Jude Netanel

Jude Netanel is a Theatre major focusing on Acting and Live Audio. A graduate of James E. Taylor High School in Katy, Texas, Jude's goal after earning an associate degree is to begin auditioning and building professional connections in the industry.

Joyous Feagins

Joyous Feagins is thrilled to take the stage as the Fairy Godmother in The Big Bad Musical. As a Theatre major at Blinn College, she is passionate about performance and storytelling. Following her time at Blinn, Joyous plans to transfer to a university to continue her education and pursue her theatrical goals. She would like to thank her family, friends, and the cast and crew for their constant support.

Marilis Alvarado

Marilis Alvarado is a Theatre Arts major with a focus on acting. A graduate of Navasota High School in Navasota, her goal after completing her studies at Blinn College is to attend either Texas State University or Texas Tech University. She would like to thank her mom, her high school teacher Mrs. FitzSimon, and Mr. and Mrs. Patrick for their support.

Lanna Solomon

Lanna Solomon is a Theatre major from Onalaska and a graduate of Onalaska Jr/Sr High School. Her primary focus in the theatre program is acting and costuming. After her time at Blinn College, Lanna plans to transfer to a university to complete her degree. She would like to send a special thank you to her Grandma for her continued support.

Keylan Richardson

Keylan Richardson is a Theatre major from Navasota, Texas, and a graduate of Navasota High School. His focus spans all areas of the theatre program, including acting, musical theatre, tech, costume design, and education. After Blinn College, Keylan plans to transfer to earn an additional degree, with aspirations to work on Disney projects, pursue voice acting, and eventually act on the big screen. He would like to thank his grandmother and Mr. and Mrs. Patrick for their support.

Jennifer Patrick

Jennifer Patrick is a passionate theatre educator, designer, director, and actor dedicated to inspiring and mentoring the next generation of theatre artists. At Blinn College, Jennifer teaches courses in Acting 1, Stage Makeup, Costume Technology, Intro to Stage Design, Stage Movement and Film Appreciation. She has enjoyed contributing as an actor in Blinn faculty showcases, performing in Steel Magnolias, Arsenic and Old Lace, Chemical Imbalance, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. She has also directed several productions at Blinn, including Greater Tuna, The Odd Couple, The Island of Dr Moreau, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Young Frankenstein, The Boys Next Door, and The Bible: The Complete Word of God Abridged.

Before coming to Blinn, Jennifer taught courses at Texas A&M, Columbus State University (GA), Kingwood College (TX) and the University of North Carolina in Greensboro.  She has designed costumes for professional theatres in Texas, Georgia, Virginia, North Carolina and New Hampshire.

In addition to her work at Blinn, Jennifer is celebrating her 20th year as the Theatre Arts Director for the Brenham Children’s Chorus. There she directs two musicals annually for 5th-8th grade students. One of her greatest joys is having a BCC theatre kid become a Blinn College theatre kid.

Jennifer has received the Teaching Excellence Award from Blinn College and is this year's recipient of the TxETA Higher Educator of the Year.

She holds a BFA in Theatre from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX, and an MFA in Theatre Design from the University of North Carolina in Greensboro.

FUN FACT! Jennifer & Kevin's daughter, Rylie Patrick, is one of the Theatre Directors at Brenham High School. 

Kevin Patrick

Kevin Patrick has served as the Technical Theatre Arts Director for Blinn College – Brenham since 2005.  A graduate of The University of North Carolina – Greensboro (MFA – Theatre Design) and Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX (BA - Theatre), he has also taught at Columbus State University in Georgia and Kingwood College. 

Kevin was honored to receive the 2013 Blinn College Teaching Excellence Award, the 2016 NISOD Excellence Award and the 2024 TxETA Higher Ed Educator of the Year.  At the State level, he served as co-Chair of the Drama Field of Study Advisory Committee and the Drama Learning Outcomes Project with the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board which introduced Script Analysis and Theatre Design courses to the Texas Academic Course Guide Manual.

Kevin developed and leads the Performing Arts Series at the O’Donnell, which brings four national and international touring artists to a rural audience and affords theatre students opportunities to experience another aspect of the live entertainment industry.   Blinn College students are the carpenters, electricians, dressers, spot operators, and light board operators, working closely alongside industry professionals.

Kevin believes in a broad theatre education that encompasses performance, production, and management. In support of this philosophy, he occasionally returns to the stage itself, as part of an annual faculty showcase production. He has played Mark Rothko in John Logan’s Red, opposite Brad Nies in Greater Tuna and The Odd Couple, and most recently as Santa Claus in The Day Before Christmas.
