DIRECTORS NOTE
Something Rotten is a relatively new title that not a lot of audiences are familiar with and we are excited for you to experience this great musical full of heart and humor. This cast is composed of some of the areas greatest comedic actors and vocalists and we have all been working hard to make this title one of your new favorites! As usual, StageDoor is always a joy to with and everyone on stage and off puts so much of themselves into this process. You will see many beautifully handmade costumes designed just for this production, clever and unique set elements and overwhelming creativity from the entire team. Thank you for supporting live theatre and we hope your time with us is Something (very far from) Rotten!

Meet the Company
Lucas Barta
Lucas Barta is an actor and filmmaker born and raised in Colorado. He's been acting since he was seven years old, and he graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with a bachelor's degree in film and television. Recent theatre credits include Mary Poppins (Parker Arts and Give 5 Productions) and Chess (Bright Heart Stages). Lucas is stoked to be a part of Something Rotten! which happens to be his favorite musical.
Alexandria Bernhardt
Alexandria Bernhardt is a recent graduate of Regis University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance, a minor in Peace and Justice, and a Leadership certificate. While at Regis she was an active member of the musical theater ensemble, serving as president and vice-president. With eighteen years of singing experience, her performance credits include Judy in 9 to 5, Rosie in Mamma Mia!, Marie in Cinderella, and most recently as Magenta/Usherette in Stagedoor Theatre’s Rocky Horror Show. Alexandria teaches private voice lessons, and also works as a voice, piano, ukulele, piano playtime instructor, and Assistant Director at DaVinci Center for Musical Arts in Broomfield. Alexandria loves the Stagedoor community, and has worked with or directed all companies: Premier, Jr, Senior, and Adult. Alexandria has directed and music directed numerous musicals, including shows such as Dear Edwina Jr., Music Man Kids/Jr., Frozen Kids, and more and absolutely loves spending her time growing the voices and love for music in kids.
Kaylin Darst
Kaylin Darst is thrilled to be onstage this time at Stagedoor, having previously stage managed Sweeney Todd here last summer! Recent stage credits include The Sound of Music, Clue the Musical, and 9 to 5 for Parker Arts, as well as stage managing The Prom at the Arts Hub and Miss Nelson Goes Missing for Sasquatch. She thanks Tanner for giving her endless opportunities!
Sean Davis
Sorry for the smell but he’s back! Sean is returning to the stage of the door for the third time after previously appearing as Tobias Ragg in Sweeney Todd and as Nicky in Avenue Q. Thanks to Tanner, Heather, Nathan, and you for supporting small, community theaters!
Miranda Hunt
Miranda Hunt is a Colorado native who is excited to be making a Colorado debut! She graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee with degrees in Theatre Arts and History. Favorite past roles include Gwendolyn in The Importance of Being Earnest, #00 in The Wolves, Rona Lisa in ...Putnam...(Marquette University), and Sheila in An Inspector Calls (Sunset Playhouse). Miranda is an electrician at the Arvada Center for her day (and often night) job. Outside of theatre, she is obsessed with sports, most specifically basketball and can often be found tapping or doing ballet. Thank you Mom, Dad, Nat and the boys for all the love and support!
Olivia Kisicki
Olivia is delighted to be back at StageDoor this Summer for this Egg-static production of Something Rotten!! You may have seen her here the past two summers in Sweeney Todd (Ensemble/ Lovett U/S) and in Once (Girl). She hopes you enjoy this hilarious production and appreciates you all for supporting local theatre!! Much love to her parents and Kennedy for always supporting her.
Matthew Merlin Leon
Matthew Merlin Leon is a passionate performer who loves bringing stories to life on stage and screen. His most recent production was Finding Magic Mike, formerly on HBO Max, where he took on a unique and unforgettable experience in reality TV. Prior to that, he’s also performed in several different productions across Colorado, including at the PACE Center, the Aurora Fox, the Adams Mystery Playhouse, Meow Wolf, and many other venues. With a deep love for performance and creativity, he credits his family's unwavering support for shaping him into the artist he is today.
Aidan Mader
Aidan Mader is a sophomore at Regis University pursuing a degree in general music. He has played roles such as Sky in Mamma Mia and Pinocchio in Shrek the musical. He is incredibly grateful to Tanner for the opportunity to be apart of Something Rotten as an ensemble member. His favorite number is the Black Death.
Timmy Pamintuan (he/they)
Timmy is ecstatic to be returning to the Stagedoor stage for Something Rotten! Thank you to Tanner and Heather for all their endless love and guidance, they truly are good eggs.

Bryan Plummer
Bryan Plummer is completely thrilled to be back in the mile high! He was recently seen in School of Rock with Veritas/Parker Arts. Other Colorado highlights have been Igor in Young Frankenstein, Frog in A Year with Frog and Toad, Escape to Margaritaville, and Spamalot. Bryan’s favorite thaeatre highlights include Lion in Wizard of Oz, Lord Fancourt Babberly in Charlie’s Aunt, Ali Hakim in Oklahoma, Charlie Brown in A Charlie Brown Christmas and Lefou in Beauty and the Beast. Bryan lived in Salzburg, Austria studying music, and has had the opportunity to sing in over 15 countries plus all over the US. This show is dedicated to the memory of his mother.
Arianna Olivarez
Arianna Olivarez is so excited to be returning to StageDoor Theater as a member of the ensemble for Something Rotten. She has been performing at StageDoor for many years and featured in roles such as Greta in “Murder on the Orient Express” and Daniel in “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare.” Her most recent adventure included performing for the phenomenal group Magic Moments. She can’t wait to get back on the stage for this amazingly hilarious production!
Andy Ray
A Denver native, Andy has most recently been seen as Emmett in Legally Blonde (Sasquatch Productions), Brad in Rocky Horror Picture Show (StageDoor Theatre), as a company member of Stonewall (Benchmark Theatre), Rapunzel’s Prince in Into the Woods (Breckenridge Backstage Theatre) and Luke Skywalker in Star Wars Shakespeare (Fan Expo Denver). The majority of Andy’s time spent on stage has been with his students over the past eight years directing the Theatre program at Overland High School. Contrary to what you may hear from him on stage, Andy would like to state that he loves Shakespeare. He would like to thank Angela and his family and friends for their support and love.
Jason Rexx
Jason Rexx is elated to be in his first StageDoor production! Past favorite roles in the Denver area include Ensemble/US Monty in A Gentleman's Guide (Arvada Center), Brad in The Rocky Horror Show (Beehive Productions), and Joseph in Joseph/Dreamcoat (Performance Now Theatre Company). When not rehearsing or performing, Jason loves to travel-- 15 countries down, only 180ish to go! He would like to thank his family and friends for their support, and the theatre community in Denver for creating safe spaces to play and grow.
Nikki Salinas
Making her StageDoor Theatre debut, Nikki is absolutely thrilled to be a part of this production of Something Rotten. She would like to extend a huge thanks to our creative team and to everyone working backstage with us. Thank you for making us look so good out there! Some of her recent credits include: Guys and Dolls (Vintage Theatre), Legally Blonde: The Musical (Sasquatch Productions), Miss Nelson Is Missing! (Sasquatch Productions), School of Rock (Veritas Productions), All Shook Up (Town Hall Arts Center), Escape to Margaritaville (Give 5 Productions). Nikki would also like to thank her close friends and family for supporting her unconditionally as well as an extra large thank you to her husband Daniel for always encouraging her to follow her heart and for always running lines with her “one more time”. ❤️
Stephen Sbanotto
Stephen is so very happy to be back at StageDoor Theatre again after a few years away. He started acting in 1989 and fell in love with theatre, acting and singing. You might have seen Stephen at StageDoor over the years in such performances as Spamalot; I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change; Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, and Noises Off. The last few years he’s been very actively performing with the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus. When not singing and acting, Stephen is the Clinical Director for Acqua Recovery, a treatment center for substance use disorder, mental health, and trauma. As Brother Jeremiah, he is extremely disappointed in your decision to witness such a sinful spectacle and will pray for your souls that you might turn from your wicked and depraved ways!
Scotty Shaffer
Scotty is honored to work with so many amazing performers here at Stagedoor! This UNC graduate has well over 3000 professional performances since 2003. In addition to acting he's also a professional guitar teacher, and an accomplished professional dialect coach and director. He has worked with the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse, Midtown Arts Center, Vintage Theatre, Thingamajig Theatre (Pagosa Springs), Suncoast Broadway Dinner Theatre (Florida) and many more. When not working, he's found teaching tricks to his cat, eating delicious foods with friends, and forever learning. Special thanks to his parents. And thanks to you for supporting local theatre!
Jessica Sotwick
Jessica loves spending her summers at Stagedoor and is so excited to be back for another one. Some of her previous credits include Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd (StageDoor), Rosie in Mamma Mia! (StageDoor), and Adelaide in Guys and Dolls (Vintage Theatre). Buckle up, you’re in for a silly, goofy time.
Savannah Vedovatti
Savannah is elated to be back at StageDoor for another summer show! Her most recent credits include Eurydice in Eurydice (The Spark), Hazard, The Mutant Queen in the world premiere of The Android’s New Soul (The Bug Theatre), Johanna in Sweeney Todd (StageDoor), and Ensemble/Diana u/s in Next to Normal (Off-Broadway Arts). Endless thanks to Tanner, StageDoor, and this big and shiny, mighty fine-y, glitter, glitz, and chorus line-y cast and crew for putting on this musical!
Meg Willis
Meg Willis is thrilled to join Stagedoor’s production of, “Something Rotten”. Some of Meg's favorite past productions include: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Drowsy Chaperone as Trix, Once Upon a Mattress as Lady Larken, and Turandot with The Mississippi Opera. Outside of performing, Meg has been a choir director for five years, where she founded two a cappella ensembles that compete at the international level and has recently been nominated for a CARA Award for Best Scholastic Debut Album. Lastly, she would like to thank her husband, Asa, for his consistent support throughout all of her endeavors.
Tanner Kelly
Tanner Kelly is an award winning director, nationally recognized educator, and a Henry-nominated music director/sound designer around the Denver Metro area. He is a five time Henry nominee, including nominations for musical direction, outstanding production of a musical, and sound design. He also received a 2024 OSCA award for outstanding direction of a musical for Sweeney Todd. Tanner is the Artistic Director/Conductor of the Aurora Singers, the Musical Theatre Director at Regis University and is the Performing Arts Coordinator for PASB in Mapleton Public Schools. Tanner has directed, music- directed and/or played in the pit with companies such as Breckenridge Backstage, Town Hall Arts Center, Vintage Theatre, PACE, Performance Now, Stagedoor, Sasquatch, Veritas, Evergreen Players and Shifted Lens. He holds a music degree from the Lamont School of Music at DU, a teaching degree from MSU Denver, and has a Master of Music Education degree from ASU.
Heather Westenskow
Heather Westenskow (Choreographer) is extremely proud to be a part of this production! She has been teaching theater and choreography around Denver for nearly 14 years. This is her third show at Stage Door Theater, and she loves it every time! She has taught choreography to all different ages and is currently working as a Music/Dance/Theater teacher at The Logan School. You may have also seen her work at The Pace Center, the Vintage Theater, the Arvada Center, Mainstreet Theater, Reel Kids Theater, Chaparral High School, and Avenue Theater. She loves working with people, songwriting, improv, swimming, volleyball, her dogs, her three kids, and her amazing husband!
Savannah Poor
Savannah is a fresh face to Colorado! She’s moved here from Texas and has been loving the fact that there’s actually trees here! Savannah last appeared in The Wizard of Oz (Ovation West), Pirates of Penzance (Performance Now), and Cruel Intentions the 90’s musical (Shifted Lens). She was also recently in DCPA’s Off-Center’s Monopoly Lifesized Travel Edition. She is taking on a new role in Stage Managing Something Rotten and is looking forward to new challenges and meeting new people.

John O'Farrell is one of the UK's best known comic authors and script writers. Best-selling novels include The Best a Man Can Get, May Contain Nuts and The Man Who Forgot His Wife. Non-fiction includes An Utterly Impartial History of Britain , the political memoir Things Can Only Get Better and its recent sequel plus three collections of his satirical columns for The Guardian newspaper. O'Farrell's books have been translated into thirty languages and adapted for BBC Radio and television. Winner, British Comedy Award. Previously a writer (and later panelist) on BBC's Have I Got News For You and lead writer on ten series of ITV's Spitting Image. Currently writing the sequel to Chicken Run, and adapting one of his novels for Sony International Pictures.
