DIRECTORS NOTE
On May 14, 2022, our community suffered unspeakable tragedy. In the aftermath, we had to pull together to heal. United in our desire to show compassion to a grieving community, the producers, cast, crew, and I decided that it just wasn’t a good time to stage The Paradigm Bomb, considering its subject matter. Deep in my heart, I felt that there would come a time to tell this story. Because evil in the world doesn’t just go away. To eradicate it, we have to understand it. To know how it comes to be in the hopes that we can stop it at the source. This is why I’m very proud of the theatre, the cast, and crew to have the courage to address those issues that make us all feel uncomfortable. This is a hard story to tell. It will be a hard story to hear. But the effects on the future could be devastating if we choose to turn a deaf ear to it all.
