Meet the Company

Etta Allen (she/her)

Mrs. Mayor
Etta is excited to present Seussical! She is 10 years old and going into fifth grade at Edmonds Heights. Etta has been in the Edmonds Heights productions of All Together Now, Giants in the Sky, and The Adventures of Captain Starblaster, Nifty Fifties and Joesph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Anastasia. In Etta's spare time, she likes to read, play with her dogs, draw and dance. She is thankful for the opportunity to be a part of this show.

ElijahJoel Andrews-Teague (he/him)

Vlad Vladkoff
Ever since Elijah saw his brother in improv, he wanted to do a play with Dorothy. Now he now he finally gets to play in a musical! In his spare time, Elijah likes to sing, dance, and build with Legos. His creative spirit makes him perfect for this role.

Adia Best (they/she)

Gertrude McFuzz
Though Adia works hard backstage as part of the tech crew, this is their first on stage role since 2019. In her time away from theatre Adia is an accomplished artist and a national horse vaulting champion. They are greatful you came out today to support educational theatre and hopes you enjoy the show.

Eliot Best (he/him)

Cat in the Hat
Eliot is excited to welcome you to the world of Seuss. Last year he enjoyed playing Bruce in Matilda and Reuben in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, as well as spending multiple shows in the booth as one of the Noise Boys. Making this show special, he gets to share the stage with his sibling, Adia. He’d like to thank his parents for their unending support and the creative team for all they taught him.

Ruby Britt (she/her)

Thing #2
Ruby has enjoyed participating in EHPA's summer programming doing multiple summer camps and now Seussical. You've previously seen Ruby in All Together Now. Ruby loves singing - especially harmonies - and Hermione Granger. She hope that you enjoy the show!

Olive Brown (she/her)

Bird Girl #3
Olive is 12 years old and in sixth grade. She’s excited for the seventh grade so she can participate in animation class. Acting is one of Olive’s passions, she wants to be an actor when she is older. Olive also enjoys writing, playing instruments including ukulele, guitelele, and guitar, gaming, or making content for her YouTube channel.

Zora Brown (she/her)

Who
Zora is 10 years old and going into fifth grade. She loves acting especially the choreography because she gets to move her body. She also really like to act at home and fool her family by pretending like she is feeling something different then she actually is. She wants to thank her friends for supporting her.

Rowyn Caniff (they/them)

Wickersham #3
This is Rowyn’s third big play; they are enjoying it! They would love to be in Hamilton some day, and they could play any character in that! Rowyn likes to draw and craft, and to customize dino masks. They would like to thank Dorothy and the crew for a great experience.

Asher Carlson (they/them)

Stage Crew
Asher would like to welcome you to the land of Seuss! They are excited to support the cast working backstage. In Asher’s free time they like to roller skate and sing as well as play with animals. They hope you enjoy the show!

Amelia Cohn (she/her)

Bird Girl
Amelia would like to thank you for joining her for her first musical here at Edmonds Heights. Amelia will be starting seventh grade at Meadowdale this fall. In her spare time she enjoys all kinds of dance, especially jazz, ballet, and modern. She'd like to thank her sibling, Zeke, for their inspiration to pursue theatre.

Surya Deweese (they/them)

Horton the Elephant
After transferring from Shorewood, Surya is excited to start at Edmonds Heights this year. The last show they did was Lasso Moon, but Surya stays connected to music drums, bass, clarinet, tenor, saxophone, AND ukulele. In addition, they are also on the swim team and practice kendo, a form of Japanese sword fighting. Surya would like to thank his mom and dad for pushing them to do great things.

Salome Gonzalez-Angel (she/her)

Who
This is Salome's first production at Edmonds Heights! She is 15 years old and starting the 10th grade at Mountlake Terrace where she participates in soccer and swimming. She also enjoys playing piano and guitar. She'd like to thank Dorothy, Ilze, Dov, and Kat for making this such an enjoyable experience.

Violet Harvey (they/them)

Jojo
Violet has done theatre since they started to improvise plays with their younger sister. They made paper fairy wings and their very own costumes, performing for friends and family! They did their first musical in 2022 “Captain Starblaster” and decided to continue theatre and got into the Nifty Fifties! They will keep on acting their whole life and never stop. They also can pronounce their name in sheep! It’s “baaaa bah bah!” please address them as such if you ever meet. Enjoy the show!

Aava Henry (she/her)

Sour Kangaroo
Aava is 15 and in 10th grade. In her spare time, she can be found playing soccer, painting, going hiking and spending time with friends and family. Aava enjoys going to school and learning new things. This is Aava’s second show at Edmonds Heights. She would like to thank her mom for her support and encouragement.

Madelynn Holloway (she/her)

Who
Madelynn is excited to welcome you to Seussical. She enjoyed doing costuming this summer for Mean Girls. She is 10 years old and going into fifth grade. One of her favorite roles was playing a Ziggy Springer backup girl in Nifty Fifties. In her spare time she likes to craft, do art, and play with her cousin. Madelynn would like to thank her mom, dad, and brother for sitting through long rehearsals.

Katana Isaacson (she/her)

Who
Katana is ready for all things Seuss! She is a fourth grader at Hazelwood Elementary where she's previously participated in a production of Waving Flags. For fun Katana likes to play ukelele, do gymnastics, and play with her dogs and cat. She like to thank her dad for driving her, and Dov and Kat for helping her with singing and dancing.

Graham Kash-Blodgett (he/him)

Wickersham #2
Graham is 12 years old and Seussical is his third play. You've previously seen him as Riff in Nifty Fifties. He is enjoying musical theater! He is also happy to be attending Edmonds Heights this year. He has lots of interests, including aviation, paleontology, and climbing trees.

Jacob Kretz (he/him)

Mr. Mayor
While this is Jacob's first show at Edmonds Heights, he is no stranger to theatre. He's been in Tarzan at Driftwood, played Tad the Frog in Honk, and was part of the ill-fated, Covid-cancelled cast of Annie at Madrona. In addition to theatre, Jacob also plays percussion and piano. He'd like to thank his brothers, Josh and David, for modeling a love of theatre.

Cosmo Largent (he/him)

Stage Crew
This is Cosmo's third show at Edmonds Heights. You've previously seen him as Bob in Nifty Fifties and as Jacobs on The Adventures of Captain Starblaster. Off the stage, Cosmo enjoys playing drums and guitar as well as frisbee and skateboarding. He'd like to thank his parents for their support and encouragement.

Quentin Largent (he/him)

Thing #1
Quentin would like to invite you to join him for Seussical! A third grader at EH, this is his first show with EHPA. For fun, he likes to play on the playground, climb trees, and play with his dog Goji. He'd like to thank his parents for driving him and his brother Cosmo for showing him how fun theater can be.

Eli Lunder (he/him)

Lighting Intern
This is Elijah’s third time working in the tech booth and he is excited to learn. Elijah is 13 years of age and in the 8th grade. During his free time Eli enjoys drawing.

Avery Matheson (he/him)

Lighting Engineer
Avery is 15 and in 10th grade. He has previously been in many shows at Edmonds Heights and designed lighting for all shows in the last two years. Avery enjoys reading, watching YouTube, and playing Minecraft with friends

Thomas Matheson (he/him)

Sound Engineer
A recent graduate, this is Thomas’ last hurrah in the EHPA sound booth. Though he has been running the sound board for the last few years, he’s been working on and off the EHPA stage since kindergarten. From E-I-E-I Oops to Anastasia, he’s seen it all. Thomas will be attending Western Washington University in the fall. He’d like to thank his parents for their unending support, his Noise Boys for always having his back, and Dorothy for seeing the best in him.

Beckett Meabon (he/him)

Spotlight Operator
Beckett is going into 7th grade and Seussical be his 12th show at EHPA. You may have previously seen him as Jughead in Nifty Fifties, as Starblaster in The Adventures of Captain Starblaster, and Kevin G in Mean Girls. You can usually find him watching musicals, singing and prepping for the next show. Beckett wants to thank Dorothy, Marina, Dov, and Kat for giving him such a fun summer experience!

Landon Meabon (he/him)

Spotlight Operator
Landon Meabon is a soon to be 7th grader and this is his second show running spotlight. You would have previously seen him as a monster in "We Are Monsters"at the age of 6yo, where he decided that performing arts was probably not for him. He feels much more comfortable behind the scenes. Landon would like to thank EHPA and especially Dorothy for giving him this opportunity to try his hand at lighting.

Phoenix Meabon (she/her)

Stage Crew
Phoenix is thirteen and is going to be a freshman the next school year. She adores musical theatre and is so excited to take part in EH’s second summer show. When Phoenix is dancing and singing on the stage she can be found drawing, playing the piano, and hanging with her friends. She hopes you continue seeing shows performed in this theatre.

Kaspar Quincy Newman (he/him)

Judge Yertle the Turtle
Kaspar is 13 years old and going into 8th grade. I’m his spare time, Kaspar enjoys playing board games, watching horror movies and reading murder mysteries. Favorite previous roles include Mr. Wormwood in Matilda Jr., King Claudius in They Fight and himself in The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon. He would like to thank Dorothy, Marina, Kat, and Dov.

Otto Apollo Newman (he/him)

Young Kangaroo
This will be Otto’s 11th EHPA show. Otto’s favorite roles have been Colonel Chaos in The Adventures of Captain Starblaster and Ziggy Springer in Nifty Fifties. Otto loves to sing and dance, to play Pokémon and anything that sparkles.

Paxton Ream (he/him)

Wickersham #1
Paxton is 11 years old and in sixth grade at Kings School in Shoreline. While Paxton has performed in shows like Little Mermaid and Mary Poppins, this is his first show at Edmonds Heights. Outside of theater Paxton enjoys playing piano and running cross country. He'd like to thank his parents and his friend Deacon for doing the show with him.

Ilze Riekstiņš (she/her)

Stage Manager
Ilze, in fact, does not like green eggs and ham. Ilze has been seen previously as Johanna in Sweeney Todd (Village Theater) and Karen Smith in Mean Girls (EHPA), but this is her first time stage managing a musical. She is a 17 year old music student and professional actress currently working with women’s work productions. She thanks you for coming and hopes enjoy the show!

Jessie Riekstiņš (she/they/it)

Projections
Jessie is a pretty cool person. She has done projections before at Edmonds Heights and she had fun with it and is glad to be doing it again. Make sure to buy some consessions because it helps with future performances. Enjoy the show!

Asher Sansburn (he/him)

Sound Design
A recent graduate from being a sound intern, but still always Noise Boy #2, Asher is excited to be running the sound board for this production of Mean Girls. Though Asher is only 13 years old and going into eighth grade this is his 12th show in the last two years at Edmonds Heights. He is currently serving as Junior Thespian President. Asher would like to thank his fellow Noise Boys and the rest of the tech crew, Dorothy and Christopher, and Thomas for teaching him everything he knows.

Eden Sansburn (they/she)

Stage Crew
Eden has thought all the thinks you can think, twice, and put them in a lovely spreadsheet. This is their fourteenth show at Edmonds Heights, working behind the scenes and managing the stage crew. Eden loves plants, crocheting, and writing. They serve as the Edmonds Heights Thespian Troupe 7469 historian and record keeper and work to maintain our gold honor troupe status.

Elanor Sansburn (she/her)

Mayzie La Bird
Elanor has voted for the next show to be Seussical for years, and its finally time. This is her twentieth show at Edmonds Heights, both on the stage and behind the scenes. In her spare time, Elanor loves to play guitar, sleep, and hang out with her friends. Elanor currently serves as the vice president of Edmonds Heights Thespian Troupe 7469. She would like to thank Dorothy, Christopher, and Marina as well as her voice teacher Jordyn Day. Elanor invites you to stop by the concessions table and support Edmonds Heights Performing Arts Thespians.

Deacon Sele (he/him)

Wickersham #4
Deacon is excited to join the cast of Seussical which is his first show ever! One of his favorite parts of this show is getting to sing with his fellow Wickershams. Deacon is 12 years old and going into the sixth grade at Kings School in Shoreline. He loves to play video games, basketball, and with his dog, Charlie. Deacon hopes you enjoy the show!

Margaret Wilson (she/her)

Bird Girl #2
Margaret is 10 and going into the fifth grade. Margaret has liked musicals since she was three, her all-time favorite is Wicked! She likes getting to be on stage and acting with her friends. When she's not acting she's usually in her room doing art. Margaret wants to thank her parents for always supporting her.
