Isaiah Rothstein (Pompey) is delighted you’re here. He holds a degree in Film/Television Performance from NYCDA. Recent credits include: Film: What Brings Us Together, Quit Deacon Me Around, Private Languages. Stage: As You Like It, SubUrbia, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo & Juliet. Amaya Akosua Adu
Amaya is a senior Theatre and Performance major at SUNY Purchase and has been acting since high school. Not only does she act but she is also a director, set designer and editor. Theatre has given her an avenue to expand her writing and social skills, and take on different roles on stage and behind the scenes. She’d like to thank her family, the THP faculty, her drama teachers at Forest Hills High School, and her mentors and friends at CreateHER NYC and Clubbed Thumb for helping her flourish and find fulfillment in this field. In college, she acted in Til Death Does Its Part in the spring of 2023, the 2024 Spring MainStage ‘Angels in America’, Collective Rage at SUNY Purchase and the 2024 Fall MainStage ‘Orlando’ by Sarah Ruhl.
Therese (Tea) Marie Rigor
Therese (Tea) Marie Rigor (any pronouns) is an actor, writer, director, and anything you want her to be based in NYC. They recently graduated from SUNY Purchase College with a degree in Theatre and Performance with a concentration in Acting. Credits include upcoming Shadowboxing in Blue (Danse Theatre Surreality @ Haven Boxing), His Fifteen Thousand Million Billion Trillion Stepdaughters (Trove @ The Tank), Orlando (SUNY Purchase College), Macbeth (SUNY Purchase), How to Defend Yourself (SUNY Purchase).
Alexander Reed
Alexander grew up in New Zealand where he went to school right up until college. He started acting in his teens and continued all the way through his college years. He is a graduate of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and considers NYC his new beloved home. Alexander is thrilled and honored to be working with such a wonderful team at brooklynONE productions.

Alec Hoxha is a recent graduate of the Theatre and Performance program at SUNY Purchase. He’s an actor, writer, and dramaturg. His recent acting credits include Macbeth (SUNY Purchase) and Angels in America (SUNY Purchase). He can’t wait to help bring Measure for Measure to life at brooklynONE productions!
William Godby
This is Will's NYC debut and he is thrilled step into the theatre scene with this production! Will holds a BA from North Carolina State University and would like to thank his family, friends, and girlfriend for the constant support. Will's favorite past credits include Ragtime (Younger Brother), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Oberon), and Title of Show (Hunter). Enjoy the show!
Harris Singer
Harris Singer (He/Him/His) is a Georgia-born and New York City-based playwright, director, performer, and illustrator. He Co-founded and is the artistic director of The Fool Volk (a performance collective that combines classical rigor with experimental play and believes silliness goes hand in hand with change.). His work embodies a queer absurdist lens, probes artistic forms/structures, mixes mediums (puppetry, dynamic movement, horror, tattoo, performance art, food, etc), and most importantly bursts with whimsy. Harris argues for a theater that utilizes the medium to its fullest: taking advantage of audience participation, scent, the body, tasks, time, etc. Notable Acting: Petya (The Cherry Orchard at Staten Island Shakespearean Theatre Company) Bassianus/Director (Titus Andronicus at La MaMa ETC/The Fool Volk), David (Leave If No Response at The Tank), Polixenes/Shephard/Bear (The Winters Tale at NYU’s Classical studio), Sherita the Dinosaur (C to Kingston Throop at La MaMa ETC).
His play Take Me To Dollywood is set to be presented in the historic La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club’s 2026 season.
Zaria Bunn
Zaria Bunn is a NYC-based actress who is passionate about trust, honesty, and exploration. She holds a B.A from Wellesley College in Theatre Studies with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies and had the pleasure of studying at the British American Drama Academy (BADA) in London, UK. She is a 2025 graduate Circle in the Square Theatre School’s Professional Conservatory.
She is passionate about stories that connect people, provoke thought, and fuel her own creative drive.
When Zaria isn’t on stage, she can be found drinking an iced latte, watching Grey’s Anatomy, starting a new hobby.
Emily Cummings
Emily Cummings is a recent transplant to the NYC theater scene from California and has had a blast working on Measure for Measure. Emily is a graduate of Pomona College with a BA in Theater and Linguistics, and studied with the British American Drama Academy in the fall of 2023. Founded in 2006 by Artistic Director Anthony Marino and the late great Tom Kane, brooklynONE productions (bkONE) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit performing arts and events company based at Industry City in Brooklyn. bkONE is committed to producing bold, original, and inclusive work across theatre, film, music, and mixed media.
bkONE originated the Brooklyn Shakespeare Festival in 2012 in Bay Ridge’s Owl’s Head Park and continued the tradition even through the challenges of COVID-19. Since 2022, the festival has thrived in its new home at Industry City, where bkONE continues to serve as a hub for emerging artists, community connection, and unforgettable cultural experiences.
Phil Catelinet
Phil is usually a violist but is thrilled to be making his debut on bass guitar in the band for Measure for Measure. He is originally from Johnstown, PA, studied music and other subjects at Georgetown University, and participated in several productions with The Mask & Bauble Dramatic Society in his time there. When he is not working on riffs and chord progressions he can be found in the viola section of the New York Repertory Orchestra (www.nyro.org). He would like to thank Jessica and James for including him in the show, and his wife Michael Anne and their cats Prudence and Rosie for their love and support.
Stephen Gracia
Stephen Gracia is a playwright and one of the founders of Dialogue with Three Chords (D3C), a pub theatre night which began its thirteenth season this year and for which he has written over 185 short plays. Stephen records electronic music under the name Rhythm & Detonation and contributed an original score to a revival of Jeffrey M. Jones's Crazy Plays at BRIC Studio. He also writes and records music with D3C co-founder Michael LoPorto as The Sellout Jackets. He wrote the short film “Always for the First Time” which won the best Art/Experimental Short Film award at the 2022 Tallahassee film festival.

Anthony Noto is a multimedia professional. His experience spans radio, TV, film and podcasting. Among the publications where his byline has appeared are Global Finance Magazine and Benzinga. His film credits include Kosmonavt (writer, director) and Survived By... (writer). He's a graduate of Rutgers University, with degrees in both journalism and English.
Therina Bella
Cathy-Ann Borges (Therina Bella), is a musician, vocalist, composer, recording artist, writer, performer and educator from Staten Island, NY.
She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Music Technology and Vocal performance from City College Music Conservatory, CUNY and a Bachelor of Science degree in Classical Composition from the College Of Staten Island, CUNY where she graduated with honors in Music. She is a recording artist and composes and performs her original post metal rock music under her moniker, Therina Bella. Her debut album was produced by famed guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (Guns N Roses, Lita Ford). Her original music has been featured in X-Box video game soundtracks and on MTV’s the Real World and Road Rules. Her composition, “Locker Room Talk” was hailed by the New York Times as, “an impressive logistical feat, and an impressive aesthetic one as well, a radical reframing of public nastiness pulsing with the spirit of 1960s protest folk, 1990s Lilith Fair and 2010s D.I.Y. warehouse punk.” She is a playright & actress whose original musical she composed and starred in entitled, “Paracosm”. Her forthcoming guitar driven. feminine rage opus album is due out early 2026.

Nicole has been a proud member of BrooklynONE Productions for over a decade, contributing as an actor, director, and producer. She is delighted to serve as Shakespeare Festival Director this year, bringing Measure for Measure to life alongside a vibrant marketplace celebration. BkONE Will Host The Brooklyn Shakespeare Festival
This summer, brooklynONE productions (bkONE) invites audiences to step into a whirlwind of Shakespearean revelry, local artisan culture, and spontaneous performance at the Brooklyn Shakespeare Festival 2025, held August 8–10 in the scenic Bandshell Courtyard 1/2 of Industry City (220 36th Street, Brooklyn, NY).
The centerpiece of the festival is a bold and playful new production of Measure for Measure, co-directed by Jessica Bathurst and Anthony Noto, with production support from Nicole Ashley Franz. The show features live musical accompaniment by The Haberdashery (James Bathurst, Phil Catelinet, Michael LoPorto), with original compositions by James Bathurst, Stephen Gracia, and Therina Bella. This staging breathes new life into the Bard's tale of morality, power, and justice, infused with humor, musicality, and contemporary relevance.
Adding to the excitement is Thorn & Petal Stick Improv Troupe, bringing Improv Shakespeare to the stage with unscripted hijinks and Elizabethan chaos that only this wild and talented group can deliver.
Alongside the performances, audiences can immerse themselves in a vibrant Marketplace filled with artisan vendors, local makers, and food pop-ups — a true weekend celebration of Brooklyn's creative spirit.

brooklynONE Productions Announces Formation of Board of Trustees to Support Expansion and Future Growth
brooklynONE productions (bkONE), the South Brooklyn-based performing arts and events company known for championing original voices and alternative theatre, has announced the formation of its inaugural Board of Trustees. This significant milestone comes as the company continues to grow its programming and presence at its Industry City venue, the Tom Kane Theatre.
The newly appointed board includes leaders from the nonprofit, arts, and business sectors, each bringing unique experience and passion to the organization’s expanding mission. Members include Camille Loccisano, founder of Frankies Mission and a dedicated community advocate; Nicole Ferguson-Rodriguez, Front of House and Box Office Manager with extensive institutional knowledge of bkONE; Peter DeVincenzo, an early bkONE collaborator and supporter of the arts; Michael LoPorto, director and advisor known for socially conscious theatre with Dialogue with Three Chords; Brendan Rorke, Musical Director and Financial Planner serving as Business Advisor; and Anthony Marino, founder and Artistic Director of bkONE, who continues to lead the organization with vision and heart.
“This board represents the spirit of what brooklynONE stands for — passion, and a commitment to making boundary-pushing art accessible and sustainable,” said Marino. “Together, we're building something larger than any one of us — a home for bold ideas, fearless performances, and inclusive storytelling.”
As bkONE prepares for its 20th anniversary in 2026, the formation of the Board of Trustees marks a new chapter of structural and strategic development. The board will support governance, fundraising, strategic planning, and community outreach as the company continues to grow its footprint within Industry City and beyond.
The Tom Kane Theatre has become a thriving creative hub in Brooklyn, hosting events and partnerships with institutions including NYU's Martin Scorsese Virtual Production Center, AbelCine, Lux Lighting, Meyer2Meyer Entertainment, Apple TV+, AMC Networks, and community-favorite events like The Rocky Horror Picture Show Halloween screening and Kaiju Brooklyn. These collaborations underscore brooklynONE’s role in shaping a vibrant cultural ecosystem in South Brooklyn.

brooklynONE Productions to Host Massive Site-Specific Arts Festival: TOTAL THEATRICAL TAKEOVER at Industry City
On May 24th & 25th from 11am–5pm, brooklynONE Productions is taking over Industry City with a two-day, sprawling, FREE performance festival: the Total Theatrical Takeover. A full-scale artistic invasion, the event transforms courtyards, murals, and hidden corners of Industry City into dynamic performance stages — with over 40 artists and 10+ original pieces being presented throughout the campus.
From puppetry to poetry, live music to live drawing, and comedy to movement-based storytelling, the festival offers something for everyone. It's a spring celebration of art in motion — experimental, immersive, and open to all ages.
"Going back to our roots and creating moments and plays around campus is a dream" says Anthony Marino, Founder & Artistic Director of bkONE “seeing these groups come together, under the leadership of this event coordinator Mitch Richman has been a ton of fun, its going to be a special weekend."
Audiences are encouraged to shop, snack, and stroll through the six activated buildings and courtyards while encountering surprise pop-up performances in unexpected places. With multiple performances scheduled every 20–40 minutes, you can curate your own path through the theatrical garden of delights.
