BWW Stage Mag The Game's Afoot - The Guelph Little Theatre Stage Mag

About Guelph Little Theatre

Guelph Little Theatre has presented outstanding amateur theatrical productions to Guelph and surrounding communities for 90 years. Starting with a simple play reading group that met monthly, GLT’s first production, Yellow Sands, was staged in November 1935 by an enthusiastic 300-member group who loved live theatre.

Now, 90 years later, GLT is still going strong thanks to its incredibly passionate and dedicated volunteers. To get involved please visit guelphlittletheatre.com

Great people make big things happen at Guelph Little Theatre.

Board Message

Welcome to the 1st production of Guelph Little Theatre's 90th anniversary season! We are thrilled to present a lineup filled with comedy, mystery, and drama that we believe will captivate and entertain our audiences.

Our productions and the day-to-day operations of the theatre would not be possible without the dedication of our incredible volunteers. To those who devote countless hours of their time and energy out of a love for GLT, we extend our deepest gratitude.

We hope you thoroughly enjoy the performance. Now, let's raise the curtain and begin the show.

Director's Note

I have always loved reading plays by Ken Ludwig and when I found The Games Afoot, I absolutely fell in love with the mystery of the story and how he puts together a piece that is compelling and interesting. This play has really interesting characters that all get the chance to show off, whether as an actor, a critic, or a murderer. I also love the fact that you might have the story figured out in the first 30 minutes when in fact, it twists and turns and presents new stories throughout. I enjoy this show so much, that it is the second time I have directed it.

I want to thank Guelph Little Theatre for allowing me to present this show to you. This is my first show with GLT and I hope to be involved in many more. Thank you for coming to see our little show and I hope you enjoy the chaos we have created.
