Taniah Brown

Tapping Ensemble
Taniah Brown is a sophomore in CIC. This will be her first Poly musical. Taniah has performed in three Poly dance shows and the comedic drama play “I Don’t Wanna Talk About It”.

Declan Joyce

Nick Bottom
Declan Joyce is thrilled to be spending his senior year as your leading man tonight. Though he is a bit of a theater late bloomer, not joining theater until his junior year, he has made the most of his short time here. He has appeared in every staged production last year and this year he has had the pleasure of playing Mr Polk/Richard in "Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery" as well as being a varsity member of the improv team. He is our drama club president and he is thrilled with the drama community he is a part of and can’t wait to show you something rotten tonight.

Miles Chum

Nigel
Miles Chum is a BEACH sophomore who will be playing Nigel Bottom in Poly’s latest musical production of Something Rotten. Recently joining Poly’s theater programs, Miles has started his first year of acting and has performed in a few shows; “The Murder Mystery At The Murder Mystery” as “Officer Wright,” and “Kyle” in his intermediate class’s play of “I Don’t Want To Talk About It.” Miles is also a part of the Polyester’s Improv team which was one of the seeds that blossomed his love for everything-acting. Although not enrolled in the PARTS pathway, Miles takes acting as a hobby that teaches work ethic, team building, and discipline. Miles’ adoration for the acting community at Poly is made possible by the wonderful atmosphere created by his peers and mentors. His motivation comes from his big and loving family that always make the effort to support his interest.

Dashiell McFarr

Nostradamus
Nearing the end of his senior year, Dashiell McFarr is excited for you to see him as the crazy weirdo Nostradamus. Having been in many Poly plays before, such as The Twelve Huntsman as the Prince, Chicago as Fred Casely, Minola Baptista in Taming of the Shrew, Inspector Bradshaw and Brian D Taylor in Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery, and writing, directing, and starring in his own play True Rock as Eddie, he has had an awesome time acting alongside his peers and has become embraced in the community. He hopes you enjoy seeing this silly side of him and his newly acquired tap skills. Shoutout Mom and Dad, love you guys.

Sasha Flores

Renaissance Lady
This is Sasha's first highschool production debut as an ensemble member in Something Rotten! at Poly. Sasha is a freshmen in the Meds Pathway and is passionate about the medical field as well as singing, especially when it comes to singing in musicals! Sasha is a part of the Girl's Swim & Dive team here at Poly and has a really occupied schedule when it comes to extracurriculars. Her love goes to Yvonne, Wendy (Mom), Darwin (Papi), and her friends. :)

Charlyse Gilmore

Tapper
Charlyse Gilmore a Junior at LB Poly is excited to be part of the musical. Charlyse is a singer, dancer and content creator as well as an actress. She was previously casted in shrek the musical as Baby bear and Chicago as Dee/Billy’s girl. Charlyse is a trained singer and dancer at poly as well as a trained actress at AGB Studios. When Charlyse is not engaging in her other passions she takes time to put hard work in to a new one she found earlier this year, cheerleading with LB Poly Spirit. Charlyse is also a part of the Pathway PacRim.

Alaina Castillo

Tapper
Alaina is a freshman in Poly's PACE pathway. This is her first production with Poly Theatre and she taking part in Something Rotten's tapping ensemble. Her hobbies include dancing, writing, and spending time with her friends. She has been acting since age one and has been featured in numerous projects with Disney, Mercedes, Google, Crest, and USC student films. At Poly she is on the cheer team, ASB's freshman class vice president, a member of Model United Nations, the president of Kamag-Aral Club, and the president of the Equity, Inclusion, & Change Club.

Kayla Deng-Martinez

Renaissance Lady
Kayla is a senior and will be performing in Something Rotten.This is her second time in a Poly musical production and her second year in the theater arts department. Earlier in the year she participated in a Short play about putting an end to gun violence called Enough! Last year, she participated in Poly Productions sudent plays. She looks forward to continuing her love for the theater as a hobby as she goes on to college.

Jaden Alexius

Peter Quince, Bard Boy
Jaden Alexius is a Jr. in PACE who has done three years of theater. He has performed in Chicago as a News Reporter and Shrek: The Musical as Thelonious, and in many various plays at Poly. Jaden's debut was in a student written play called Untitled Document, where he played as Chett Larsen. He is very excited to continue doing theater within high school and has loved every play and musical he's been in. Shoutout to my family and friends, and hope you guys enjoy the show!

Rylan Gonzalez

Francis Flute, Horatio
This is Rylan’s first highschool production debut as an employee of Nick Bottom named Francis Flute in the production of Something Rotten at Poly. Rylan is a freshmen in the PACE Pathway and loves hanging out with his friends during and out of school hours. His love goes out to all his family and friends who came to support him.

Marielle (Mimi) Russell

Bard Babe, Grim Reaper, Renaissance Lady, Tapper
This will be Marielle Russell's 13th production with Poly. As a Junior in the PARTS pathway, Mimi has been in theatre and the Play Production class all 3 years and is the current acting Drama Club vice president. She is excited to star in her 3rd Poly musical. Whether it be acting on stage, serving as technical director, being on crew behind the scenes, or designing the set, poster, or lights for the show, Marielle always has a part in the theatre department's productions. Alongside theatre, Mimi is involved in the school's marching unit, winter guard, stage crew, and jazz 2 choir. As a set artist, the poster designer, and one of the actors in Something Rotten! Marielle is excited for you to see this production.

Alejandra is a freshman in CIC. They have been in many musicals starting with Lion king in kindergarten. She is currently in intro to theater and is looking forward to continuing theater in the future. Alejandra is excited to do the musical this year!

Giorgio Buono

Shakespeare
In his senior year, Gio looks forward to shaking his spheres for you tonight as Shakespeare. Over the three years he’s been in Mrs. Bon’s lovely drama class, Gio has found himself acting a clown and forgetting lines and entrances in seven plays at Poly– Mrs. Bon has said numerous times that he “should consider going to clown school”. Unfortunately for Bon, he doesn’t view clown school in as fond a light as she does. His fondest memory in theater, however, was producing his own play titled, “Revelation For The Lamb”, last year. If you’re one of “those” people then you might have also seen him on stage as captain of the Improv team. Enjoy the show!

Kennedi Payne

Tap Dancer
Kennedi Payne is a freshman in PArts. This is her first Poly high school musical. Shes had an amazing time working on this musical and watching it come all together and become better by each practice. Kennedi has been in dance shows not at poly but multiple dance shows.

Soli Nickerson

Puritian/Chef/Orphan
This is Soli, a sophomore in PACE's 2nd Poly Production, featured as a Puritian, Chef, and Orphan in Something Rotten! Most recently she performed in Chicago with the Poly Drama Department as a Billy's Girl and Reporter. She's also apart of the Poly's Chamber Choir and MUN. She would like to thank all those going to support her.

Lauren Griffieth

Renaissance Lady
Lauren Griffieth is a Senior in PACE. Before attending Poly, Lauren was in her community theater program playing Ebony Scrooge in A Christmas Carol. More recently, she was in the chorus and dance programs at Marshall Academy of the Arts and in the productions of Once Upon A Mattress, The Little Mermaid and Long Beach Poly’s production of Chicago. Sophomore year, she directed her first play, Truth and Lies... Mainly Lies with this intermediate/advanced theater program here at Poly.

Gia Bottegoni

Renaissance Writer/Valet
Gia is a freshman in PACE making her debut in Something Rotten as Renaissance writer and speaking as a Valet assistant. Her experience in theatre includes working with an independent theatre company acting in plays such as Beauty and the Beast, The Nightmare Before Christmas and others. She would like to thank the crew and pit for making this show special!

Torrey Garvey

Bard Boy/Puritan/Ensemble
Torrey is a senior in PACE who’s new to the theater scene. Despite this being Torrey’s musical debut, he starred in the student written “True Rock” last year. He loves anything creative and writes for music and film as a hobby, and hopefully one day, as a career. He’s looking forward to performing his many various roles in Something Rotten and participating in theater in the future.

Zander Smith

Eyepatch Man, Francis Bacon, Puritan
Zander Smith is a freshman in the PArts Pathway. He is delighted to be a part of Something Rotten as his first highschool production. He has performed in plays at The Kids Theater Company (TKTC) and loves acting. Zander also plays the cello in orchestra and flute in the Poly Marching Unit.

Shila Regalado

Master of justice/Bard Babe /grim reaper/Tapper
Shila is a junior in Parts who will be playing the role of Master of Justice, Bard Babe, and tapper. This is her second time in a Poly musical production and her third year in the theater arts department and is now in play pro. Earlier this year, she participated in the Playhouse's production of "Murder Mystery at the murder mystery" as Gertrude/sally. Shila was also in other plays before this such as Chicago, I Don't Want to Talk About It, and Light Years. She looks forward to continuing her love for the theater as she goes on to her final year of high school. Shout out to my family and my friends, thank you so much and I love you guys.

Daphne Gates

Daphne is a freshman in the Pace pathway at Long Beach Polytechnic high school. She has performed in The Little Mermaid as Carlotta, Legally blonde as Paulette, Shrek as Young Fiona, Frozen as Middle Elsa, and many more. Daphne is in the improv team, and is really looking forward to performing in Something Rotten!

Alexus Mendez

Renaissance Lady / Le Miserable / Chicago Show Girl
Alexus is a Junior in the Poly Arts pathway here at Poly and is in Varsity on the Polyesters Improv Team. Her first Debut was in Play Pro’s fall play this year in “Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery” as Adele Sears and is now preforming in her first Musical “Something Rotten”

Mia Winkler

Puritan, Orphan, Renaissance Lady, Chef
This is Mia Winkler's first high school production debut as a Puritan, Chef, Renaissance Lady, and Orphan in Something Rotten at Poly. Mia is a freshman in the PACE Pathway and loves hanging out with her friends during school hours. She also enjoys surrounding herself with music whenever given the opportunity to do so. She is driven to always try new activities and gain experience.

Jayda Montanez

Ensemble
Jayda Montanez is a CIC senior. This years production of Something Rotten is her first performance in a Poly High-school Musical, playing a renaissance Woman. this is her first time preforming live theater since the 4th grade and shes looking forward to continuing to preform in the future.

Francisco Calderon

Tom Snout
Francisco Calderon, a sophomore in the Poly Arts Pathway, is ecstatic to make his musical debut as Tom Snout in the Poly production of "Something Rotten." He recently participated in the Playhouse's production of "I Don't Want to Talk About It" and thoroughly enjoys the liveliness of theatre. He looks forward to future Poly musical productions, eager to continue pursuing his passion for the stage.

Michael McGuinness

Robin
Michael (Robin) is a Junior in Beach and is in his second year in the Poly Drama program. Last year he was a reporter and Judge in Chicago. He is currently on the competition team for the Polyesters and he was Officer Wright in the fall play: The Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery. He loves being a part of the theatre experience. He’d love to thank all his friends, family, and mom for inspiring him.

Annalise Soto

Renaissance Lady
This is Annalise first Poly stage debut as a Renaissance Lady in Something Rotten at Poly. Annalise is a freshmen in the Poly Arts pathway and loves hanging out with friends during her free time. She also enjoys singing and dancing when no one is watching. Her love goes out to her sisters, her friends and her father.

Stacey A. Drew

Minstrel
Stacey is a junior in Parts who will star as Minstrel in Something Rotten! It is her third time in a Poly musical theater production. Last year, she starred as Matron Mama Morton in Chicago, and earlier this year performed in the Playhouse's production of The Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery. Stacey, last year, received The Lionhearted Jackrabbit award as only an Intermediate Theater Arts student! She looks forward to continuing her adoration for theater into senior year and hopefully past high school.

Logan Hong

Various Speaking Roles
This is Logan's first debut as various background characters in Something Rotten. Although he may seem like a freshman, he is actually a PACE junior with just a lot energy. He hopes to deliver a performance filled with joy like his performance in SKP. Special thanks to Stage Crew for all their massive hard work and dedication (Stage Crew for Life!). His love also goes out to Kylik Bizzell, Natalie Guevara, Brooklynn Murray, and of course... his sister: Vivian Hong.

Alex Bernal-Maldonado

Lord Clapham
Alex is a Sophomore in CIC and is making his second appearance in a Poly High Musical. Last year he was on of the MCs in "Chicago: Teen Edition". It is his second year in the theater arts department and he is in the Advanced class. Earlier this year, he participated in a PolyPlayhouse Production called "Enough: Plays to End Gun Violence". He is looking forward to continuing theater and going into Play Pro.

Annali Bojorquez

Tapper
Something rotten is Annali’s first musical at Poly. She is a freshman in PACE and a soccer player/cross country and track runner. She enjoys soccer, jiu jitsu, running and reading. Annali is a Barcelona fan and speaks Spanish.

Zion Traylor

Tapper
Zion Traylor (tapper) is a sophomore in the Poly Arts pathway this will be her first musical at Poly but her second year in the Poly Drama Program. Last year she participated in a play called “Enough: Plays to End Gun Violence". Her favorite highlight in theater was playing Olaf in Frozen Jr. in 8th grade. In 2023 she entered in A Noise Within monologue contest and was a finalist. She would love to thank her mom, brother, family, and dad for motivating her.

Sofia Farfan

Portia
After making her high school acting debut with All Together Now, Sofia played Peter Pan in Shrek the Musical. She starred as Snow White in 12 Huntsmen and as Lipshitz in Chicago Teen Edition at Poly High School last year. She currently serves as Co-Captain of the award-winning Polyesters improv team and will pursue a degree in Musical Theatre.

Syreeta Roberts

Tapper, Sad Little Egg, Ensemble
Syreeta Roberts is a freshman in the Poly Arts Pathway. She loves hanging out with her friends during school hours. She is also part of the Black Student Union Club, Polyesters Club, and Drama Club. She enjoys acting, singing, dancing, and reading whenever she can. Her future goals are to go to a University with an acting degree and become a famous film and TV show actress. Her love goes to Mom Mayrine, Dad Melvin, Aunt Melchie, Grandma Amelia, and Grandpa Renato.

Maralin Galindo

Renaissance lady, Les Mis
Maralin is a senior in PACE who is taking the stage as a renaissance lady and les mis. This is her first time being involved in a Poly musical production. Despite only recently being a part of theater in high school, her love for it goes back to her middle school days. Last year, she participated in the playhouse production "True Rock". Maralin hopes to continue being a part of theater as a hobby as she enters college.

Danielle Robinson is a junior in the poly arts pathway. This is her second musical ever her first being last years production of Chicago. She is also in the polyesters, vocal jazz one & chamber and she is so excited for everyone to see the show!!

Milan Gramata-Massey

Renaissance Lady
Milan Gramata-Massey is a junior in the Poly Arts pathway who is portraying a "Renaissance lady" and "Fan girl" in "Something Rotten." She is brand new to the theater world, and this is her first time in a play production/musical. However, throughout her life, she has always shown a passion for the performing arts, as she has been in dance classes since elementary school, participated in choral music, and frequently read and wrote for leisure. In Milan’s free time, she is often found dancing to K-pop choreography at home or singing various styles of music, whether it be country, alternative, rap, hip-hop, or pop; not just in English either, but Thai, Korean,Japanese, French, Hebrew etc. Her current obsession is Milo Manheim and his role in "Journey to Bethlehem."

Aubrey Bedford

Brother Jeremiah/Nick Bottom (Sat Mat.)
PACE Senior, Aubrey Bedford, makes his first musical debut as Brother Jeremiah (and Nick Bottom) in “Something Rotten.” While this may be his first foray into a highschool musical, this is not his first time in the Playhouse. His notable contributions include: being a three year member of the Polyesters, the infamous Brett Donahue in the fall play, and his award winning performance as Messiah in 2023’s Poly Productions. Additionally, Aubrey is an avid musician with both a love of the trombone and singing. He plans to further his passion for the arts during his upcoming college journey.

Alanna Smith

Portia
Alanna Smith (Portia). This is Alanna’s musical debut at Long Beach Polytechnic High School. She is honored to be playing a leading role in Something Rotten. Her background showcases roles such as Ariel from The Little Mermaid, Rafiki from The Lion King and Simone from Madeline’s Christmas with training from Horizon Theater in Atlanta. Alanna also received an award for her director debut in 6th grade and was offered a part in the traveling show, Black Matter. She looks forward to continuing her passion in theater with Poly next year as a senior. Her love goes out to all of her family in California who get to see her on stage for the first time.

Xo Hayes

Shakespeare/Tapper
Xo has always been at their highest point when performing, now starting their professional development as a performer has brought them even higher. Xo has a heavy passion for dance and musical theater, landing their first major role as Velma Kelly in Chicago at Poly last year. They’re elated to be able to work so closely within the community they love so much and can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Chloe Williams

Renaissance Girl, Hippie
This is Chloe Williams’ first musical here at Polytechnic and absolutely enjoyed the experience, but this is not her first play. She is a Junior, in the Parts pathway and in her advanced year in drama. She’s been in a number of 5 plays during her high school career. Carley in “I don’t want to talk about it” , Grace in “Revelation for the Lamb”, 70’s Girl in “True rock”, Young Hallie in “Enough” and Officer Fuller in “Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery”. She is apart of 4 clubs here at Poly, Treasurer for “Poetry club”, Members in both “Build your Resume” and “Film club” and President of her own Shared club “PolyStyle+” . Chloe enjoys music, writing, theater, both poetry and songs, movies/shows and fashion. She’d like to thank and give her love to her friends and cousins for always supporting her dreams.

Marcela salinas

Renaissance lady
My name is Marcela Mars Salinas. This is my first year at Poly. I’m in PArts. I’m glad to be a part of the musical Something Rotten as a part of the ensemble cast. I’ve only been in short plays and dance performances. This will be the first musical I’ll be a part of and I’m excited for the next two years I have left at Poly to take part of the upcoming musicals.

Madeline Cahill

Lady Clapham
My name is Madeline Cahill. I am 14 years old and I am a 9th grader at Poly High School and am a part of the PACE program. I enjoy acting and performing in general but I have always loved musical theater specifically. This is my first musical at Poly and I am beyond excited to be in Something Rotten. I hope everyone has as much fun watching the show as I’ve had being a part of it.

Kennedy Fuller

Tapper
Kennedy Fuller is a freshman a part of the PACE program who is currently a tapper in the school production of "Something Rotten." This is her second year in an official theater arts department. During her 8th grade year at Stanford Middle, she played the leading role of the Genie in the play, "Aladdin." Throughout elementary she participated in every annual talent show and even sang her first solo at the age of 7 to "A Dream," by DEBARGE. Along with several performances, she was a part of a Chorus team for 3 years and can play 4 instruments which includes the piano, violin, flute, and recorder. She desperately awaits a chance to become a leading role in future plays throughout her High School experience. Shoutout to my family who always encourages me to pursue my talents.

Eva Miller

Renaissance Lady / Puritan
Eva Miller is a senior in PACE playing the role of a Renaissance woman and puritan. She loves performing on stage. This is her first time being in a musical. Eva enjoys watching musical theater and loves to sing and dance. She is in two choirs at poly, Vocal Jazz 1 and Chamber singers, and is in advanced Dance. Her love goes out to her family.

Oat Gomez

Oat Gomez is a PolyArts Junior. Past Poly roles include Guard, ‘Walter’, and Screaming Bunny in ‘Shrek the Musical’, Rachel and Emmet in ‘I Don’t Want to Talk About It’, Reporter in ‘Chicago:Teen Edition,’ Erica Stone in ‘Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery,’ and Ensemble/Crew in Poly Productions. Oat hopes for this nightmare to end. ★

Jodi Improta

Costume Designer
Jodi Improta is an actress, director, costumer and set designer.  She was the drama teacher at Whitney High School for over 30 years, where she left a legacy of outstanding high school theatre.  She is the director and producer of the Whitney Performing Arts Camp. Mrs. Improta has been a generous supporter of LBPoly Theatre Arts for many years by lending us costumes and props!  Thanks always!

Chandler Estrada is a senior in CIC, working this musical as one of the Assistant Stage Managers, as well as assistant props. He has assistant stage managed two other shows, Poly's 2023 Mr. and Mrs. Jackabbit Pageant, along with the 2023 fall play The Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery, where he was also prop master. This is his second year in stage crew. He is proud of the other assistant stage manager and propmaster Khaia and Sabrina, and all the hard work and time that crew has put in to make this show what it is! He hopes you enjoy the show!

Sophia Espiritu

Master Electrician
Sophia is a CIC senior who is in stage crew for their 3rd year. She is the Master electrician and Deck electrician for this year’s musical. In the past, she has worked on Shrek as running crew and on Chicago as light board operator. She is really excited to work this musical with everyone and hopes you enjoy the show.

Linda Bon

Director/Producer
Linda Bon received her BA from BYU in Theatre Arts, her MFA from UCSD in Acting. and her Teaching Credential from CSULB. She has acted professionally in commercial work, film, and regional theatre, including “A Noise Within”, La Jolla Playhouse and National Theatre of London. She has taught Acting and Speech at the La Jolla Playhouse, Tracy Roberts Studio, and UCSD. She co-directs annually the Whitney Performing Arts Camp. She is married to a television editor, is the proud mother of four kids and two dogs, and has the best job in the world at Poly.

Victoria Gathe-Rosado

Technical Director
Mrs. Gathe-Rosado makes dreams come true at Poly! She was raised in the Long Beach District backstage and in scene shops, as both her mother and father were Technical Directors before her. She has also worked in professional theatres across the country and brings to Poly a wealth of expertise to share! She runs the musical as well as shows for Choir, Band, Orchestra, Dance, and other Auditorium events. She teaches Stage Technology at Poly.

Karey Kirkpatrick

Book, Music and Lyrics
Karey Kirkpatrick began his career as a screen and songwriter for Disney Animation where he penned The Rescuers Down Under and James and the Giant Peach. With more than a dozen feature films produced, screenplay credits include Chicken Run (Golden Globe nomi­nee for Outstanding Comedy), Charlotte's Web, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Spiderwick Chronicles and Over the Hedge, which he also co-directed. He directed the Paramount Pictures film Imagine That starring Eddie Murphy and co-pro­duced, wrote and performed on the film's soundtrack. He recently directed the Warner Brothers animated musical SMALLFOOT for which he also co-wrote the screenplay and the songs (with brother Wayne). He has won a number of Tony, Oscar and Grammy awards and that number is zero. Other credits: husband of Nada, father of Sami, Maia and Finn.

Brian Dokko

Music Director
Mr. Dokko has been the Director of Choral Activities at Poly HS since 2003. A graduate of UCLA with a degree in Music Education, Mr. Dokko also holds an M.M. in Choral Conducting from the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at CSULB.

Gwen Larsen

Choreographer/Makeup Master
Gwen Larsen is an English teacher at Long Beach Poly.   She studied acting, literature and education at Yale University and UC Berkeley and acted professionally in Boston and Berkeley before returning to Long Beach to be a mom.  As an avid supporter of Poly's artistic community, she is happy to be a part of Something Rotten.

Jay Dunk

Stage Manager
Jay is a CIC senior and working his third year as stage crew for Poly’s annual musicals. His first year being Head Grip for Shrek the Musical. His second year being Assistant Stage Manager for Chicago the Musical. And now Stage Managing this year’s Something Rotten! Jay is President of the Stage Crew Club and hopes to pursue a career is Technical Theater in Chicago. Jay hopes you all enjoy the show and give a little love to the ones behind the stage.

Sebastian Villar

Set Designer
Sebastian Villar: "It has been an honor to artistically collaborate with the students and faculty at Poly High School. I hope the design process from page to stage inspires the students as they journey forward." Mr. Villar has used his professional expertise to guide Poly Students in scenic painting and design since the Shrek Musical two years ago

Sydney Bautista

Choreographer
You may have last seen Sydney Bautista last year on this stage as Roxie Hart in Chicago,. While participating in the theater program at Poly, she choreographed a one-act play as a senior in the fall production of “The 12 Huntsmen”. This year she works as a coach for the dance program under Cynthia Negrete, while attending LBCC. Sydney performs classical ballet with the Long Beach Ballet.

Sabrina Gonzalez

Prop Master
This is Sabrina’s second year being a part of Stage Crew. Sabrina is a senior in PACE and she has previously worked on Chicago as running crew, The Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery as co-prop master, and JPAG 2024 as stage manager. She is incredibly grateful for the opportunities stage crew has provided her, as well as all of the people she has gotten to know, and she hopes you enjoy Something Rotten!

Wayne Kirkpatrick

Book, Music and Lyrics
Wayne Kirkpatrick is the Grammy Award-winning songwriter of Change the World by Eric Clapton (Song of the Year). Top 10 singles include Every Heartbeat, Good for Me (Amy Grant); Wrapped Up in You (Garth Brooks); Boondocks, Bring It on Home, Little White Church (Little Big Town); Place in This World (Michael W. Smith). He is a multi-formatted song­writer with songs recorded by Bonnie Raitt, Faith Hill, Joe Cocker, Gabe Dixon, Trisha Yearwood, Babyface and Peter Frampton, among others. His songs have been featured in TV shows (Grey's Anatomy, True Blood, Hart of Dixie) as well as feature films (Almost Famous, Phenomenon, Smallfoot). Wayne lives in Nashville with his wife Fran and was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame for 2018. Favorite produc­tions: Kourtney, Shelby and Carson.

Alejandra Uribe

Head Fly-man
Alejandra Uribe is a junior in the CIC pathway and will be the Head Fly-man in this year's musical production of Something Rotten. This is her second time working in a Poly musical production in the stage technician department. The first being Poly's musical production of Chicago last year as Follow-spot #1. Alejandra also participates in other shows in the Andrew Osman Auditorium like JPAG 23' & 24' as a Follow-spot, the Fall Dance Concert as the stage manager, every Jazz concert as the sound board operator, etc. Alejandra is also the club vice president for stage crew and plans to be the president next year (bye-bye Jay). She looks forward to continuing her love for Stage Crew in her next school year at Poly and throughout college. She sends a shout-out to alumni Jorge for teaching her rails/fly and Jay for being an amazing stage manager and friend!

Khaia Dosta

Stage Right Assistant Stage Manager
Khaia Dosta, a senior in CIC, has been in stage crew since "Shrek the Musical", performed two years ago. She was also an assistant stage manager for Poly's 2023 Mr. and Mrs. Jackrabbit Pageant. She is experienced with sound equipment, as she was a part of managing microphones for last year's show: "Chicago". She is thrilled to be part of Poly's production of "Something Rotten!"

Liz Lozada

Assistant Director
Liz Lozada was proudly born and raised in Southeast LA and received a Dual Master’s degree from NYU for Educational Theatre and English Education. She has acted on stage, written, directed, and produced plays, and is currently living the dream at Poly, working with youth in theatre. In her free time, she enjoys writing, yoga, nature, hanging with loved ones, dancing, and being a dog mom.
