A message from the director...

Hello and welcome to the Bishop Dunne Theatre Program's 2025 Fall production, The Bishop Dunne Revue! I cannot express how excited we are to share this show with you all.

The Revue was started in 2015, when a certain Mr Nicholas Brandt created the Bishop Dunne Drama Club, with the intention of breathing life into the theatre scene at Dunne. It was the first theatrical production put on the stage after the recent remodel of the auditorium. This show was created with the intention of being a way for performers, new and veteran, to come and give performing with the club a try. From there, an annual tradition was born.

What you will see tonight is a variety of acts put together by the very talented students on stage! The Revue is a passion project of acts created by these members, prepared over the past few months for this final product. Students have brought musical numbers, skits, improv, dance, and much more to this stage for your enjoyment tonight. Everything down to the technical elements, such as lighting and sound, was handled by the students and their passion for the stage. Even with me as director guiding them through the process, the production that you watch this evening is ultimately their hard work put on stage.

I cannot express enough just how proud I am of these students and their creativity and dedication that they bring to this club. I may be here to direct, but without their talented selves, I have nothing but an empty stage. I hope that you enjoy the magic they make tonight, because I know I will.

On stage, she experiments with voices, gestures, and silence, turning moments into something that lingers. Off stage, Sofia writes, draws, and enters the poetry zone that captures emotions words can’t hold. She thrives in collaboration, where every rehearsal feels like discovering a secret. Sofia’s dream is to keep exploring the magic of performance and to make audiences feel the world through her eyes.

Marley Tilford

Hey! I’m Marley, a 6th grader at Bishop Dunne with a personality that’s cute, coquettish, and preppy. This is my first year here, and I'm so excited. I love the coquette aesthetic because it lets me express myself through bows, soft colors, smiles, and pretty details. I’m also super into theater, I love performing, and getting to play in the revue is amazing. I love playing Glinda, I think I play her perfectly with our bubbly, dramatic, and Cheerful personality. When I’m decorating my notes, planning an outfit, or practicing lines, I always add my own super sweet and creative touch. I like to keep everything artistic, coquettish, and cute, and I try to bring positive, soft, cute energy wherever I go. Even when I'm not performing, I try to carry a soft, warm energy wherever I go. I love making the people around me feel comfortable, and I enjoy being the friend who brings fun and cute vibes to any situation. Being Marley means loving pretty things. Being Marley means being kind anywhere, everywhere. In the end, I’m just Marley, soft, creative, coquette, and forever shining brightest on my own little stage.
