Meet the Company
Chloë Angst
Chloë Angst (they/she) is excited to collaborate on a new work! They survive and thrive in the Bay Area as a stage and screen actor, artist, musician, theatremaker, sewist, embalmer, and anthropologist. Recent musical theatre credits include roles from stripper to nun to axe murderer: the title role in Lizzie (6th Street Playhouse), Mae in Reefer Madness (Lucky Penny), Sister Berthe in The Sound of Music (Berkeley Playhouse), Pythio in Head Over Heels (City Lights Theater Company), Mazeppa in Gypsy (Palo Alto Players), and Reza in Once (Hillbarn Theater). www.chloeangst.com
Torey Bookstein
Torey Bookstein trained at the Thibaud Music Conservatory in Bordeaux, France, as well as with Berkeley Rep & SF ACT. Favorite credits include: Rosalind, As You Like It (Alameda Foodbank Players); Quince & u/s Titania, A Midsummer Night’s Dream (The Musical!) (Berkeley Shakes); Lily, Loose Knit (Masquers); Hodel, Fiddler on the Roof (Ballibay Theater); Karen, Chanteuse, & others, A…My Name is Alice (Roeper Theater Co), u/s Audrey, Little Shop of Horrors (Roeper); Stank, The Very Last One And Only Highly Endangered Mountain Lion In Pennsylvania (Musical Café). Torey has also written, produced, and directed seven autobiographical cabaret shows, including Parenting: How Bad Could It Be? and Parenting 2: I’m So Glad I Caught the Vomit In My Hand!
Grace Connallon
Grace (She/Her), a Bay Area native, is so excited to be back home making theatre and music, and even more excited to be a part of a beautiful new piece of theatre! She is a 2019 recipient of the Schmidt Vocal Institute’s Broadway Bound Award, a graduate of Oakland School for the Arts’s Musical Theatre and Vocal Music Programs, and received her Bachelor’s of Psychology and Theatre minor from American University. Favorite Credits include: Spring Awakening (Martha), Man of La Mancha (Antonia), Once (Eamon) and All Summer In a Day: An Original Short Musical (Zoe). When she is not performing onstage, Grace is a Preschool Aide at the Center for Early Intervention on Deafness, where she enjoys signing and singing with her students and hopes to become an Occupational Therapist. With Gratitude to God for this journey, Grace would like to thank her family and her partner, Conrad for their steadfast support of her passions and for being the best audience.
Nathan Correll
Nathan Correll (he/him) is thrilled to return to the Bay Area, where he first fell in love with acting through participation in regional theaters during his youth. He holds a BFA in Acting/Theatre Performance from the University of Michigan.
His most recent credits include Romeo in Romeo and Juliet at California Shakespeare LA; Edgar in King Lear and Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Prague Shakespeare Theatre; and Bastian in the feature film Friends List, currently in pre-production.
Nathan is also an SAFD Advanced Actor Combatant and serves as a fight choreographer and director for stage and film, with credits including Rabbit (Seasons 1 and 2) and the Los Angeles Fringe Festival.
He is excited to be back in the Bay Area working on Spirals and Dirt.
Michael DeMartini
Michael DeMartini is a third generation San Franciscan blessed to have performed in venues ranging from the White House to the Amphitheatre atop Mount Tamalpais. He is thrilled and inspired to be storytelling this original piece of art with this fantastically talented SPIRALS AND DIRT community, and is lovingly grateful to all of his 'Angels' who make his theatrical shenanigans possible with their incessant love and support.
Thadeus Gonzalez
Thadeus Gonzalez is a singer, songwriter, musician, and actor from Oakland, California. He has been active in the music industry for several years, releasing multiple albums and performing live at venues nationally and abroad. www.thadeusgonzalez.com
Sheryl Lim
Sheryl Lim is an actor, costumer, and stage manager from the Bay Area. This is her first show in the region since graduating from UC Davis in December with a B.S. in Managerial Economics and a minor in Theatre & Dance. Recent acting credits include: Farrah/Evil Tina in SHE KILLS MONSTERS, Phoebe in AS YOU LIKE IT, H in PASSAGE, Who in OPEN/STAY (UC Davis), and Kaylee in THE PROM (Woodland Opera House). By day, she works as the costume shop manager at Las Positas College and as the operations coordinator for Shakespeare & Performing Arts Regional Company (SPARC). She loves working on new and devised pieces of theatre, and was involved in many during her time at UC Davis. Thank you to the cast and creatives for all their hard work, to her friends and family for their support, and to you for supporting live theatre and new works of art.
Amosi Morgan
Amosi Morgan attended Cal State Monterey Bay where he earned his Bachelor’s in Contemporary Music. He’s had several ventures in theater in and outside of college. Including ‘Highlights from The Wiz’, ‘Alice In Wonderland’, ‘Oklahoma!’, and ‘Mary Poppins’. He’s also been featured in several short films and made a few of his own.
Bailey Sanders
Bailey Sanders is a Bay Area actress and model, with recent acting roles as Ronette, one of the Urchins in Little Shop of Horrors (Green Swan Musical Theater), and as a female Antonio in Twelfth Night (Inferno Theater). She is an author, and plays piano, flute and guitar. Bailey is excited to be performing in Spirals and Dirt!
Dan Schwager
Dan Schwager has performed in a variety of Bay Area theatre venues and is thrilled to be a member of this fantastic cast for Spirals and Dirt at the Potrero Stage. Most recent theatrical performances include Little Shop of Horrors for 6th Street Playhouse in Santa Rosa, Indecent at San Francisco Playhouse, Saturday Night at Grossinger’s for Sonoma Arts Live and Moll Flanders and Pet Lingerie at Ross Valley Players. He has also performed with Pacifica Spindrift Players in The Crucible, with Foothill Theater in The Diary of Anne Frank and in five productions for Actors Ensemble of Berkeley (Roe, Middletown, A Dybbuk, The Lady From the Sea and Rosmersholm). As a guest artist at the College of Marin Theater and Music departments, Dan has performed in the productions of Antigone, Macbeth, The Late Wedding, Frida, Rayok and The Black Spider.

Sean P. Breen is a dynamic composer, musician, singer, arranger and awarded educator with successes in a wide variety of musical fields including original choral works, advertising , gospel, pop, rock, and especially youth theater. Brandon Joseph
Brandon Joseph is a director, choreographer, and arts educator whose work spans musical theatre, immersive performance, and large-scale curriculum design. Based in San Francisco, he has directed and choreographed over twenty major musical productions including Beetlejuice, Mean Girls, Into the Woods, Legally Blonde, Newsies, The Lion King, Matilda, and Guys and Dolls. He is the creator of multiple original and site-responsive works, including The Stations I & II, an immersive performance series developed at Grace Cathedral with Stations III (still in conception). His original holiday work Milkshake: A Harvey Holiday! blends satire within a groundbreaking historical fiction setting and institutional storytelling. And while at Aspen Country Day School (Aspen, CO), Brandon conceived and led a comprehensive Shakespeare Festival, directing productions of Hamlet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Julius Caesar, Romeo and Juliet, and Macbeth. Brandon sits on the Board of Trustees at the American Conservatory Theatre (A.C.T.) and is thrilled to be directing the staged reading of Spirals & Dirt with much gratitude to Sean Breen and Barbara Burgel. Barbara Burgel
Barbara Burgel is a first time producer for Spirals and Dirt, having had a long career as a nurse practitioner and nursing faculty at the UCSF School of Nursing. Barbara is super excited to see this original musical by her husband, Sean Breen, come to stage, as directed by Brandon Joseph, and performed by ten talented actors. Christopher Hewitt
Christopher Hewitt is a professional pianist and music director residing in San Francisco. Christopher works in a myriad of different capacities as a professional musician, including Director of Music Ministry at Notre Dame des Victoires, accompanist for the National Children’s Chorus, and as Music & Vocal Director at Katia & Company in Marin. Christopher’s recent Music Director credits include “Spelling Bee”, “A Chorus Line”, and “Frozen, Jr.” Well-versed in classical music as well as musical theatre, Christopher often accompanies auditions, plays for cabaret shows, and provides music for private parties. Equally passionate about music education, Christopher also teaches private piano and voice lessons. Besides music, Christopher loves cars, finance, and traveling around the world.
