elizabeth), Footloose (Rusty), Once Upon a Mattress (Winifred), Man of La Mancha (Aldonza), Hairspray (Tracy), Annie (Lily), Secret Garden (Martha), Brigadoon (Meg) and Bye, Bye Birdie (Kim/Ursula).

Kim Pitman - Marketing Kim has worked as Backstage Manager and in Front of the House. She is in charge of Marketing, Group Ticket Sales and the PPTOPA website. She has been involved with numerous productions including Putting it Together, Broadway Through the Years Two, Deathtrap, Barefoot in the Park, 12 Angry Men, Broadway Through the Years, Pippin, Sweeney Todd, Evita, Something Rotten, Cabaret, Urinetown, A Few Good Men, The Wedding Singer, The Best Little Whorehouse, The Addams Family, The Mousetrap, Seussical, West Side Story, Jesus Chris Superstar, Judgment at Nuremburg, How to Succeed, In the Heights, She Loves Me, Funny Girl, The Little Mermaid, Young Frankenstein, Carousel, Mary Poppins, Gypsy, Les Misérables and Man of La Mancha. Lisa McFadden-Murphy - Stage Manager / Props Manager Lisa thanks her daughter, Kaelea, for bringing her back to theater. She has had enormous joy working on every show since Man of La Mancha in 2014. Her roles have included Props Manager, Backstage Crew, Backstage Manager, Lighting Operator and Stage Manager. She has loved working with every cast and crew and looks forward to what PPTOPA has in store for the future.
