Lee Grinonneau

Charlie Cowell/Salesman
Lee is a novice to the theater as this is only his second appearance on stage. Both stage forays have been with the Epiphany Players, as he appeared last year in Guys and Dolls playing the role of Lt. Brannigan. Lee is a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church. Lee’s day job is a physical therapist and has enjoyed all of the camaraderie with the wonderful cast/crew and working his “brain muscles” in this funny and warm comedy. Lee would like to thank his wife, family, and friends for all of their support. Enjoy the show!

Patrick Boyer

Harold Hill
Patrick is beyond excited to be playing Harold Hill in this terrific production of "The Music Man." This is one of his favorite musicals, and having the chance to work with Amy, Ann, and Jenny (is it 2006 again?!) was a fantastic experience! This is Patrick's first show with The Epiphany Players, but he has been involved with many other theater groups in the Toledo area. Some of his favorite past roles include, Billy Flynn in "Chicago," Shakespeare in "Something Rotten," Arthur Kipps in "The Woman in Black," Sir Robin in "Spamalot," Garry in "Noises Off," Richard Hanay in "The 39 Steps," and Igor and Frederick Frankenstein in different productions of "Young Frankenstein." Patrick would like to thank his wonderful family for all of their love and support. He would also like to congratulate the cast and crew on a great show! Enjoy your time in River City, and stay away from that billiard parlor, or there'll be TROUBLE!!

Rob Gentry

Mayor Shinn
Rob is excited to be making his debut performance with Epiphany Players, but he is no stranger to theatre. Rob recently retired from Perrysburg High School where he was the Director of Theatre for the past 35 years. He is thrilled to get a chance to perform on the stage again! Previously he has performed at the Toledo Rep and the Village Players. He last appeared in Oregon Community Theatre’s Noises Off. Rob is keeping busy in retirement. He works with the UT Medical School as a standardized patient. He also works with Hospice of Northwest Ohio as an actor in their Vital Talks training. Rob would like to thank his wife Michelle and son Jack for all their love and support!

Dave Driver

Ewart Dunlop
Dave has been involved in theater for many years, both on stage and behind the scenes. In the past few years, he has performed in "A Christmas Carol" with the Toledo Rep, and has played Coach Dunbar in “Footloose”, Mr. Brownlow in “Oliver!”, the Butler and Dan in “Joseph” and the Grinch and Vlad the eagle in “Seussical”. Dave loves the group assembled to do this show, many of whom he has been in shows with before. He would like to thank his wife Bonnie for all the love and support in his theatrical endeavors. When not at the theater, Dave is a computer consultant and amateur astronomy enthusiast, and plays guitar for the contemporary worship service at Epiphany. And last but not least, he is a Grandpa to Benny and Laila!

Joel is thrilled to be performing again with Epiphany Players! Last year they joined the group as Nathan in Guys and Dolls, but more recently they have been performing in the chorus for the Toledo Opera. Shout out to all the staff and crew for all the hard work they put into making this show amazing!

Christina returns to the Epiphany stage for the third time. The most recent time she played Nicely Nicely Johnson in Guys and Dolls. Other roles she had portrayed are Old Lady/Blair Daniels in Sunday in the Park with George, Dolly in Hello Dolly, The Witch in Into the Woods, Mae Peterson in Bye Bye Birdie, and Nancy in Oliver.

Jon Hunt

Olin Britt/Salesman
Jon is an intervention specialist for primary school children who has spent the past couple of years rediscovering a love of theater after taking many decades off to rest. He’s been in several shows at the Toledo Repertoire and last joined Epiphany Players as Harry the Horse in Guys and Dolls. He’d like to thank his real family for allowing his absences, and his ever growing theater family for all the fun he’s had recently.

Kevin O'Korn

Marcellus Washburn/Salesman
The Music Man is Kevin’s second show with Epiphany Players. He was most recently seen as Benny Southstreet in last year’s production of Guys and Dolls. He appeared as Mr. Maraczek in Waterville Playshop’s production of She Loves Me. He also was an ensemble member in The Rep’s productions of In the Heights and Something Rotten. His first role was Lt. Rooney in Arsenic and Old Lace at Oregon Community Theatre in 2020. Kevin wants to thank his wife, Laura and son, Dominic and all of his family and friends for their love and support. Kamron Girardot

This will be Kamron’s 26th show he has been in and his 2nd production of Music Man. He has worked with many theatres in the area. Some of his past roles include Prince Christopher (Cinderella - Oregon Community Theatre), Rich (Be More Chill - Stone Productions), and Scott (The Evil Dead - Stone Productions). He hopes you enjoy your trip to River City!

Alexandria Hanhold

Alexandria is delighted to be making her debut with Epiphany Players! Alex is a recent graduate from The Ohio State University where she received her DMA in Vocal Performance. Currently, she is serving as Adjunct Professor of Voice at The University of Toledo where she teaches voice and lyric diction. Alex also maintains a private voice studio and is an active performer and music director. Recent credits include Yvonne/Harriet Pawling in Sunday in the Park with George (Toledo Repertoire), Johanna in Sweeney Todd (Perrysburg Musical Theatre), Carla Silverton in Sweets By Kate (Ohio State), and Maguelonne in Cendrillon (Ohio State). Alex wants to thank Amy, Jenny, and Ashley for the opportunity to play one of her dream roles! Enjoy the show!

Lisa Kay Meyers

Mrs. Paroo
Lisa obtained her BA in music from BGSU, has directed church choirs most of her life, and was accompanist and/or Music Director for at least 8 area HS musicals. Her favorite work is using her knack for coaching students to win leading roles and scholarships at their auditions. This is her first performance in the Toledo theatre scene and her first since "Guys and Dolls" in 1993 with the Fort Defiance Players. She's played leading roles in several of their productions along with The Maumee Valley Civic Theatre and her alma maters, Ayersville HS and Bowling Green State University. She thanks Pastor Scott and her fellow flock (including her mom) at Good Shepherd LCMS on Laskey, for lifting her up in prayer and so many other ways.

Paige Burgess

Paige is thrilled to be returning to the Epiphany stage following her debut as Jane Banks in Mary Poppins last November. Other recent leads include Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family at St. John Jesuit and Flounder in The Little Mermaid at the Toledo Met. Paige would like to thank her vocal coach Liz Baldwin, her flute instructor Robin Smithberger, and all of her wonderfully talented castmates for their guidance and support.

Levi Scholl

Levi is very excited to be a part of his first Epiphany Players performance in Music Man. Levi is a current 5th grader at Shoreland Elementary and enjoys working with Liz Baldwin Studios to improve his voice and acting skills. In his spare time he likes gaming with friends and also plays in a spring soccer league. Levi has been in other roles such as Dad in Junie B. Jones the Musical, The Candy Man in Charlie And The Chocolate factory, and Theo in Pippin.

Rhianon Barlos

Eulalie Mackecknie Shinn
Rhianon is overjoyed to grace the stage for her debut with Epiphany Players, a moment she cherishes deeply. Beyond the footlights, Rhianon channels her passion for education as a dedicated third-grade teacher with Maumee City Schools, and she serves as the choreographer at Rossford High School. Despite a brief hiatus to focus on her growing family, Rhianon has performed in over 30 productions across Northwest Ohio. Among her cherished roles are: Gertrude McFuzz (Seussical), Ursula (Disney's The Little Mermaid), Erma (Anything Goes), and The Baker's Wife (Into the Woods). Rhianon extends heartfelt gratitude to her amazing husband, Michael, whose unwavering support and encouragement have fueled her return to the stage, and to her adorable son, Archer, her steadfast source of inspiration and cheer.

Rebecca Lanham

Rebecca is thrilled to be in another Epiphany Players production. Some of her past Epiphany credits include Mary Poppins Jr. (Miss Andrew), Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella (Cinderella), and The Lion King Jr. (Scar). A few of her credits from other companies include Chaplin, the Musical (Hedda Hopper), Crazy for You (Polly Baker), and Into the Woods (Baker's Wife). She would like to thank the cast and crew for all of their hard work and dedication. She would also like to thank her mom for doing this show with her.

Giuliana Kozak

Gracie Shinn
Giuliana is very happy to be cast in The Music Man. This is her sixth show and her fourth at Epiphany. Giuliana is in fourth graduate Maumee Valley Country Day School. She is interested in skiing and anything music related. Giuliana has also been in Cinderella Jr, Annie Jr, James and the Giant Peach and most recently Mary Poppins Jr. She has attended theatre camps and Epiphany’s Camp Create to learn more about acting, dancing and singing.

Robin Smithberger

Robin has appeared in Epiphany Player’s “Guys & Dolls” as a Mission Doll, Sister Margaretta in “The Sound of Music” and a daughter in “Pirates of Penzance”. Favorite roles include: Cobweb in UT’s production of “ A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, 2nd lady in “Dido & Aeneas” and Praskovia in the operetta, “The Merry Widow”.She studied musical theater at Otterbein and has a BME degree from Angelo State University. She is a music teacher at Saint Joseph-Sylvania Parish School and is married to Pastor Steve Smithberger. "Special shout-out to my talented student, Paige Burgess, who I get to see flourish on the stage! Love & thanks to this beautiful cast! Enjoy!"

Barb Smith

Maud Dunlop
Barb is the elementary music teacher at Toledo Christian Schools and choir director at Elliston Zion United Methodist church. Over the years, she has been involved in the area community theaters as a cast member, music director, and director. Favorite roles have included Hodel and Golde in Fiddler on the Roof, Nettie Fowler in Carousel, Madame Ernestine von Liebedich in Little Mary Sunshine, and Sister Berthe in Sound of Music. Barb has been happily married for 30 years to her best friend, Ron. They have two wonderful daughters, Natalie and Nicole. Her family has also hosted many international students over the years from South Korea and China. Barb enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and cooking. She would like to thank her family and the Epiphany Players for allowing her to be a part of this amazing production with both of her daughters.

Carolyn Cupp

Ethel Toffelmier
Carolyn is thrilled to be back on the Epiphany Stage, this time as Ethel Toffelmier! You may have seen her in several shows throughout Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan and you last saw her on the Epiphany stage with Guys and Dolls as Miss Adelaide. Favorite other roles include: Cinderella, Into the Woods (Bedford Community Players), Princess Badroulbadour, Disenchanted (Perrysburg Musical Theatre), TV Presenter, Chess (Toledo Repertoire Theatre), and playing one of Ariel’s sisters in productions of The Little Mermaid (3B Productions and Oregon Community Theatre). Thankful for the support of my family for all the rehearsals!

Robin McConnell

Robin retired last spring after teaching 35 years at Clay High School. She is very excited to be in her favorite musical! Her most recent stage experiences were in Cinderella for OCT last fall, and A Christmas Carol at the Toledo Rep in 2017. She has a wonderful husband named Bill, who is very patient about making his own dinners. She also has three adult children and three adorable grandsons. She enjoys dominating trivia competitions and collecting Monkees memorabilia (seriously!). Thanks to the directors for taking a chance on me! This one is for Dad.

Joshua McCutchen

Joshua is thrilled to be in his 6th show as Constable Locke! In the past, he has played Sky Masterson, Jafar, and many ensemble roles! In his spare time, he likes to write and compose musicals.

Matthew Caputo

Matthew enjoys being in the Epiphany Players’ The Music Man very much. He has been in three other musicals besides this one; Little Mermaid Jr (Grimsby), and Junie B. Jones (Mr. Scary) at Toledo Met and most recently Lion King Jr (Young Simba) at St. Francis. Matthew studies voice with Elizabeth Baldwin. He also likes drawing, singing and being in musicals. He is in the sixth grade at Christ the King School and very much likes it (sometimes).

Lucy Harbick

Lucy is very excited to be in The Music Man. She has been in other musicals including Peter Pan (Wendy) and Sunday in the Park with George (Louise). Lucy is home schooled and is in sixth grade. Her interests include parkour, voice, art and gymnastics. Shout out to my parents for bringing me to practice and coming to all my shows and love to Ivy and Ema.

Michael McCarty

Michael 10, is excited for his first production with Epiphany. You may have previously seen him onstage in the Young Rep production of Wizard of Oz. Michael is in the fourth grade at Maplewood Elementary. In addition to acting, he enjoys Legos, video games, and skateboarding.

Max Zimmerman

Max is excited to make his musical theatre debut in Epiphany Players’ The Music Man. He is a third grader at Fairfield Elementary School. Max has taken dance at Expressions and preforms in the Spring Recital. His interests include tap dancing, singing and gaming.

Anna Caputo

Teen Ensemble
Anna is excited to make her debut with Epiphany Players in the Music Man. She is currently enrolled as an 8th grader at Christ the King and is an active member of the Student Council and Quiz Bowl Team. She began her performing career as a kindergartener dancing in the Nutcracker and has continued to perform as a ballerina and tap dancer through 7th grade. Over the past three years, Anna has taken a strong interest in voice and musical theater and has since performed in 5 musicals: Little Mermaid Jr. (Ensamble, St. Francis de Sales); Elf Jr. (IElf 2, St. Francis de Sales); Little Mermaid Jr. (Ursula, Toledo Met); Junnie B. Jones Jr. (Lucile, Toledo Met); and Lion King Jr. (Banzai, St. Francis de Sales). In her free time, Anna enjoys singing, dancing, running, reading, traveling, hanging out with friends, and going on long walks with Maye, her dog. Anna would like to thank her parents, vocal coach (Liz Baldwin), Toledo Met, and St. Francis de Sales for providing her with so much encouragement and support.

Abbie Lewis

Abbie is excited for her first musical performance. She plays in the teen chorus. Abbie is also involved in her schools show choir and playing the role of Frau Zeller in the Sound of Music. Abbie would like to thank the cast and crew for putting on such a great show and making her first musical a memorable one.

Ellie is so excited to be in her third show at Epiphany! She has participated in Cinderella and Mary Poppins. Some of her favorite things to do in her free time is spending time with her family and friends. She is happy to show everyone what this amazing cast has worked on these past couple months!

Josiah Alley

Josiah is excited to be in the Epiphany Player’s Music Man. This is his 8th show, and his second with Epiphany. Some of his favorite roles he’s played include Bert in Mary Poppins Jr., the Beast in Beauty and the Beast Jr., and a Sailor in Les Miserables. Josiah is a sophomore in highschool and loves everything theater and music. In his free time he enjoys playing guitar, writing, and rocking out.

Annabelle Bucko

This show is Annabelle's 5th production with Epiphany Players most notably having performed as the Fairy Godmother in Rodgers and Hammerstein's production of Cinderella: Youth Edition. Some of her favorite roles with local theater companies include: Katherine in Newsies, Jr., Jessica Sparkle in How I got that Part, Lady Elizabeth in Prince and the Pauper and Dina/Janet in School House Rocks, Jr. Annabelle is a student at Toledo School for the Arts. She would like to thank everyone who made this show possible.

Evan is very excited to be a part of his first show at Epiphany! Evan has been in one other show and was ensemble in Elf the Musical. Evan enjoys lifting weights and playing soccer. He has been having a blast so far and has made so many new friends. He can't wait for everyone to see this wonderful production of The Music Man!!

Jocelyn is making her debut with Epiphany Players. She’s an 8th grader at Anthony Wayne Junior High and actively involved in the school’s choir and theater programs including Matilda the Musical Junior and The Little Mermaid Junior. She thanks her mom, dad, stepdad, and stepmom for their support and is grateful for her Aunt Ashley’s mentorship while she pursues her passion of musical theater.

Olivia Silveous

Olivia is thrilled to be in her 14th musical and her 11th show at Epiphany. Her favorite roles include a Hotbox doll Guys and Dolls , Brigitta in Sound of Music, and Snyder Newsies Jr. She plays the role of a featured dancer and ensemble. In her free time she enjoys playing the flute and spending time with friends and family. Olivia cannot wait to show everyone this musical that the cast has worked so hard on.

Jocelyn Villagomez

Jocelyn is very excited to be in Epiphany's production of The Music Man! Jocelyn has done 8 other shows and can't wait to be in another! Some of her favorites include the queen in Cinderella Jr, a newsie is Newsies Jr, and a Hot Box Dancer in Guys and Dolls! Her favorite pastimes are singing and spending time with her friends and family. She is very excited to show everyone the amazing production that we have worked so hard on!

Chelsea Pickens

Pick-a-Little Lady
Chelsea is making her third appearance with Epiphany Players. After being away from acting for several years, she has found so much joy being back on stage. She has enjoyed being a Nun(Sound of Music), a hot box girl(Guys and Dolls) and now a pick-a-little lady. She is so grateful for the support of her family and all the wonderful friendships made during this show.

Julia Steingass

Pick-a-Little Lady
Julia has been singing since she was 10 years old and is currently a cantor at Most Blessed Sacrament church. She was very involved in musical theater in high school and college and is excited to join the Music Man cast after a long hiatus from musical theater performing. It’s been a wonderful experience and she is thankful to have made so many new friends.

Valerie Adamski

Ensemble
Valerie is excited to be part of the cast of The Music Man after over a decade away from the stage. While this is her first show with Epiphany Players, she has been in many other productions over the years. Some of her favorite past roles include Sister Berthe in The Sound of Music, Aunt Em in The Wizard of Oz, Ghost of Christmas Present in Scrooge: The Musical, featured ensemble roles in The Mikado and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and many more! Valerie is a teacher at St. John's Jesuit High School, and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Frankie and Eleanor.

Linda Hamann

Ensemble
Linda is glad to be returning to the Epiphany Players stage, where she previously appeared in Fiddler on the Roof, The Sound of Music, and Guys and Dolls. Other past performances include the University of Toledo's production of The Merry Widow and the Toledo Rep's A Christmas Carol. Linda has also been active in the Teutonia Chor for 14 years. In her non-theatrical life, Linda is an independent paralegal.

Dana Lanham

Ensemble
Dana is thrilled to be back on the Epiphany stage and to share this experience with her daughter. Her last production with Epiphany Players was in The Sound of Music (Frau Schmidt). Dana usually enjoys helping behind the scenes with costumes. She would like to thank the creative team for putting together this amazing show. Sandy Kellogg

Ensemble
Sandy is delighted to be back on Epiphany’s stage having produced and directed over thirty musicals and plays with her students. Now she is retired and was able to be Fruma Sarah in “Fiddler”, a nun in Sound of Music and in the Ensemble for Music Man. She spends her off stage time playing for All Saints Lutheran Church, performing with Musica Antigua, and taking care of her three adorable granddaughters. “This is a great group of people to work with and it’s one of my favorite musicals.

Kathy Kress

Ensemble
Kathy Kress was last on the stage in Epiphany’s production of “Fiddler On The Roof”. She is having a ball singing Meredith Willson’s wonderful music with this talented cast and crew. Kathy is recently retired and she and her husband are enjoying their empty nest.

Julianna Olah

Ensemble
Julianna is making her debut in this year's production in the Music Man. Being an elementary music teacher, she has directed many elementary musical programs, and has decided it is time for her to take to the stage. She would like to say thank you to her husband Mike for being supportive. Julianna hopes to continue to appear in future Epiphany shows!

Libby Silveous

Ensemble
Libby is very excited to be a part of The Music Man. This is her third performance with Epiphany Players. She plays the part of a River City Citizen, but perhaps her bigger role is taxi cab driver for much of the teen chorus. She is thankful to her family for their love and support. Libby cant wait to show everyone this amazing show the cast and crew has put together.

Kathy Dennis

Co-Producer
Kathy is the director of music at Epiphany Lutheran Church. She has directed or been in the cast of shows at local community and church theaters for a number of years and is thrilled to be a part of Epiphany's production of The Music Man. Kathy says, “special thanks to Epiphany for their enthusiastic support of the theater ministry. And love to my husband, David, for his love and support of yet another production and my colleague and daughter Jessica for helping with this production and playing keyboard in the pit.”

Steve Detmer

Co-Producer
Steve is thrilled to help bring another wonderful Epiphany production to the stage. Steve's background in theater began with a star turn in his high school production of Finian's Rainbow. In recent years he's moved out of the limelight, coordinating set construction. Steve is a member of Epiphany, where he attends with his wife Michelle, and kids, Sam and Libby.

Amy Spaulding-Heuring

Director
Amy returns to the Epiphany Players after a two year hiatus to direct her 4th production of The Music Man. (Oregon Little Theatre 1987, Clay High School 1997, Black Swamp Players 2019). The previous EP productions she directed were The Sound of Music (2022), Seussical—The Musical (2021), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2019), Into the Woods and Guys and Dolls segments for Rags and Riches (2018), and Fiddler on the Roof (2016). Other notable productions she has directed include: Sunday in the Park with George (Toledo Rep), Noises Off (Oregon Community Theatre), The 39 Steps (OCT), Captain of the Crossing Guards (Valentine Theatre), A Christmas Carol (Toledo Rep 2017), the Young Rep’s A Year with Frog and Toad, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Young Frankenstein, and Marvin’s Room with Madge Levinson (all with the Toledo Rep) She was also the Clay High School drama director and Limelighters’ advisor from 1985-2008 and an arts educator for over 30 years. Amy is the Box Office Manager for the Valentine Theatre, Education Program Coordinator for the Toledo Opera, and on the board for Oregon Community Theatre. She has thoroughly enjoyed returning to the Epiphany Players for this delightful show with such a gifted, wonderful cast and creative team in a supportive, caring community. Jenny Jackson

Music Director
Jenny has directed plays and musicals for various semi-professional and community theatre companies in Ohio, California, and Montana. Jenny has a B.A. in Piano Performance from the Univ. of Toledo and a M.M. in conducting from BGSU. While attending seminary, she was a music teacher at Whitmer HS and Clay HS and Jenny is currently the pastor at Haskins Community Church. Many thanks to the exceptional Music Man cast, crew, musicians and production/directing staff!

Ashley Hill

Choreographer
Ashley would like to thank the Dream Team for including her once more at Epiphany Players. Previous choreography credits on this stage: Seussical; Fiddler on the Roof: CELL (T.H.E. Modern Dance Co.). Ann Sommers

Stage Manager
Ann is pleased to return to Epiphany Players for The Music Man. After many years of working backstage for the Clay High School Limelighters, Ann now gets her backstage adventures in by occasionally Stage Managing all over town. Recent highlights include The 39 Steps at OCT, Irma Vep at the Toledo Rep and Captain of the Crossing Guards (twice) at the Valentine. She also spends time costuming for...mostly anyone who asks. Ann would like to thank the cast & crew for all of their hard work and the laughs. She would also like to thank Amy and Jenny for another wonderful show adventure. Kathy Dowd

Costume Designer
Kathy is participating in her fifteenth show with Epiphany. A few recent Epiphany credits include: The Sound of Music, Cinderella, Guys and Dolls, and Mary Poppins. Kathy has 30 years of experience as a costumer for the Toledo Rep, the Toledo Opera, and the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum. Kathy has her own freelance design business, Heritage Rose Designs. Kathy received her master’s degree in historic clothing design from BGSU. She has been a clothing and textile specialist at the Henry Ford clothing studio, and works with The Rialto Jean Project.

Sarah Hanson

Set Designer
Sarah most recently designed A Streetcar Named Desire at the Toledo Rep and won "1st Place Set Design" and "Excellence in Scenic Model" from the Ohio Community Theatre Association for her design. She has designed locally at Oregon Community Theatre for Noises Off and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. She also designed sets for Young Frankenstein at both Oregon Community Theatre and the Toledo Rep. At the Toledo Rep she designed the Sherlock trilogy, In the Heights, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, and many more. Sarah is excited to return to Epiphany Players after designing Guys & Dolls, Sound of Music, and Fiddler on the Roof. Sarah has her BFA in technical theatre from Boston University. “Special thanks to my family and friends for all their love and support for all of my hobbies and passions.”

Nancy Sasala

Set Artist
Nancy is an Art Educator at Lial Catholic School by day and a Set Painter and artist by night. This is her seventh tour with Epiphany Players, painting Pirates of Penzance, Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and Cinderella, and Mary Poppins. Congratulations to the cast and crew of The Music Man!

Pastor Steve is senior pastor for both Epiphany and All Saints Lutheran Churches. He has been involved with theater for over 30 years now, and has delved into every aspect of productions at one time or another. Steve is married to Robin, and they have three children Daniel, Rachel, and Samuel. Steve would like to thank the congregation for supporting this effort.
