Maya Zayn

POWER (7/22nd & 7/25th)
Maya Zayn - POWER (7/22nd & 7/25th) Maya Zayn is a professional actress and model who has worked in commercials, film, and theatre. She began her acting career at the University of Kansas, where she studied Film and Media with a minor in Theatre. Her most notable works are Support Group, Tammi Terrel, True Colors, and Into the Fog. She made her theatre debut as Betty 3 in Jen Silverman’s Collective Rage, where she found her love for the stage. She continued to work in theatre as the lovable Jocelyn in Brothaabe Films and Terrace Studios, Once Upon a Time in France. This will be her second time working with Terrace Studios. She aims to work in voice acting, stunt work, and do more music videos! You can see more of Maya’s abilities in Camryn Caruther’s Perfect Machines and Erin Morris’s The Whisk, both to be released soon. She gives her love and thanks to those who continue to encourage and support her throughout her acting journey. This is her first performance at KC Fringe.

Markus Raines

Markus Raines - POWER (7/19th, 7/25th, & 7/26th) Markus Raines is a producer, hip-hop artist, and songwriter. Originally from Virginia, he came to Kansas City in 2010 and fell in love with KC's music and arts culture. He enjoys performing at events across Kansas City and is known for his fusion of rap, freestyle, and vocals. His acting credits in KC include the previous performances in Warrior’s Rising (2018) Hip Hop Cinderella (2024) with BRTKC, and Billy Elliot with MTKC Pro and the current performance in Charlie and the chocolate factory with theater in the park in shawnee. Markus is excited to be working with Terrace for the first time and to be back in KC fringe for the 2nd time.

Terrace Wyatt, Jr. - Producer, Playwright, & Director Terrace Wyatt, Jr. is a local actor, playwright, director, and producer in Kansas City, MO. Graduated with a B.A. in Theatre at William Jewell College and has worked full-time on stage since the pandemic. KC credits include: Fences (KC Melting Pot Theatre), Finding Nemo (TYA), Horse Power: Tom Bass’ American Story, The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (The Coterie Theatre); The Royale, and Peter Pan & Wendy (KCRep.); The Grapes of Wrath (The Arts Asylum) Boxed (Whim Productions); Dreamgirls (New Theatre & Restaurant); A Raisin in the Sun (The Black Repertory Theatre of Kansas City); Smart People (Kansas City Actors Theatre); Toni Stone (The Unicorn Theatre); and many more. He also assisted with KCRep, for Broke-ology by Nathan Louis Jackson. Terrace recently remounted his play Black Man, Missouri for KC Fr!nge at City Stage in Union Station last summer which received “Best of Venue” and nominated for “Best Play" (Professional) for BroadwayWorld KC Awards. As he continues acting full-time, he’s developing more original works with his production company Terrace Studios, LLC. Production credits include: Black Man, Missouri, Once Upon A Time In France (Co-Produced with Bratha Abe Films), Mel’N E [Melanin & Educated] (KC Fr!nge 2025), many more on the way! Ezra-Martinez Haskins

Stage Manager
Ezra-Martinez Haskins - Stage Manager After graduating from Washburn University, Ezra moved to Kansas City to get involved with the local theater scene. Ezra has worked at The Lawrence Art Center where they stage managed musicals, plays, and dance recitals. This past summer they worked as stage manager for Legally Blonde with The Stage Right Theatre Company, and as assistant stage manager for the Coterie Theatre's production of Horse Power. Other credits include Stage Managing for Hypothesis a Theatre lab's Exit 16 as well as The Coterie Theatre's Young Playwright's Festival. They are super excited to participate in this fringe production.

Orpheyuss S. Amissi

Assistant Director
Orpheyuss S. Amissi - Assistant Director Orphéyuss Amissi is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and performer born and raised in Kansas City. With a strong background in film and television—including appearances in productions for the History Channel, National Geographic, and PBS. As a proud Black trans woman, Orphéyuss is passionate about storytelling that centers truth, identity, and liberation. She’s honored to serve as Assistant Director for this powerful production.

Lindsey Edwards

Stage Handler
Lindsey Edwards - Stage Handler Lindsey Edwards attended a production of HELLO, DOLLY! at her high school and as she was watching, she thought, “I can do that too!” After that, she auditioned, and she did, in fact, do it! Lindsey returns to The Coterie after last appearing as a swing in CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY and as a production assistant swing on FINDING NEMO TYA. She previously appeared as Rhonda in MAXINE'S CHRISTMAS CAROL with Padgett Productions, and served as an understudy and intimacy coordinator on ONCE UPON A TIME IN FRANCE with Terr. Production and Brother Abe Films and as assistant director and intimacy coordinator on DRACULA: A COMEDY OF TERRORS with Cyclopedic Ensemble. Lindsey holds a BS of Theater and BS of Psychology from Kansas State University. She would like to thank God, everyone who worked on the production, her friends, Oreo and Ted, and her family for their constant support. She feels extremely blessed to be given this opportunity and work with such amazing people!

Nathan Wyman

Scenic Designer (ft. Cast)
Nathan Wyman - Scenic Designer (ft. Cast) Nathan Wyman is Professor of Theatre and the Producing Director of Jewell Theatre Company. He has also been technical director and stage designer since 1998, creating designs for over fifty productions at the College. He received the MFA (Master of Fine Arts) in Scenery Design and Technology from Northern Illinois University. Professional design work includes the recent premiere of Novel by Ryan Bernsten at The Arts Asylum this past January, The Foreigner (Firefly Events Center), We Are Blood & The Curious Savage (OCTA: Olathe Civic Theatre Association), The Laramie Project & Torch Song Trilogy (at The Arts Asylum), and he provided the stage setting for Glamorous Night: The Music of Ivor Novello at the National World War I Museum. For his 2010 sabbatical, he worked with Running With Scissors Theatre Company in Hertfordshire, England, on Darkness Falls & The Monkey’s Paw. He recently joined the staff of the 2025 KC Fringe Festival as the Production Manager/Technical Director where he will supervise technicians at 10 different performance venues in KC for the two-week festival this July. He is grateful for the unending support of his partner Julianne Donovan.

Dennis Jackson

Sound Designer
Dennis Jackson - Sound Designer Dennis Jackson, is a Kansas City native. He designed sound for Jackie Sibblies Drury’s Fairview, James Baldwin’s Amen Corner, Brysen Boyd’s Family SideShow at KC Melting Pot Theater, Dominique Morriseau’s Skeleton Crew at Kansas City Actors Theater, Terrace Wyatt, Jr’s Black Man, MO at Terrace Studios, Kenneth Jones’ Alabama Story at Metropolitan Ensemble Theater and Robert and Willie Reale’s A Year With Frog and Toad at The Coterie Theater. He has appeared in August Wilson’s King Hedly ll, Two Trains Running, Piano Lesson, Seven Guitars and Fences; Robert O’Hara’s Barbecue and Lewis Morrow’s Six O’clock, to name a few, all with KC Melting Pot Theater, crafting the soundscapes for these productions, as well. He has also appeared in Lorraine Hansberry’s A Raisin In The Sun and Keenan Scott ll’s Thoughts Of A Colored Man, both with Black Rep KC. Dennis wishes Terrace, the cast and crew every success!
