A word from the director

Welcome to Gaslight Theatre's Annual Dinner Theatre Fundraiser! Our annual fundraiser supports our mission and provides for our general funds to help keep our non-profit going. This year we once again have our silent auction and a 50/50 raffle to help raise funds that are going into our theatre's capital campaign project. With your support, we are renovating our building, located at 221 N. Independence, from front to back and top to bottom. With our renovations, we hope to honor this 100 year old building and keep it the center for performing art in Enid for the next 100 years. We'd like to offer a special thank you to the local businesses that provided unique and creative items for our silent auction.

Tonight you also walk back in time to 1989. This year we're doing something very different. You are part of the Wanaget High Senior Class. I'm officially giving you permission to get on the dance floor, interact with the actors, play the arcade cabinets, and be a part of the teenage drama! And if you'd rather remain at your seat and watch the drama unfold from your table you can do that too. You'll have as much fun tonight as you put into it. It's YOUR senior prom.

A part of Gaslight's vision is to push the limits with innovation and creativity and this show has really pushed the cast and crew. We are so thankful to Park Avenue Thrift for providing funds for a master class for our cast by comedian Jamie Campbell. We're also so grateful to all the local businesses that offer their services to us.

Meet the Company

Tiffany Harvey

Melissa Ann "Missy" Martin
Tiffany Harvey - Melissa Ann Tiffany Harvey is excited to return to the stage. Her last stage appearances were as sound wizardess, Lana Sherwood, in "War of the Worlds: The Panic Broadcast," as a stabby senator, Trebonius, in "Julius Caesar", and as a strong willed blind woman, Susan, in "Wait Until Dark." When not on stage her volunteer time is spent working on the Gaslight Capital Campaign, raising money to renovate our 102 year old building. She would like to thank her husband Brandon for his support of this new found love of theatre.

Bailey Wilson

Whitley Whitiker
Bailey Wilson - Whitley Whitiker Bailey Wilson has been volunteering at the Gaslight since she was 13, both on and off the stage. She currently serves on the board and is the chair of the Shakespeare in the Park committee. You may remember her from last year's dinner theatre as Yvette in "Clue." Some of her other favorite roles include Cassius in "Julius Caesar," Estelle in "No Exit," and Jo in "Little Women." She would like to thank her husband Alex and her dear friends Chad and Charlet for all of their support. "Remember, a vote for me is a vote for the person you wish you could be."

Erika Christner

Kerrie Kowalski
Erika Christner - Kerrie Kowalski This is Erika Christner's fourth show on stage at Gaslight, but it's unlike any before. You most recently saw her running across the stage and moving large doors in last summer's musical, Lucky Stiff as stage manager. While theater is a passion for Erika, you can also find her running OAAC, an academic competition non-profit organization. Erika would like to thank Charlet and Tiffany for this chance to be part of something brand new to Gaslight. She would also like to thank her cast and crew for their unfailing support both on the stage and off. Finally, she would like to thank her family for taking care of the four-legged children during the run!

Summer Brandley

Inga Swanson
Summer Brandley - Inga Swanson Summer Brandley was coaxed into her first performance with Gaslight and she’s excited to have taken the leap. Much like her character Inga Swanson, Summer loves to dance. Summer graduated in 2020 with a Performing Arts degree in Dance Performance from Wichita State University. She works as a performer, instructor and personal trainer at GYM located downtown. She wants to thank the cast and crew for being so welcoming!

Blake Recknagel

Dickie Harrington
Blake Recknagel - Dickie Harrington Blake Recknagel a member of Gaslight for over a decade, has enjoyed playing the not so nice Drama Queen Dickie Harrington. This cast has been a circus of talent from day one to work with and gives big thanks to Director Charlet for bringing a new wave of theater to The Gaslight audiences. P.S. Missy Sux. xoxo

Evan Chermack

Blake Williams
Evan Chermack - Blake Williams Evan Chermack has been volunteering at the Gaslight Theatre for 15 years. He now sits on the board of directors at Gaslight and is happy to return to the stage in his role as Blake Williams, although he had to learn what football was and the terminology that goes with it. When he isn’t on stage you can find Evan in his wood shop or out in the vegetable garden.

Alex Johnson

Michael Jay
Alex Johnson - Michael Jay Alex Johnson is excited to return to the dinner theatre stage with Gaslight and Stride. You may have seen him in last year as Mr. Green in "Clue," and as Dr. Lyman in "Bus Stop" (2019). Originally from Virginia, he worked professionally with the Richmond Shakespeare company from 2015 to 2018. Happy as always to be sharing the craft with a group of talented and kind people, he would like to thank his wonderful wife Bailey Wilson for her endless patience with his terrible jokes and his habit of leaving socks around the house.

Joe Malan

Louis Fensterspock
Joe Malan - Louis Fensterspock Joe Malan was pretty much Louis Fensterspock in high school, without the technical knowledge of computers or love of math. Actually, this is his very first prom. But it’s more fun than he could have ever imagined. He would like to thank his director as well as his fellow members of the cast in welcoming him into the Gaslight Theatre family. This is his second show, following “War of the Worlds: The Panic Broadcast.” Joe is an editor at the Enid News & Eagle and an avid astronomy enthusiast. Oh, and thanks to “The Awesome 80s Prom,” Joe can solve a Rubik’s Cube. Well, almost.

Jacob Hassler

Fueng Schwey
Jacob Hassler - Fueng Schwey No way Jose! This is Jacob Hassler’s 15th show with Gaslight. Jacob, like Fueng, is from the far east! He is very excited as this is his first dinner theater show! He would like to thank this amazing cast and crew, as well as the amazing director, Charlet! This has been an amazing opportunity.

Matt Palmer

Nick Fender
Matt Palmer - Nick Fender This is Matt Palmer's 9th performance at Gaslight. He would like to assure all patrons he isn't an asshole. Honest. Nick Fender does not represent the views or opinions of Matt Palmer in any way. Please accept Matt's sincerest apology for everything his character says and does this evening. Unless, of course, you like it. In which case, you probably need therapy and his apology.

Jonathan Wilson

Johnny J. Hughes
Jonathan Wilson - Johnny J. Hughes You may remember Jonathan Wilson at Gaslight Theatre as Chief of Police in last year's dinner theatre, "Clue", or more recently as the Sherriff in October's "Misery." He is thrilled to not be playing a cop for his third show at Gaslight Theatre. On Sundays, you can continue to catch Jonathan with a microphone in hand as the worship leader at Westminster Church, or with a drill in his hand for the rest of the week as he works on his historic home in the Waverly District. Jonathan gives a big thank you to Charlet Ringwald for being an amazing director and a big sloppy kiss to his bodacious bride, Jamie Leah for stepping out of her comfort zone and onto the stage for the first time.

Christopher McDaniel

Principal Richard
Christopher McDaniel - Principal Richard Christopher McDaniel is honored to be a part of this incredible cast of 80’s Misfits! He has been in several Gaslight productions, but none like this. He thanks his wife, Lorinda, the production team, Charlet Ringwald, Tiffany Harvey, and all of our sponsors.

Katie Pearce

Mrs. Patty Lascalzo
Katie Pearce - Mrs. Patty Lascalzo Katie Pearce is so excited to be the teacher she always wanted to be…not! It is fun to look all the stereotypes in the face and take them for what they are worth: Nothing. Being onstage is always a thrill, but to be onstage with friends and incredible actors is the best. Thank you, Charlet, for this opportunity. And thanks to everyone for making it so fun.

Chad Swanson

Joshua "Beef" Beefarowski
Chad Swanson - Joshua Chad Swanson is a native of Woodward, OK and a graduate of OSU. After growing up performing with OnStage Woodward, Chad has now featured in Gaslight Theatre since 2017. He last appeared as Harry Witherspoon in the summer musical "Lucky Stiff," and will direct "Savage in Limbo" this summer in the newly-renovated Turpin at Gaslight! Chad would like to thank his brilliant and beautiful wife Charlet for crafting this amazing hybrid of gala and show; it has been an honor playing "The Beefer." Chad hopes you all have a totally tubular time, and that you let him sneak a bite off your plate. Class of '89 rules!

Kayla Elmore Beech

Heather Wellington (#1)
Kayla Elmore Beech - Heather Wellington (#1) Kayla Beech is appearing in her first Gaslight performance. She is most recognizable from local Evans commercials. Kayla often claims to have 20 kids, but there are only four. Kayla enjoys being social and is also slightly clumsy just like her character. There are "do not run" signs in place near a certain set of stairs in Kayla's honor. Kayla enjoys fishing, hiking, yoga and reading. Kayla hates chick flicks and loves metal music. Kayla is new again to the Enid area and has found this experience a wonderful way to get back into the community and meet new people. She could not have wished for a better cast to be apart of. Kayla is eternally grateful to Charlet for her guidance, expertise, love for the theater and friendship.

Jamie Leah Wilson

Heather Wynters (#2)
Jamie Leah Wilson - Heather Wynters (#2) Jamie Leah Wilson is thrilled to take a leap of faith in her debut performance with Gaslight Theatre. For the last year, she has experienced how welcoming the Gaslight community has been through her husband Jonathan's involvement in various shows. Jamie has spent many years behind the scenes as an international puppeteer, traveling wedding and runway makeup artist. Jamie enjoys spending her free time in Enid by volunteering for Main Street Enid, Gaslight Revival Committee and starting a non-profit to benefit youth in our community. This year, Jamie decided to branch out of her comfort zone as she will not only be performing with a theater group for the first time as well as competing as Mrs. Enid for the state title of Mrs. Oklahoma 2023. Jamie would like to give a huge thank you to Charlet and Tiffany for choosing her for this launching role into stardom and a shout out to my husband for supporting and encouraging her in every adventure!

Venson Fields

The Mystery Guest
Venson Fields - The Mystery Guest Venson Fields was born and raised in Enid, OK, is huge fan of The Arts in all guises, and is participating in his 4th dinner theatre. “Each show in which I participate is special but this one hits all the nostalgia buttons as I was a teen of the 80s.”

Jake Krumwiede

Lloyd Parker
Jake Krumwiede - Lloyd Parker Jake Krumwiede is not a freshman. He is, actually, the director at the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center and is almost a full grown man. You might have seen him in previous Gaslight shows, such as "Lucky Stiff," "The Importance of Being Earnest," and "War of the Worlds: the Panic Broadcast." He has never worn parachute pants before, but likes them more than he thought.

Riley Burnham

Molly Parker
Riley Burnham - Molly Parker This is Riley Burnham’s second show with Gaslight. Last time you saw her she was the famous Gold Night in "Excalibur" in 2021. Though she may be playing a freshman, Riley is actually a senior at Pond Creek Hunter High School. Furthermore, unlike Molly Parker, Riley does not want to ruin anyone’s lives or manipulate people for her benefit.

Charlet Ringwald

Director
Charlet Ringwald - Director Charlet Ringwald has been a part of the Gaslight since 2002. She last appeared in The Importance of Being Earnest and Lucky Stiff. Charlet earned her BFA in theatre performance at OSU and is currently Gaslight Theatre Board President. She would like to thank everyone who's been a part of this production and helped her put the fun in fundraising! Special thanks to Tiffany, Tim, and Carmen for helping every step of the way! Also she'd like to thank her husband Chad for his never-ending love and support.

Tiffany Harvey

Assistant Director
Tiffany Harvey - Assistant Director Tiffany Harvey is excited to return to the stage. Her last stage appearances were as sound wizardess, Lana Sherwood, in War of the Worlds: The Panic Broadcast, as a stabby senator, Trebonius, in Julius Caesar, and as a strong willed blind woman, Susan, in Wait Until Dark. When not on stage her volunteer time is spent working on the Gaslight Capital Campaign, raising money to renovate our 102 year old building. She would like to thank her husband Brandon for his support of this new found love of theatre.

Dylan Moser

Stage Manager/ Light Tech
Dylan Moser - Stage Manager/ Light Tech

Sophia Arnold

Assistant Stage Manager
Sophia Arnold - Assistant Stage Manager Sophia Arnold is a homeschooled Senior in high school, so this show is kinda like a real prom for her! This is her third time stage managing and she is very proud of the skills she has acquired while participating at Gaslight! She hopes to have a totally awesome time in her remainder of high school and Gaslight!
