Drama Geek Studios presents Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

Set in the grimy streets of Victorian London, Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is a thrilling tale of love, loss, obsession, and revenge. After years of unjust exile, Benjamin Barker returns to London under the name Sweeney Todd, determined to settle a devastating score with the corrupt Judge Turpin who destroyed his family and stole his life.

With the unlikely partnership of the eccentric pie shop owner Mrs. Lovett, Todd's thirst for vengeance sets in motion one of musical theatre's darkest—and most unforgettable—stories. Filled with soaring music, razor-sharp wit, and haunting emotion, Sweeney Todd explores the fine line between justice and revenge, asking just how far grief can push a person before they lose themselves entirely.

A masterpiece of musical theatre, Sweeney Todd is equal parts gothic horror, biting comedy, and heartbreaking tragedy. We invite you to step onto Fleet Street... but perhaps think twice before ordering the pie.

Jon Lindeblad

Sweeney Todd

Jon is thrilled to step into the barber chair as the infamous Demon Barber of Fleet Street in Sweeney Todd. Past theatrical misdeeds include Gaston (Beauty and the Beast), Stacee Jaxx (Rock of Ages), Corny Collins (Hairspray!), Panch (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Frankie (Forever Plaid), King Arthur (Spamalot), and Chef Louis (The Little Mermaid). Whether wielding charm, comedy, or a razor, Jon is always excited to bring larger-than-life characters to the stage.

In addition to performing, Jon previously served as Co-Music Director of Hairspray alongside Sam Garcia. Offstage, he can often be found working in his family’s piano restoration business, proving his talents extend far beyond Fleet Street.

Jon would like to thank the incredibly talented cast and crew for helping bring this dark and thrilling tale to life, along with much love to his mom, dad, and beautiful wife Casey for their endless support. πŸͺ’πŸ©Έ

Heather Roland-Blanco

Mrs. Lovett

Heather is delighted to descend into the deliciously dark world of Fleet Street as Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd. Past theatrical adventures include Ariel (The Little Mermaid), Morticia Addams (The Baddams Family Murder Mystery), and Lucy (Dracula), proving she is equally at home in worlds of romance, mystery, and the macabre.

When she’s not baking pies “to die for,” Heather sings for both the living and the dead as a funeral and wedding cantor. She is also an accomplished opera singer and is thrilled to be making her Carnegie Hall debut this year—though thankfully under far less suspicious circumstances than Mrs. Lovett herself.

Heather would like to give a special shout out to Courtnie for introducing her to Sweeney Todd and beginning what has become a full-blown obsession with the show. She also sends heartfelt thanks to her parents, her boyfriend Jesse, her friends, family, and her fellow cast members for all of their love and support. Just remember: if Mrs. Lovett offers you a meat pie… perhaps ask a few questions first. πŸ₯§πŸͺ’

Nick Meurer

Anthony Hope

Nick is delighted to sail into the dark waters of Sweeney Todd as the idealistic young sailor Anthony Hope. Past theatrical adventures include Quasimodo (The Hunchback of Notre Dame), Ash Williams (Evil Dead: The Musical), Shrek (Shrek the Musical), Agatha Trunchbull (Matilda the Musical), Drew Boley (Rock of Ages), Bob Cratchit (A Christmas Carol), Arthur Roeder (Radium Girls), and Fred Gayley (Miracle on 34th Street). From heroes and monsters to ogres and headmasters, Nick has enjoyed every step of the journey.

When he isn't onstage, Nick's second love after theatre is performing in Barbershop Quartets, where he enjoys the challenge and beauty of close harmony singing. Fortunately for Anthony Hope, harmony is much easier to find than justice in the streets of Fleet Street.

Nick would like to thank the production team for the opportunity to perform a role he has had his eye on for years, as well as this wonderful cast for making the journey so memorable. He is honored to help bring this haunting masterpiece to life. πŸͺ’πŸ©Έβš“

Sadie Smeldino

Johanna

Sadie is delighted to wander the shadowed streets of Fleet Street as Johanna in Sweeney Todd. Past theatrical adventures include the Baker’s Wife (Into the Woods), Portia (Something Rotten!), Ellie Blake (Freaky Friday), Catherine Sloper (The Heiress), and Georgia Hendricks (Curtains). Whether in comedy, tragedy, or somewhere deliciously in between, Sadie loves bringing complex and heartfelt characters to life onstage.

Beyond the stage, Sadie is currently pursuing her BFA in Musical Theatre, continuing to sharpen her craft while chasing her passion for performance and storytelling.

Though Johanna dreams of escape from the darkness surrounding her, Sadie is thrilled to lose herself in the hauntingly beautiful world of Sweeney Todd. πŸͺ’πŸ©Έ

Drew Renaldo

The Beadle

Drew is thrilled to stalk the shadowy streets of Fleet Street as the delightfully dreadful Beadle in Sweeney Todd. Past theatrical misdeeds include Edna Turnblad (Hairspray), Dale Harding (One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest), Mr. Krabs (The SpongeBob Musical), Annas (Jesus Christ Superstar), LeFou (Beauty & the Beast), Rev. Shaw Moore (Footloose) and Lt. Jonathan James Kendrick (A Few Good Men).

This marks Drew’s fourth time playing a villainous sidekick—and, as he likes to say, when you’re good at something, you keep doing it.

Beyond performing, Drew also wrote and directed last spring’s junior production of Alice in Wonderland, continuing his love of storytelling both onstage and behind the scenes.

Drew dedicates this performance to the memory of his late father and late uncle, whose love and support continue to echo long after the final curtain falls. πŸͺ’πŸ©Έ

Eleanor Dishong

Beggar Woman

Maddie DiDomenico

Adolfo Pirelli

Maddie is thrilled to return to the dark and dangerous streets of Fleet Street in Sweeney Todd. Previous theatrical adventures include Waitress #1 (Rock of Ages), Shelly & Cheryl (Evil Dead: The Musical), Mark’s Mother/Ensemble (RENT), Pearl (The SpongeBob Musical), Julia (1984), and Vi Moore (Footloose). Whether surviving demons, dystopias, or suspicious meat pies, Maddie is always excited to help bring stories to life onstage.

When not performing beneath the lights, Maddie also works tirelessly behind the scenes as one of the talented costume designers for Drama Geek Studios productions—helping transform actors into everything from rock stars to murderous barbers.

Maddie would like to give a huge shout-out to her family… nearly half of whom are literally part of the show. She also gives a heartfelt thank you to Josh Reed and Drama Geek Studios for creating a home away from home where everyone can truly be themselves. πŸͺ’πŸ©Έ

Jordan Green

Sweeney Todd

Jordan is thrilled to haunt the streets of Fleet Street in Sweeney Todd, while also serving as the Demon Barber himself. Past theatrical favorites include Claudio (Much Ado About Nothing), Andrew Carnes (Oklahoma!), and Simon (Brighton Beach Memoirs), showcasing a love for both classic comedy and heartfelt drama.

Beyond the stage, Jordan has spent the past six years teaching middle school choir and theatre at Robert Lazar Middle School in Montville, where he has directed more than a dozen productions. Recent credits include The Little Mermaid Jr., Wonka Jr., and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, helping inspire the next generation of performers and storytellers.

Jordan is also excited to begin a new chapter this fall as the Choir Director at High Point Regional High School. He would like to thank his family, friends, and church for all of their love and support—and gives a very special shout out to his dog, Nicky, who thankfully has never been served in a pie. πŸͺ’πŸ©Έ

Kora Garcia

Mrs. Lovett

Kora is delighted to take up residence above the pie shop as the cunning and charismatic Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd. Previous theatrical adventures include Margaret White (Carrie: The Musical), Mimi (RENT), and Rizzo (Grease), giving her the opportunity to portray a remarkable range of powerful, passionate, and unforgettable women. She is thrilled to add one of musical theatre's most iconic characters to that list.

Outside the theatre, Kora is an Art Education major with a Musical Theatre minor at Kutztown University. She hopes to continue performing throughout her college career, combining her love of visual art and storytelling with the magic of live theatre.

Kora would like to give a heartfelt shout-out to her family and friends for supporting her in everything she does. Their encouragement has helped make every theatrical adventure possible, and she's grateful to share this deliciously dark journey with them. Just remember—if Mrs. Lovett offers you a pie, it might be best not to ask what's inside. πŸ₯§πŸͺ’

Logan Sellers

Anthony Hope

Michela Leiser

Johanna

Michela is thrilled to return to the stage and the shadowy streets of Fleet Street in Sweeney Todd. Previous theatrical adventures include Joanne (Rent), Roxie Hart (Chicago: Teen Edition), Amber (Hairspray), and Cady Heron (Mean Girls: High School Edition), proving she’s no stranger to ambitious women, sharp wit, and a little bit of chaos.

Outside the theatre, Michela is a rising junior at the University of Connecticut, where she is majoring in Diagnostic Genetic Sciences. She also serves as the president of UConn Hus-Keys A Cappella, balancing science, music, and performance with remarkable precision—though thankfully with far fewer razors involved.

Michela would like to thank her wonderful family for their endless support of all her theatrical side quests and adventures into wonderfully strange worlds like Fleet Street. πŸͺ’πŸ©Έ

Clayton Doyle

Tobias Ragg

Clayton is excited to return to Fleet Street as the loyal and lovable Tobias Ragg in Sweeney Todd. Previous theatrical adventures include Patrick Star (The SpongeBob Musical), the Ensemble (RENT), the Emcee (Chicago), and Davey (Newsies). Whether bringing heart, humor, or high energy to the stage, Clayton loves every opportunity to tell a great story through theatre.

This production marks Clayton's ninth year performing with Drama Geek Studios, a place that has become a second home and has allowed him to grow alongside an incredible community of artists, mentors, and friends. From childhood productions to some of musical theatre's most beloved characters, he's grateful for every chapter of the journey.

Clayton is thrilled to be part of this haunting masterpiece and hopes audiences enjoy their visit to Fleet Street. Just remember—if Tobias tells you something seems suspicious… you might want to listen. πŸͺ’πŸ©Έ

Casey Lindeblad

Beggar Woman

Casey is thrilled to wander the fog-shrouded streets of Fleet Street as the mysterious Beggar Woman in Sweeney Todd. Previous theatrical adventures include Sherrie Christian (Rock of Ages), Miss Honey (Matilda), Velma Von Tussle (Hairspray!), and Rona Lisa Peretti (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee). From rock-and-roll dreamers to devoted teachers and delightfully overbearing spelling bee moderators, Casey has loved bringing a wide variety of unforgettable women to life onstage.

One of Casey’s favorite parts of theatre is the opportunity to play strong female characters and carry a piece of each of them long after the curtain falls. She believes every role teaches something new, and every story leaves its mark on the person telling it.

Casey would like to thank the cast, crew, and production team for helping bring this haunting masterpiece to life. She also sends all her love to her friends, family, and especially her husband, Jon, whom she is incredibly proud to see stepping into one of his dream roles. Together, they're helping tell one of musical theatre's most thrilling tales—though thankfully only one of them spends the show wielding a razor. πŸͺ’πŸ©Έ

Ava Aulicino

Featured Ensemble

Ava is excited to make her way through the fog of Fleet Street in Sweeney Todd. Previous theatrical adventures include Wendy Jo (Footloose) and Crutchie (Newsies) here at Drama Geek Studios, as well as Miss Adelaide (Guys and Dolls) and Uncle Fester (The Addams Family). From lovable misfits to unforgettable leading characters, Ava enjoys every opportunity to bring new stories to life onstage.

When she isn't performing, Ava is preparing to begin her junior year at Moravian University, where she is pursuing a degree in Music Education. She is passionate about sharing her love of music with others and looks forward to continuing both her studies and her theatrical journey.

Ava is thrilled to be part of this haunting production and grateful for the opportunity to help bring one of musical theatre's most iconic stories to life. Just remember—on Fleet Street, not everything is as it seems. πŸͺ’πŸ©Έ

Cassia Beirne

Featured Ensemble

Cassia is delighted to return to Drama Geek Studios for her second production, stepping from the magical skies of Neverland into the shadowy streets of Fleet Street in Sweeney Todd. Audiences may recognize her from her recent performance as Wendy Darling in Peter Pan Jr., as well as Belle (Beauty & the Beast), Fiona (Shrek), and Jane Banks (Mary Poppins). She is excited to continue exploring new characters and stories through the magic of live theatre.

Although this is only her second production with Drama Geek Studios, Cassia has already fallen in love with the welcoming community and the opportunity to bring unforgettable stories to life. Trading fairy dust for Victorian fog has been a thrilling new adventure.

Cassia is grateful for everyone who has supported her theatrical journey and is excited to share this haunting masterpiece with audiences. Enjoy the show—and perhaps think twice before ordering the pie. πŸͺ’πŸ©Έ

Kary Lessack

Featured Ensemble

Karey is thrilled to make her theatrical debut in the darkly delicious world of Sweeney Todd. Though this marks her very first time onstage, Karey has been singing and performing since she was little, growing up with a love for music through voice lessons and choir.

Now stepping into the fog-filled streets of Fleet Street for the very first time, Karey is excited to finally share her passion for performance with an audience—hopefully without ending up in one of Mrs. Lovett’s pies.

Karey is deeply grateful for the family in her life who have always loved, encouraged, and supported her. As she says, she would not be standing on this stage without them. πŸͺ’πŸ©Έ

Genevieve would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Josh, Sam, Kayla, and Kelly for the opportunity to perform in one of her favorite Sondheim masterpieces. She also sends lots of love to the entire cast—both familiar faces and new friends—for making this production such a memorable experience.
