Meet the Company
Pierce Jones
George Peach
Pierce Jones hopes you enjoy tonight's show. “Super to see all you friends of the theatre.”
Christianne Chase
Mrs. Reece (playing Lady Macduff; Doctor)
CHRISTIANNE CHASE is delighted to be back onstage again as Mrs. Reece, whom she describes as “Not bossy—just aggressively helpful.” She has thoroughly enjoyed working under the direction of Janet Jones and with this talented and delightful cast and crew! Part of the OG (Old Guard or Original Gaslight), Christianne has appeared in more shows than she can count. A few stand-out roles have included M’Lynn in “Steel Magnolias”, Kate in “All My Sons”, Sister Aloyisius in “Doubt”, and Lady Bracknell in “The Importance of Being Ernest”. Directing highlights include musicals “The Music Man”, South Pacific”, “Fiddler On the Roof”, “Young Frankenstein” and “Mamma Mia!”, dinner theatres “The 39 Steps” and “Murder For Two”, and mainstage productions “Noises Off”, “Picasso at the Lapin Agile”, and last season’s “The Book of Will”. She’s very excited about her upcoming project, directing Kate Hamill’s brilliant adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic novel, Pride and Prejudice which will be performed in January 2025.
Ginny Shipley
Thelma (playing Macbeth; Ross)
Ginny Shipley “I love the Farndale plays. This is my third one and it is, for me, the most challenging. Shakespeare is beautiful but it’s really hard for me to memorize. Thank you Janet for trusting me with the part of Thelma. And thanks Catina for supporting me and running lines with me and thanks Nathan for helping us with tech. I hope everyone enjoys the show!
Brad Estabrooks
Henry (playing Lady Macbeth; 8 Kings)
Brad Estabrooks was last seen as “Danny” in Grease. He has been on stage for the past 30 years but is experiencing his first time doing Shakespeare. He wants to wish a Happy 12th Birthday to his beautiful, talented, and responsible assistant/daughter, Aspen.
Anitajane Garnand
Minnie (playing Banquo; Lady Macduff’s Son)
Anitajane Garnand is ecstatic to make her Shakespeare debut with the Farndale ladies (and Henry). This is her second season with the Gaslight Theatre. She is thankful for the many friendships she has made, and to her family for supporting her love of the theatre.
Mary McDonald
Plummer
Mary McDonald is excited to appear for the third time in a Gaslight production of one of the Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild productions. “Portraying Mrs. Plummer is a delight because after teaching Shakespeare’s Macbeth to high school students for 40 years this is the first time I’ve actually been able to appear in a prediction of the play. Love that iambic pentameter!”
Lori Coleman
Dawn (playing 1st Witch; Porter; 2nd Murderer; Duncan; Fleance)
Lori Coleman has a history with the original Macbeth, having played Banquo in 2022, but hasn't seen anything like this! She was last seen in the Southern version of Taming of the Shrew. She continues to thank her mom, kid, and cat for the continued support.
Katherine Jones
Felicity (playing 2nd Witch; Seyton 1st Murderer; Malcolm; Gentlewoman)
Katherine Jones is a burgeoning writer. She is enjoying the Farndale Ladies’ take on Shakespeare.
Layne Estabrooks
Kate (playing 3rd Witch; Macduff; Messenger)
Layne Estabrooks is happy to be sharing the stage with her husband and daughter. She was last seen as “Sandy” in Grease. She loves books, singing, acting, and her family. Matthew 19:26
