Welcome to the Arrow Rock Lyceum's 60th Season! Though much has changed about The Lyceum since its founding in 1960, our mission remains the same: to develop, enrich and engage our audience through professional theatre. We know you will enjoy the exciting work of our exceptionally talented company of actors, directors, designers, stage managers, and technicians throughout the year. We hope the 2021/22 Season will renew your delight in this remarkable theatre, set within the charming ambiance of the historic Village of Arrow Rock.

THRILLED to be back at the Lyceum performing LIVE for it’s fabulous audiences! Jane most recently played  Ernestina  on  the  National  Tour  of  “Hello  Dolly!”. Prior to that she appeared  as  Ray  Romano’s  wife  in the HBO movie “Bad Education” and starred in Broadway’s “Wicked” as well as on its National Tour (Midwife/Madame Morrible). Six  years  on  Broadway  in  “A  Christmas  Carol”  and  performed  as  Lady  Anne  in  Live  from  Lincoln  Center’s “Camelot” with Gabriel Byrne. Caitlin Witty is grateful to be back onstage with Arrow Rock Lyceum.  This past year, she spent her time creating theatre opportunities and safe spaces for children in her hometown virtually and eventually in person.  Favorite credits include: Swingtime Canteen (Arrow Rock Lyceum); All Night Strut (Crane River Theatre); The Little Mermaid (STL Variety Children’s Theatre); Break The Chain (V-Day, Eve Ensler/Debbie Allen), Stand Up (Feature Film premiering in Europe spring 2022).  Webster Conservatory 2019.  Thank you to the incredible communities and individuals who have supported theatres through this past year.  Thank you for your love.  It’s because of you we are here today.  Now let’s have some fun! Kristen Kane is rejoiced to join the Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre community! Most recently, Kristen toured with the Second National Tour of A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder as Miss Shingle/Ensemble. Other regional credits include Martha Dunnstock in Heathers: The Musical and Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray! Jean, a native New Yorker,  is just so happy to be out of the house. Her husband is even happier. After last year, he’s thrilled for her to be back in Missouri again and says she can stay as long as she wants! Which is just fine with her. Jean had a fabulous time back in 2019 here at Arrow Rock performing in Cinderella, All Shook Up and 9 To 5. Other favorite shows over the years include: A Christmas Carol (Geva Theatre), Sweeney Todd (Denver Center), My Fair Lady (Cape Playhouse), Mary Poppins (Alabama Shakespeare Festival), Mamma Mia (Northern Stage) and Sylvia (New London Barn Playhouse). She has co-created production shows for Royal Carribbean Cruises, and performed both onstage and as a studio singer at Tokyo Disney. Tim is thrilled to be back at the Lyceum once again. 40 years ago, Tim started his career on this stage. “This is a magical place!” 11 Broadway shows later,Les Miserables as Jean Valjean/Guys and Dolls w/Nathan Lane/ EVITA w/Ricky Martin/Santa at Radio City Music Hall(7yrs) Most recently the Bway Natl. tour of HELLO DOLLY, and hundreds of other off-Bway and regional productions, Tim and wife Jane Brockman(they met on this stage 28 yrs. ago doing BRIGADOON) share time between NYC and Hershey,PA.Tim continues to perform and teach/consult/concertize/pursue tv and film and is a Proud AEA member for more than 40 years. Special shout out to Artistic Director of the Lyceum, Quin Gresham and all Production staff for their commitment and dedication to Keep vibrant theatre going in Arrow Rock.

Charles Browning can be seen in the Hulu Anthology Series MONSTERLAND.  He was last seen in a benefit virtual reading of Cuttin’ Up with Classical Theater of Harlem.  He was in 2019 Pulitzer Prize winning Fairview at Theater For A New Audience, Berkeley Rep,  and SoHo Rep for which he received a Drama Desk Award nomination. Previously, World Premiere I Sing The Rising Sea at Virginia Stage Company NY: World Premiere The Capables at The Gym at Judson, The Piano Lesson, Dreamgirls at Gallery Players. Annette Renwick is thrilled to return to The Lyceum Theatre for the production of Sister Act!  She was in the Lyceum’s production of Oklahoma a few years ago and she played the part of Eleanor in the Lyceum’s production of Footloose two years ago. She is excited to perform with so many talented people. She recently retired from being a Music Specialist in the Columbia Public Schools. A big thank you to her family for support. After eight years of living in beautiful Bellingham WA as Chair of Theatre and dance at Western Washington University, Beth is coming back to Missouri and to become part of the Lyceum Theatre company once again. What an honor it was to play Aunt Em and Yente right before she left for her PNW adventure, and now the homecoming is complete with the chance to join the casts of SISTER ACT and MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS. She thanks Quin and everyone who works to make Lyceum one of the finest theatre experiences in the country. Now Beth really knows she is home.

Catera Combs - Michelle/Ensemble

Catera Combs is excited to be making her Arrow Rock debut as Michelle/Ensemble! Most notably she’s performed in: Beat Bugs: A Musical Adventure as Kumi, Em in Rise Up, and Ilse in Spring Awakening. Catera, a Columbia, Missouri native began her training at Stephens College, and earned her BFA in Musical Theatre in 2018. Since graduating, she migrated to Kansas City. Her training has allowed her to venture out into different fields such as modeling and film.She is representing both Kyndra Jade and Gracie Key Designs in KC Fashion Week. Woke Nation Studios has cast Catera in their feature film UNDERNEATH by David Kirkman.  Special thank you to her family, and friends, for their endless support!

Christine is delighted to be working at Arrow Rock Lyceum this season in The Little Mermaid, Singin’ in the Rain, and Sister Act! She is a 2021 graduate from Elon University and is represented by DGRW Inc. for Film, TV, and Theatre. Her favorite roles include Viveca in The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin, Ti Moune in Once on this Island, and John Merrick in The Elephant Man. Emily is thrilled to be back for her second season at the Lyceum! She previously worked as their Props Master for Cinderella, All Shook Up, 9 to 5, Murder for Two, and Fully Committed in 2019. Emily recently received her BFA in Musical Theatre Performance from The University of Central Missouri, and has previously worked as a carpenter and actress at Crane River Theatre Company and Ohio Light Opera. She also hosts a weekly film/comedy podcast What Did We Just Watch?! As always, endless love to her parents, Maya, Zach, and all her wonderful fellow artists at the Lyceum!

Ilana Gabriella

Ilana Gabriella is a New York City based artist. She first started dancing in Plano, Texas at the age of 6. This is where her love for tap dance and all things musical theater began. After graduating from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts she moved to New York City to continue her studies. Ilana graduated from Pace University School of Performing Arts with a BFA in Commercial Dance in May of 2017. Since then Ilana has continued to learn and grow in New York City. She recently had the privilege of performing choreography by Danny Gardner in The Town Hall’s Broadway By the Year and looks forward to future performances. Ilana is currently represented by Lucille DiCampli Artist Representation. When she isn’t dancing or teaching as a Pilates instructor, Ilana loves cooking, and snuggling her two kittens.

Robert Head is thrilled to be making his Arrow Rock debut this season! Most recently Robert toured the US and South Korea with the Broadway Musical Something Rotten (Nick/Nigel U.S.), regional credits include Tuacahn Amphitheater (Newsies/shrek/Mamma Mia) The Rev Theater company  (Austen’s Pride – A New Musical of Pride and Prejudice) and Portland Center Stage (Fiddler on the Roof) He also sang on Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas (Saturday Night Fever), and enjoys teaching private voice and piano lessons to kids of all ages through Happy Valley Arts Academy. Originally from Brooklyn NYC, Gabriel attended Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA where he received his BFA in Musical Theatre. Nick is thrilled to be back on stage performing. Nick has a BFA from Montclair State in Musical Theater with a minor in Political Science. Past credits include TANGLED, TWICE CHARMED, and DISNEY DREAMS on the Disney Magic. Amy Jones**

Most recently, Amy directed her first film; a cinematic version of the one-woman play The Pink Unicorn starring Alice Ripley, after having directed The Pink Unicorn at the Episcopal Actors Guild(NYC), The Cell(NYC), and Holmdel Theatre. Before the craziness that was 2020, Amy directed/choreographed All Shook Up(Flat Rock Playhouse), The Color Purple(Riverside Center for the Arts), and Sex n’ The City, (A Super Unauthorized Musical Parody). Amy has provided choreography for Broadway Backwards 8 and 9 at the Hirschfeld Theatre and Palace Theatre(Broadway), and served as the musical director for Texas In Paris at the York Theatre(Audelco nomination for best Musical Direction). Amy has provided dramaturgy for the new musicals Alice, Warsaw, and Junk: A Rock Opera. Member of AEA and SDC.

Opera: Palm Beach Opera, Pensacola Opera, Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Annapolis Opera, Inland Northwest Opera and Finger Lakes Opera with upcoming productions for Amarillo Opera and Opera Delaware. Theatre/Off-Bway: Party Face (City Center), Duck (IRT) and Lights on the Radio Tower (Five Ohm Productions). Garth Dunbar

Garth is excited to be back again! The Lyceum was one of Garth’s first professional jobs after Webster U and he has a part of 12 seasons at the Rock. Based in St. Louis, he is an adjunct professor of Costume Design at Webster University, and has worked with area theatres like STAGES St. Louis and Opera Theatre of St. Louis. Randy B. Winder

Lighting Designer

RANDY B. WINDER (Resident Lighting Designer) Randy is thrilled to once again be a member of the creative team for this production. Winder has designed over 120 productions for The Lyceum including Sanders Family, Forever Plaid, The Fantasticks, Always…Patsy Cline, Cats, Hairspray, Nunsense, Camelot, Spamalot, Children of a Lesser God, Tuesdays with Morrie, A Christmas Carol, The Producers, My Fair LadyPump Boys and DinettesLes Miserable, Footloose, Crazy for You, and Honky Tonk Angels. His expansive career in the professional theatre has spanned over 35 years and he is proud to call his fellow crazy bunch of theatrical misfits “family”. Randy is most pleased to be living both in the charming Village of Arrow Rock, as well as his 2nd home of Anegada in the BVI’s. He thanks his wonderful husband, Bob for his love and support. Jon Robertson

Sound Designer

Jon Robertson is a composer and sound designer. He is pleased to return to Arrow Rock. Recent composing credits include Death and the Maiden (Kansas City Actors Theatre), The 39 Steps (Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre), Men on Boats (Unicorn Theatre), And Then There Were None (Kansas City Actors Theatre). His solo piano work Sympathy Through Motion received its world premiere in New York City in 2019.

Hannah Zimmerman

Assistant Sound Designer

Hannah Zimmerman is honored to be assistant sound designing Sister Act. After a long intermission away from theatre, it is a relief to be back. She is based in Kansas City, and some of her A1 and sound designing credits include: The Revolutionists (A1, The Unicorn Theatre); Who's Your Baghaddy, or How I Start the Iraq War: The Musical (A1, The Unicorn Theatre); Something Rotten (A1, White Theatre); Pippin (sound designer and A1, Avila University); and Harvey (sound designer, Avila University). Her upcoming work includes sound designing at Musical Theatre Heritage in Kansas City for their production of Camelot. Hannah wants to send lots of love and thanks to her family. Without their never-ending support, she would have never made it to this point.

Jason Styres, CSA

Casting

Jason Styres’ Broadway credits include A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder, Dames at Sea, Disney’s The Lion King, and Nice Work If You Can Get It. Styres’ off-Broadway credits include Puffs, Midnight at the Never Get (York), Pedro Pan, and Neurosis, among others. His national tour credits include A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder, The King and I, Fiddler on the Roof, The Lion King, and Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. His film and TV credits include How You Look at It, Carousel (PBS), Six by Sondheim (HBO), and So You Think You Can Dance? Styres is a seven-time Artios nominee and a New York board member of the Casting Society of America.

Tony Dearing*

Production Stage Manager

Tony Dearing (Production Stage Manager) is very happy to be returning to the Lyceum for his twenty-eighth season. He has stage-managed for other theatres such as the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, the New Theatre, Muny Student Theatre in St. Louis and Arkansas Repertory Theatre.

Iván Dario Cano*

Assistant Stage Manager

Iván Dario Cano (Assistant Stage Manager) has a Masters in Stage Management from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and is an Alumnus of The Juilliard School’s Professional Intern Program. Credits include Barrington Stage Company’s Get Your Pink Hands Off Me Sucka and Give Me Back; Juilliard’s The Trojan Women, Crumbs from the Table of Joy, Plano; Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre’s Summer 2016-19, Million Dollar Quartet, Beehive: The 60’s Musical, Swingtime Canteen and A Christmas Carol 2015-18. He is very excited to be returning for his fifth year and Arrow Rock’s 60th year celebration!
