Note from the Director of Spelling Bee:

I want to thank everybody who came to PAC's production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. If I ever told freshman Ali that we'd be directing a PAC show my junior year, she'd laugh and call me crazily ambitious. This show has been in the works for over a year now, and I'd like to personally thank my best friends Riley Stanton, Molly Herman, Syd Sider, and Aidan Heaney for that silly little night in Olean, NY that sparked this whole idea. This show has been nothing short of a pleasure to direct and I'm so proud of my cast and crew for putting my vision to life in ways I could've never imagined. I hope this show is a good palate cleanser for all the hardships and tough conversations that have been going on in our lives recently. I want the audience to sit back, relax, and LAUGH. I believe that all theatre is incredibly important, and it's a great way to get people to think and change for the better, and although this show touches on some very important topics, I want you all to be able to not have to rack your brains and just feel during this show. I invite you to laugh, cry, and all that's in between.
