Follow Us:

Good evening, and welcome to the Bishop Dunne Drama Program's 2024 fall production, The Bishop Dunne Revue! We are so excited to have you all with us for our 10-year anniversary show.

Folks, what we have for you tonight is something truly special. A full decade ago, our then-director Mr. Nicholas Brandt arrived to our theater department and revitalized it with a production of a little show called The Revue. Myself and my co-director Mr. Voigt were in 10th and 9th grade respectively when we signed up to audition. What started out as a hobby quickly turned into something much more than that for the both of us. Now, 10 years later, here we are directing our anniversary show.

And what an anniversary it'll be! We've got three of the finest emcees ever to grace this stage hosting, amazing singers and actors performing all manner of songs and scenes, a robust improv team, and a top-notch design team and crew. On top of that, we have performances by several faculty members, a few alumni of the program, and special showcases from the Bishop Dunne cheer squad and drill team. This is truly a major celebration of the performing arts at Dunne, and a reminder of how much this show means to everyone here tonight.

The Revue has been a staple of Dunne theater for years and will hopefully continue to be one long after we're gone. We thank you so much for celebrating with us. Here's to the next decade!
