A word from our directors-
Co Director Royal Simmons: "I really enjoyed the experience of being able to Co direct alongside Brittany for Shrek Jr. I have been doing theater since I was 6 and I love helping the little kids grow. Im so proud of all the kids and I can't wait to hopefully do it again!"
Assistant Director Juliette Jensen: "I have loved being a part of the production team for Shrek Jr! I have been doing theater since I was a kid and am currently studying playwriting at NYU. I love working with and directing kids, and I’ve had an amazing time watching this cast step into their roles and see their creativity grow. Enjoy the show!"

OUR MISSION
Across Northern Colorado, thousands of youth and adults face obstacles that hinder their personal growth. Lack of access to positive outlets, safe environments, and opportunities to explore their creative potential often leads to a decline in mental wellness. Colorado ranks 43rd in the country for mental health issues and lack of resources. Our programs have proven to be a beacon of hope and a catalyst for change. However, our current facilities and resources limit our ability to serve our growing community.
FYL is launching an ambitious $2 million capital campaign to purchase a building our community can call a forever home. This building will serve as a creative hub for the Northern Colorado community. With your support, we can expand our reach and amplify our impact, offering more people the opportunity to experience the life-changing benefits of the performing arts.
