Michael Bradley
Michael Bradley was born in Brooklyn and lives there still. He has worked in as a book editor, art archivist, and in speciality retail. Death Date is his first play.
Katherine Heyman
Katherine Heyman is a director, writer, and performer based in Brooklyn. Her work deals with themes of death, grief, religion, and sexuality. Since moving to New York, she has directed work at the Tank (The Train by Molly McQuillan), Emerging Artists Theatre (Sleepwalkers by Ulla Collins), and Daisy Theatricals' BLOOM festival (DNR by Joshua Taylor Piper). Previously, she was the director for North Country Center for the Arts' touring troupe, IMPACT. She studied theatre at Smith College and received Smith's Award in Distinguished Directing for the Theatre. In 2025, she trained in Shakespearean performance at LAMDA.
Jonathan Tarpy
Jonathan is an entrepreneur and inventor on more than 2 dozen patents. He Became interested in acting during the pandemic after joining an acting class on Zoom. Since then he's starred in a multi-award wining short film and has been active in community theater.
Belton DeLaine-Facey
Belton is a writer, comedian, and filmmaker based in Brooklyn. His work has screened at film festivals across the country. He is currently developing the audio drama, The Near Disaster. You can follow his podcast, Film vs Movie.
Ernest Barzaga
Ernest Barzaga is a New York-based director working across plays, musicals, and new work development. Selected credits include Off-Broadway: *Death of a Salesman* (2016); Off-Off-Broadway: *Purlie*, *South Pacific*, *Carousel*, *Kinky Boots*, *Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf*, *The Innocents’ Crusade*, and *A Midsummer Night’s Dream*; and *Show Boat* (workshop). He has also directed and developed 10+ new works. Much love and gratitude to Sam, Sarah, and David Shay—the best crew a director could ask for—and to Belton for entrusting him with his work.

Sam Meilani Rodriguez is an actor from Brooklyn, New York. Their most recent credits include Fresh Ink with The Mechanicals and Serials! at The Tank. Upcoming: Private Nature at Box of Moonlight.
Sarah Chabin
Sarah is an actor, writer, director, and editor from Tucson, AZ and is now based in NYC. She graduated from Loyola Marymount University in LA with a theater and screenwriting degree. She is thrilled to bring Cassie Anwa to life in Confined Space with her “least favorite co-workers and dry ass space bread”. This week, in addition to spf BOO, she premieres her directorial debut “Unfun” at New York International Shorts Film Festival. Darius Lack is a New York based actor and writer. He graduated with a BA in drama from the University of California Irvine. He's grateful for the opportunities to perform, and enjoys acting and writing for his sketch comedy group, the salty nuts.

Reginald T. Jackson
His play DEE’S DILEMNA was produced in Houston, TX by the FADE TO BLACK FESTIVAL in June 2024. His play BLACK IN THE FIRST DEGREE was produced OffBroadway by the Downtown Urban Arts Festival June 2025. DEE’s DILEMNA was chosen as the best of the best short plays and was produced again in Houston Texas in June 2025. His play BLACK IN THE FIRST DEGREE was selected by the International Human Rights Art Festival and will be produced off-broadway at the Tank Theater on December 13, 2025. His play PERSONAL PURGATORY was produced by the Players Theatre LUV Festival Feb. 2026, His play PRACTICE TO DECEIVE was produced as part of the FRESH FRUIT FESTVAIL April 2026. His play CRABS IN A BARREL was produced by the MIDTOWN INTERNATIONAL THEATRE FESTIVAL July 2026. His play HEJIRA: Cradle to the Grave was produced by the Black Men Talk Festival in July 2026. His play PERSONAL PURGATORY will be part of the 15 MINUTES TO FRAME: Play competition in August 2026.
Kubbi
Kubbi is an American actress, director, producer, singer, and print model whose work spans film, television, theater, radio, and music. Her screen credits include Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Maury Povich, and the feature film The Work and the Glory III, along with print campaigns for major brands and three billboard appearances in New York City and Pennsylvania. As a director, Kubbi has helmed award-winning theatrical productions including Personal Purgatory and Black in the 1st Degree, both written by acclaimed playwright Reginald T. Jackson. Her direction of Shadows in the Mirror marks her sixth collaboration with Jackson. She also directed the acclaimed radio drama The Organizer, scheduled to air on WBAI Radio in New York. Kubbi expanded into feature filmmaking with her debut horror/mystery/thriller Hollow Haven, which wrapped production in October 2025 and is currently in post-production. A trained artist with studies at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and Yale University, she continues to move fluidly between acting, directing, producing, music, and visual storytelling.
Chastity Perez
Chasity Perez (Elena) is an Ossining, N.Y. resident and Lehman College graduate, where she earned a B.A. in Theater. Chasity has performed in various community theater productions, including Beauty and the Beast and the original play Gladys Day, along with experience in independent film. Chasity is passionate about bringing characters to life and connecting with audiences through storytelling. She is grateful for the opportunity to be part of this production and thanks the cast, crew, and everyone who continues to support her journey.
Joshua G. Evans
Joshua Galvan Evans is a New York City based actor and voice actor. He trained at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, where he studied classical and contemporary acting, on-camera technique, voice, movement, and stage combat. Alongside his stage work, Joshua performs professionally in animation and video games. He is thrilled to be part of this production and would like to thank his family and his partner for their love, encouragement, and support in helping him get here.
Torreke Evans
Torreke Evans is an Atlanta native with roots in Baltimore and an actor and teaching artist making his mark in New York. A graduate of McDaniel College with degrees in Theatre and English, Torreke’s previous credits include Romeo and Juliet with Chesapeake Shakespeare Company and Watch the Throne with Black Spectrum Theatre . He has also worked as an actor and teaching artist with Alliance Theatre and Aurora Theatre in Atlanta. Torreke is thrilled to join the SPF BOO! 2026 in Shadows in the Mirror.

Timmy has tackled some terrific acting roles in the last several years, including Norman Thayer Jr. in On Golden Pond, Billy and Sydney in Neil Simon's California Suite, Walter Burns in The Front Page, Herr Schultz in Cabaret, and Irving Berlin in Coming Back Like A Song. Timmy began writing short plays about two years ago, and has recently finished his first full-length. He studied with the legendary acting coach Stella Adler, serving as her driver, and accompanying her to Paris as an actor for the 50th anniversary of the death of Stanislavsky.

Santiago is a Florida native who attends Pace University. He is currently working on a double major in Musical Theater and Psychology. Hayley has performed professionally on-stage and screen in NYC, London and Scotland. Look out for her in the upcoming pilot “The Seam” and the feature film “Maliah’s Eyes”.
Nora Gatz
NORA GATZ (she/her) is an actor born and raised in Madrid who moved to New York City in 2021 to complete her studies at NYU Tisch School of the Arts’ Experimental Theatre Wing. Her New York stage credits include "A Winter’s Tale" at The Flea Theater and "The Edge of Nature" at La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club, directed by Josh Fox. Most recently, she played Dhalia in "Spit in the Beer" as part of the New York Theater Festival at Teatro LATEA in June 2026.

Olympia Gonzalez
Olympia is a recent graduate of Barnard College, where she majored in Film. She is passionate about writing stories that explore identity, growth, and the wonderfully complicated ways people connect with each other. She especially loves writing queer characters and creating deep, well-rounded people who feel messy, and real. Outside of the two feature films she’s currently writing, this is her first piece of theatre to be brought to life. She’s loved collaborating with Allison on this play and is excited to keep writing and creating.
Allison Su
Allison Su is a NYC-based playwright and musical theater writer. She started writing for theater in 2023 with her original full-length play The Last Star and wrote her first full-length musical Naturale in 2024. She wrote and co-produced her one-act play Hey Mom, I Got Engaged for The Tank’s Pridefest (2026). In addition to theater, she has written and published poetry, essays, and flash fiction. She is currently a mentee in the Musicians United for Social Equity (MUSE) Mentorship Program and the Girls Write Now Collaboratory program.
Amber Weissert
Amber Weissert is an artists who wears many hats, but is very happy to wear the directing hat once again. She most recently directed the world premier of ECHO at The New York Theatre Festival, where she won best director. You can see her next at The Tank playing the titular role in “echo” this December! Selected credits include; Romeo and Juliet, Hairspray, The Tin Woman, and Macbeth. When not in the theatre, Amber can be found teaching, dancing, bedazzling, or searching for the perfect tiramisu. Francesca Savone
Francesca Savone is a NYC-based actor and dancer from Detroit, Michigan, and a graduate of Oklahoma City University. Francesca has professionally performed in regional dance and theater productions, and she has choreographed productions of Little Shop of Horrors and The Gondoliers, and the U.S. premiere of the new opera Pieta, directed by Andrea DelGiudice. Francesca made her professional NYC stage debut last year in three shows, Echo (Best Production at NYTF, written and directed by Amber Weissert), Achilles: The Next Illiad (Next Life Theatre Co), and A.I. vs Humanity (Ripple Effect Artists). Jon Mathes graduated from FSU with a degree in vocal performance. Notable roles include Pirelli (Sweeney Todd), Judas (Jesus Christ Superstar) and Quasimodo (Hunchback). He was recently in the workshop cast of Blood Moon Manor and has been featured in cabarets at 54 Below and Green Room 42.
Katie Casebolt
Always with a tone of sarcasm and feminism, Katie is a writer, stagehand and sfx makeup artist who aims to correct injustices and bring a small bit of comedy to serious conversations. After two college degrees in the entertainment field from Wayne State University (Theatre Design and Screenwriting), her goals are to write for the big screen with the Writer’s Guild and produce in her favorite spot in the world; New York’s Theatre stages. Oh, and to find the best plate of nachos in the world.

Nikki Dimitrijevich is a Michigan-based actor, writer, host, and professional chaos scholar. Her stage credits include Neil Simon’s The Odd Couple (Female Version), Father of the Bride, The King and I, and immersive performances with American Immersion Theater. Beyond the stage, Nikki is a pop-culture journalist and on-camera contributor for Nerd Initiative, covering film, television, fandom, and the stories that bring audiences together. She is developing The Refrain, an original television project where memory, identity, grief, and love collide with time and quantum possibility. Nikki is thrilled to join Taking What’s Mine and its New York production.

She is a proud member of Theatre 68 and regularly writes and performs sketch comedy with the group Punchline Loading.

Kevin Gonzalez or as he is sometimes referred to as ‘TV’s Kevin Gonzalez’ is a Puerto Rican Brooklyn Born and raised actor. Don’t believe that? just listen to him talk for 5 mins. His more notable roles include And Just Like That, Law & Order SVU and numerous Comedy Central Sketches. He’s most recently performed as ‘AJ’ in OUT OF MY HEAD for New Works festival. Emmy Harris
Originally from England, Emmy trained in classical theatre at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art before moving to New York, where she studied at Atlantic Theater Company’s acting conservatory. Her play Each Brought Some Silences premiered at the New York International Fringe Festival in 2016. She has worked as a playwright, actor, and producer in New York, and produced her first feature film, Swans, in 2019. Her work moves between theatre and film, and she is delighted to take part in SPF at The Players Theatre this fall.
Taylor Patno
TAYLOR FORD PATNO is a Vermont-born, New York City-based actor, producer, historian, director and playwright. A proud graduate of Circle in the Square Theatre School, he has been creating theatre in NYC and New England for over 15 years. Workshops of his new play, "On the Horizon", were recently produced at the historic Gilded Age estate Lynnewood Hall in Philadelphia, PA, and Broadway’s Circle in the Square Theatre. He has a deep passion for theatre, new works, and collaboration, and currently works as Production Coordinator for TRW Production.

Ben Fisher is an actor, comedian, writer, and producer based in New York City. He has performed at SF Sketchfest, New York Comedy Festival, UCB, NBC’S Comedy Scene Showcase, The Knitting Factory, and The Rainbow Room. He starred in Good News (dir. Joe Stankus, New York Film Festival), named a must-see short by Forbes. On stage, he has worked with directors Tyne Rafaeli, Sybil Lines, Zi Alikhan, and Jimmy Maize. Matthew Cade
Matthew Cade appeared in Jerry Roebucks “Harlem Coffee Shop,” at the Beacon Theatre, and wrote and directed the feature film “How I Became That Jewish Guy,” which premiered at The Anthology Film Archives, as well as another feature he wrote and directed “The Missing Stories,” which premiered at Quad Cinema. His play “Waking Up Crazy,” was performed at the Cherry Lane Theatre and he acted in his own play The Celestial Field at the NY Theatre Festival. Matthew currently cohosts a podcast “Playing Teacher” – taking you behind the curtain of NYC public schools. He thanks his wife and son for their unwavering love and support.

Anna Kaliuzhnaia is a Russian-born actress and voiceover artist based in New York City. She trained at HB Studio, New York Film Academy, and LAMDA NYC, and has a strong foundation in both stage and screen performance. Her screen credits include Outside the Lighthouse and Faces, and she recently appeared on stage as Mom in The Celestial Field.
Paul Anthony Jablonski
"Paul Anthony is a singer, songwriter, and sound designer, that has been on the NYC scene and in tri-state as a performing musician since the early 2000s. Paul and Matt discovered last year that their work and vision coalesce seamlessly. This is Paul's second time creating a theme and soundscape for Matt's work and the two have plans for more in the future. Paul can be seen in NYC under the name Paul Anthony for his solo acoustic performances, and Paul Anthony and the Marauders, for his power trio, which performs original music written and composed by Paul."
Yule Donald
Yule Donald is an American actor and musician from Detroit whose career has spanned four continents. He began performing at age sixand initially focused on music, which led himto international stages. Along the way, he was drawn to acting, eventually training ar the second Cityin Chicago, and The Actors Conservatory in Portland, Oregon. Now based in New York City, he continues his training at HB Studio while building a dynamic career.
Darlene Elizabeth Joiner
Darlene Elizabeth Joiner (she/her), writer of “Flooding with Binky,” is a New York City actress and writer with roots in Gary, Indiana. Her short plays, The 9 or 5 Theses of Karen Sloane, Dinner with Darius, and Ashes and Curds, have been featured at the New York Theater Winter Festival, Chain One Act Summer Festival, and SPF’s LUV Festival. Her stage credits include Marnie in Haley Platz’s musical adaptation of Just Little Women; Michelle in Riley Fee and Kathryn Loggin’s Love or Death Inside of a House; Meredith Gardner in The Venona Decryption; and Shalita and Pregnant Woman in Hell Cab with Theatre 68’s NYC Chapter. "Veronica Murphy (she/her) is an actor, writer and stage manager. She studied at Providence College, where she earned a B.A. in Theatre and Film, and received the Leonard Award. I'm a New York City guy who enjoys long walks on Staten Island's Midland Beach and short lines for Zeppoles at the San Gennaro Feast. My first short play (Vampire Pizza) is an ode to my never-ending love for pizza and campy comedies from the 80’s and 90’s. I am a Polish American native New Yorker, and I’ve studied at the American Musical Dramatic Academy for the studio program. This past January, I did a production of the Cherry Orchard for Arkadia theater company in Switzerland. I also have an extensive background in stand up comedy, I’ve performed in various clubs, such as Gotham Comedy Club, Eastville, The Comic Strip, and the PIT loft just to name a few
Troy Sorensen
Troy Sorensen (Man) is very excited to be a part of Vampire Pizza! He graduated from Hofstra University in 2020 with a BA in Drama. Credits while attending include: Troilus in Troilus & Cressida, Lysander and Flute in a 1 hour adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Elle’s Father / ensemble in Legally Blonde. He also writes his own music under the name safe return. A special thanks to Tony DeFeo for the opportunity and fellow cast mates for a wonderful experience! "Kaya is a NYC based actor originally from Boulder Colorado. She holds a BFA in theater performance from Hofstra University. Notable credits include Viola in Twelfth Night, Lira in Guernica and Katherine in Henry V. I want to thank Tony for creating such a fun piece and offering me the chance to be a part of it, my friends for being the best, most fun and silly people around and my family for always supporting my love of theater since I was a tiny child.
