Andrea Woodbridge

Andrea is delighted to be presenting her short play at SPF NYC 2025. She has appeared pas SPF festivals as well as productions on the Players Theatre mainstage such as Murder on the Links, Dark Ladies, The Hollow, The Stranger, Murder on the Links, A Man Among Ye, Blood Countess, and a Christmas Carol. Brenda Bell

Brenda is a NYC-based Theatremaker and is excited to participate in the 14th Annual NYC festival. She is thrilled to be working with her two favorite partners in crime, Sue-Ellen and Andrea. Brenda’s plays have been represented in eight previous SPF festivals, and she appeared as an actress in many of the festival plays. She started the Players Theatre Short Play Festival 14 years ago to offer an opportunity for playwrights to get their work on its feet and explore self-producing in an affordable and safe environment. Special thanks to the Players Theatre and the entire SPF team – Andrea, Kelley, Jess, Annie, Charlene, Larissa and Shino for their dedication and tireless support of all the plays in this fantastic festival.

Sue-Ellen Mandell

Sue-Ellen Mandell has appeared in many Regional, Off-off Broadway and Off Broadway productions. Roles include: Blanche: Streetcar Named Desire, Martha: Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Ouisa: Six Degrees of Separation, Escalus: Measure for Measure. She was nominated as Best Actress at the New York Theater Festival. Television work includes: Celebrity Ghost Stories, Investigation Discovery, Golden Corral and other commercials. She worked for Comedy Central collaborating to produce several Mini Mocks on their website. She has been seen in 20 productions, Off Broadway, at The Players Theater. Julia Genoveva

Julia has been in the entertainment industry since 2007 and she started as an Actor. Her passion and enthusiasm for Theatre, inspired her to create her own Production Company, Genoveva Productions  on 2009.  Julia had a successful/sold out run of the play, ""A Red Umbrella in the Crystal White Snow"" by Jack Dyville back in March. And recently acted with Peter Quinones in her play, ""Cold Food,"" which was Produced by another Theatre Company at the Producers Club.  Currently, Julia is writing new plays and working on  upcoming productions. Laura Walter

Laura Walter (she/they) is thrilled to be part of the festival and this show. Steven Anthony

Steven Anthony began his acting career in 2021. He has experience working in both film and theatre. Additionally, he also does readings and stage managing. Steven has performed in a variety of roles in a number of projects, including Alan Baxter's 2022 film, Exhorter: Portrait of a Street Gigolo (Bobby Watson); Tom Romano's theatre production, Bonhoeffer: Last Days (Sgt. Heinrich Fredrich); Lisa Stratton's play, Dead Game (Richard); and Karen Campioni's, High Occupancy Detour (Seth).

Isa Mellody

Isa Mellody is an actor, writer, theatre-maker, and native New Yorker–so she is thrilled to be participating in SPF NYC! She has a Bachelor's degree in Theater Studies from Duke University where she graduated with distinction and currently studies at the Michael Howard Studios. Most recently, she was the swing in "Duality" (Face to Face Films, A.R.T./ New York Theatre). Jacklyn Collier

Jacklyn Collier loves heartfelt storytelling, building community, and crying at coming-of-age montages set to indie pop. She’s thrilled to be directing Soaked. When she’s not acting, producing, or oversharing on podcasts, she’s cuddling with her two cats and plotting increasingly elaborate escape room outings her friends keep pretending they’re “too busy” for.

Nicole Rivera

Nicole Rivera is a born and raised Puerto Rican actress and recent graduate from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Previous training includes the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and Stonestreet Studios for Screen Acting in New York City, and has also specialized in stage combat with David Brimmer (rapier & dagger). Previous credits include House of Bernarda Alba (Stella Adler Studio of Acting), Blood Wedding (Stone Circle Theater), Macbeth (Playwrights Horizons), among others. (@nicole.rvra)

Lindsay Ross

Lindsay is a NYC based actress, writer, and producer. She last worked backstage on the Rainmaker, and is working on a few projects. She is excited to work on this beautiful show, Soaked, and share with everyone! Thank you for coming!!

Darcy Sternberg

Darcy H. Sternberg's plays have appeared in venues such as The New York International Fringe Festival, the Theatre For The New City, the Jewish Woman's Theatre Los Angeles and the Queens Short Play Festival. Her ‘A Perfect Love’ was a finalist among 600 blind submissions at the 2024 Waterworks Festival. Her fiction, person essays and one-minute plays have appeared in journals and newspapers including The New York Times. She teaches public speaking at the Borough of Manhattan Community College.

Herut Ashkenazi

Herut Ashkenazi is an actress and writer from Israel living in New York. She got her acting training both in Israel and London, has an Associates Degree in Acting at Nissan Nativ Acting Studio, Tel-Aviv, Israel and an  M.A in Theatre at Middlesex University, London, UK. After years of acting in the Cameri Theater, Tzavta Theater and the Actor Studio in Tel Aviv, and writing and performing her one woman play there, she moved to New York, to have a new beginning… She’s  happy to be a member of Theater68 and be a part of SPF Festival.

Theresa Yonash

Theresa Yonash is a New York City-based playwright and actress currently pursuing her Masters of Fine Arts in Playwriting with the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University. Her professional credits include Conrade (Much Ado About Nothing, Hope Repertory Theater). Her work has been featured with the Lift-Off Global Network Film Festival, the Student World Impact Film Festival, the WideScreen Film and Music Video Festival, CinePoint Film Festival, Re/Venue New York City, and the New York Theater Festival.

Joseph Fusco

Joseph Fusco is an actor, director, and drummer. At Players Theatre he has appeared in The Last Supper, Love Potion 69, Inheriting October, Our Daughter's Wedding, Under the Rainbow, Amazons of Tomorrow and Good Intentions. He is thrilled to be working with the Central Park Teaser team.

Gabrielle Perez

Gabrielle Perez is a NYC based playwright and (now) producer by way of Upstate New York. She is currently a member of the Women’s Playwrights Circle @ Speranza Theatre, and the American Theatre Group BIPOC PlayLab. Her full-length play Something More Than God was a part of Speranza Theatre Company’s 2023 Play Reading Series, as well was featured in Entertainment Community Fund’s New Works Lab: Cross-Gen Workshop in August 2022. Her short plays Next Day Delivery and Party Favors have appeared at Speranza Theatre’s Seasonal Shorts.

Cecilia Bracey

Cecilia is delighted to return to SPF for her third show. You may have seen her work in SPF BOO (A HAT BY THE SIDE OF THE ROAD) or SPF: LUV (MEET CUTE) Cecilia strives to facilitate stories that are, at their core, honest portrayals of the human experience. Recent NYC Directing Credits Include: DRY LAND, SORRY! WE’RE CLOSED! THE SQUIRREL WATCHERS Regional: SIX by Timothy Mason, and WHAT I WANT TO SAY BUT NEVER WILL. She’s worked as Director’s Assistant at Broadway at Music Circus, in the producing office at Powerhouse Theater, as the Management Assistant at Roundabout Theatre Company and currently is the Producing Assistant at LDK Productions. Monica Motta

Monica is overjoyed to be bringing “Dust to Dust” to life. This is her 4th short play festival. She has loved every minute of theatre life! She aspires to make a living as an actor & quit her day job. When she’s not working on a role, she’s probably in acting class or studying lines at one of her favorite cafes. Her dream role is starring in a RomCom. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Patricia M. Lawrence

Christopher Zaczek

Christopher Zaczek is a Maryland born actor and playwright. For 20 years, he lived, worked and acted in Seoul, South Korea. He has served on the boards of Seoul Players and Seoul Shakespeare Company. He recently returned to the American stage with Milburn Stone’s productions of The Crucible and Hamlet. His original play, Over the Hills and Far Away, has won both 2nd prize in the Seoul Players 2024 10 MPF as well as Best Play in the Theater Project’s 2025 ThinkFast Festival. Thanks to my friends and family, and especially Morgan for all their love, support, and fellowship.

Pixie Burns

Pixie Burns (Mari) - Is thrilled to work with Chris again. This is her second production with him. Her previous show with him was Upon the Hill and Far Away which won the award for best play in the ThinkFast 2025 play festival. Her other acting Credits are Hamlet (Tutor), Rocky Horror Show (Magenta), and Murder on the Nile (Kay Ridgeway). Pixie wants to thank her friends, family and boyfriend for supporting her show dreams. Pixie loves working with Chris and is so happy to do so again.

Mavish Khan

Mavish Khan is a corporate video producer from South Jersey. This is her first time writing and directing a short play (or any length play for that matter). As a longtime wannabe New Yorker, the theme of the festival was extremely fitting for her. She has taken classes at Philly Improv Theater, Helium Comedy Club, The Second City (online), Gotham Writers’ Workshop, and Cahill Writers Lab.

Priya Karki

Priya has done various roles that range from Deadpan comedic roles, headstrong to the point woman to the anxious, excitable girl next door.  Her day job is in finance.  Her training is from the Barrow Group and PEM acting .

Anuka Sethi

Anuka Sethi is an India-born, Dubai-raised, and New York City-based actor and producer. Growing up a TCK, she uses her multihyphenates to connect to her roots and is passionate about creating space for South Asian artists. Currently Artist in Residence at Live & In Color, recent credits include Luz in Alexandria (Pop Up! Productions/Dixon Place), #8 in The Wolves (Soho Playhouse), Sightings (Philipstown Depot Theatre/dir. Traci Mariano), Love Around The Block (Dave Malloy), and the award-winning short film Hide & Seek. Kevin Cheng

Kevin Cheng is a Taiwanese actor and writer based in New York City. He received training at the Neighborhood Playhouse and HB Studio. Theatre: The Seagull (HB Playwrights), It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play (Fiction Brooklyn), The Cherry Orchard (Under St. Marks), Pedo Punchers (Producers Club), and A Midsummer Night's Dream (A.R.T./New York). He recently starred in the feature film "A Journey of Jack." Kevin is deeply interested in telling stories that highlight human connections and explore how people grope their way toward a sense of equanimity in face of unexpected life events.

Emily White

EMILY M. WHITE is a director, dramaturg, and arts administrator. Directing credits include Dear Diary, I Hate the Dedham Mall (Chain Theatre Festival); Passover Parodies, The Box (Script Club NYC); Living Radio NYC. Dramaturgy credits include Coal Country (The Public Theater); White Rose, The Roaring Girl (Theatre Row); and more. She is currently the Editorial Manager at New York City Center and has a BA in Theatre Studies from Emerson College. She is a member of the Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas, and her work has been published on HowlRound Theatre Commons.

Hana Roh

Hana Roh is an international actor currently at HB Studio. She has been enthralled by theater's liveliness and togetherness since her experience as a dancer in Tennessee Williams Theater Festival(2023). She is currently in ensemble work production of Lysistrata. She aims to incorporate her training in Shakespeare, movement, Laban Drives with intimate and authentic storytelling.

Elizabeth McBryde

Elizabeth McBryde originated the role of Josie and is thrilled to be working again with the Dear Diary cast and crew. Her theatre credits include two International Music Outreach Tours, featuring performances as Madonna (Material Girl), Christine (The Phantom of the Opera), and Cosette (Les Misérables). Other stage work includes Janet Van de Graaff in The Drowsy Chaperone. Television: Lead role as Liz in The Season; featured in Double Vision. Elizabeth studied musical theatre at The Young Americans and is also a singer-songwriter in the alternative band Human+Human, currently creating a demo for upcoming release.

Riley Fee

Riley is a NYC-based actor-writer. Riley graduated from The Barrow Group’s one-year acting conservatory and has been a proud member of the 68 Cent Crew Theatre Company since 2019. Three of Riley’s most recent one-act plays that he’s written won Audience Favorite selections for the Players Theatre Short Play Festival in Downtown NYC. Riley co-wrote and starred in a full-length ensemble play, “Love or Death Inside a House,” which premiered this past October in Midtown NYC. Instagram: @rileyfee

Saturday Lawson

Saturday Lawson is an NYC based director, she has previously won the SJM play festival at the Vino Theater for her direction of "And Old Friends Are Gold" and Rally Point Productions New Works festival for "Out of My Head". She is so excited to be working with Riley on another project! "Minnesota Nice" is such a hilarious script and she is so grateful to work with such an amazing cast! Julian Guzman Abril

I’m a New York City based actor and have been a proud member of Theatre 68 since 2019. You can see me in the short-film “Submarino”, directed by Henry Lopez, and available on Amazon Prime. Also, I worked as a student in the first two seasons of the new “Gossip Girl” available on HBO Max. I have also participated in the 68 Cent Crew Theater’s annual one act festival in both L.A. and New York City. Most recently, you can see as Raul in the short film “River”, which is made its debut in many festivals around the country.

Kathryn Loggins

Kathryn is a Brooklyn-based actor-writer. Her one-act plays have been a part of various festivals in NYC, including most recently Theatre 68’s Annual One-Act Festival (“Loads of Love”), SPF LUV (“The Way the Cookie Crumbles”) and the Chain Theatre Summer One-Act Festival (“Oh, Snap!”). She has been a proud member of Theatre 68 for eight years, which produced the world premiere of “Love or Death Inside a House”, the full-length ensemble play she co-wrote with Riley Fee and starred in. She’s thrilled to be back at SPF and thanks you for supporting live theatre!

Sally Deering

At NYC SPF 2023, Sally Deering performed in and directed SIX NCIDENTS by Mike Rendino. Her play WHEN THERE ARE NINE played the Pride Arts Theater in Chicago in 2022. She co-wrote the Off Broadway musical DR SEX which earned six Jefferson Awards when it played Chicago. Sally holds a bachelor’s degree in Media Arts and when she’s not writing and directing, she teaches acting in New York and New Jersey.

Julie Praetzel

Julie Praetzel has a degree in Women’s Film for Social Change from Hunter College and is passionate about telling women’s stories. NY Theater includes: A Write To Heal - The Culture Project (dir. Karen Kohlhaas). Film: Devil in the Desert- (dir. Seanie Sugure), For Marta -Precariat Productions (streaming on Vimeo VOD), Impasse (dir. Sally Deering) Vicarious, winner- Best Actress, Adelphi Film Festival. Recipient of the Jack Doroshow Grant for documentary She Had Many Faces about women surrealists. Maryellen DeVivo

Maryellen is delighted to be back at SPF after debuting her play “Bits and Pieces” at last year’s Boo. After attending Playwrights Bootcamp at Colgate University, she began writing horror and dark comedy screenplays which have racked up numerous laurels, including winning Days of the Dead (twice), Dark Nights, and The Thing in the Basement film festivals. Maryellen is also an avid sewist with a penchant for historical fashion and is the costume designer for her play in addition to being its playwright. Elizabeth Wright-Williams acted in "Bits and Pieces" and Maryellen and is thrilled to work with her again as the director of "Track Change."

Ria T. DiLullo

Ria T. DiLullo is a native New Yorker and theater artist with a penchant for exploring modern myth. Emily Maria Diaz

Emily Maria Diaz is a Dominican American actor from Corona, Queens. She studied film and theater at Bates College in Maine, performing all throughout her undergraduate career, namely as Emma in Grand Concourse by Heidi Schreck and Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing. Now that she’s back home in the city, she’s excited to continue pursuing excellence and honesty on stage, but more than anything, she’d like to become half the storyteller her mother is when their family is sitting at the kitchen table sharing a meal.

Krista Piccotti

Krista Maria Piccotti is an emerging playwright and television writer from Northern New Jersey. She enjoys writing comedies that allow her to explore a character’s emotions as if she’s their personal therapist. Krista is a current member of Cahill Writers Lab. Her first production in New York City was at the New York Winterfest in 2018. Krista’s short plays were also produced in the New Deal Creative Art Center 10 x 10 festival and Marist University’s JP Anderson festival.

Austin Lightning Carrothers

Austin Lightning Carrothers is a New York based actor, producer, and director. Austin is a founding member of TroupEnigma LLC. After working for several years in theaters through out the Hudson Valley Austin recently moved to the city and completed AADA's Company Program. Austin is thrilled to be working along side such a wonderful writer and actors on this short play.

Alexandra Byrne

Alexandra Byrne is a British-American actor based in Brooklyn, NY. Originally from rural Leicestershire, UK, she trained at the Young Actors Theatre Islington and The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC. She’s performed in stage, film, and television, with credits including Pride and Prejudice, The Wolves, and Hay Fever. Alexandra made her New York theatre debut in Big Wave at the New York Theatre Festival. She has studied with renowned acting teachers and recently graduated as a 2024–25 company member at the Academy, where she played Agnes Evans in She Kills Monsters as her final performance.

Julia Kim Caldwell

Julia Kim Caldwell is a native of Toronto who currently splits her time between New York, London and Canada. Julia recently received a BFA in musical theatre from NYU/Tisch, where she played Natasha in The Great Comet. Previously she trained at ArtsEd, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s school in London. She has also performed with the San Francisco Opera Conservatory. You can most recently catch her starring in the TV show Gangnam Project on the CBBC. Keep up with her on Insta! @juliajcaldwell

Jonathon Ward

Jonathon Ward believes there are no small theatres, only small imaginations. He’s enjoyed the production, presentation and reading of his plays at: The Chain, FringeNYC, Metropolitan Playhouse, Birdhouse Theatre, Theatre Conspiracy, ATHE Conference, Little Funky Theatre, William Inge Festival, Barter Theater, InspiraTO, New Circle Theatre Company, Chelsea Rep, Abrons Arts Center, Little Victory Players, Community Free Theatre, Urban Youth Theatre, University of Chicago and others. John Zion

Holley Sorrells

Holley Sorrells (She/Her) is playing the role of Dana in the premiere of Ever Present Past. She is a recent graduate of The Acting Studio where her focus was on Meisner Technique. She also has a decade of experience as a improv/sketch based performer. She has just wrapped the movie Sides by Grant Harris.

Michelle Giusto

Dr. Michelle Giusto is a teacher and writer from Levittown, NY. Over twenty of Michelle’s original plays have been presented in regional and international play festivals. In addition to her writing, Michelle has been a teacher for 22 years and has earned a doctorate in Educational Psychology. She would like to thank everyone at SPF for the opportunity, Elisa and Brad for their talent and willingness to take on this project, and her husband, Stephen, and children, Maria and Vincent, for their endless love and support.

Elisa Emeritz

Elisa Emeritz, a proud Long Island native, is excited to join this production with her husband, Brad Morrison. The story of Kim and Ryan resonates with their own experiences. Recently, Elisa performed in A Christmas Carol at the Cultural Arts Playhouse, where she also assists the Resident Costume Designer. Her passion for theater spans acting, wardrobe, and directing. After a break from directing, she is thrilled to co-direct this production with Brad. Elisa is grateful to Michelle Giusto for the opportunity to co-direct and be part of this wonderful production.

Brad Morrison

Brad Morrison's journey has taken him from Long Island to upstate New York and North Carolina, and back to Long Island. Alongside his wife, Elisa, Brad has shared many conversations about moving, much like the dialogue between Kim and Ryan in A Real Slice of Pizza. Brad's love for the stage began this past December as The Fishmonger in A Christmas Carol at the Cultural Arts Playhouse.
