Once upon a time, Rickmansworth Players Youth and Junior theatre decided to put on a production…..
And it was a fantastic idea!!!
Welcome to the swamp and our production of SHREK! (Junior)
We’ve had a real blast putting this show on - it’s packed full of great jokes and songs, with funny and loveable characters. And at its heart is the wonderful message: to be who you are - everyone is special!!!
The children have been amazing - it’s always such a pleasure to work with our students and to see them grow in confidence and skills each year.
Huge thanks, as always to the team of adults who have helped us put this together - we couldn’t do this without you! Some of you have gone above and beyond for this production and we are ‘forever after’ grateful!
Special shout outs this year to Dave, who has not only designed the lighting, but also created and built the set (with a fab team!) and Melissa, who (on her maternity leave) has designed and organised ALL the costumes (with her fab team - including baby Ivy!) Thank you xx
