DIRECTOR'S NOTE
Ahhh....Honors.....my favorite class! Every year! A class full of students who choose theatre, who want to perform, and who put 100% into it. This year's class is no different. What a rewarding experience it is to watch them experiment with characterization and then succeed in bringing the character to life.
I first found this play last year when my honors class at the time wanted to explore the characters of this show at the end of the year. It was so funny and memorable that when I presented 3 different plays to this years' class to choose from, this play was included. The vote was a landslide too. They chose this play without a second thought as like I said, it's so much fun. We’ve had a blast rehearsing it and I laugh out loud all of the time.
If you like murder mysteries and/or you like The Bachelor TV show and the franchises, you’re gonna love this show. The theme revolves around a reality TV show where young girls vie for the attention of one eligible bachelor. It’s humorous and a bit over the top but definitely a fun experience. It celebrates how much fun we can have laughing at the "situations" we know so well: reality tv, the rose ceremonies, the rivalries, the constant tears, and of course, the constant "No, I'M the best for him." In this world, the stakes get higher (and sillier) with every twist and the contestants are as over the top as the genre they're mocking.
The cast has thrown themselves into this show with total abandonment, embracing the melodrama and the chaos that makes this show sparkle. My hope is that you laugh loudly, grasp dramatically, and maybe even clutch your imaginary rose a little tighter. After all, love is a battlefield...but tonight, it's also a crime scene.
Kellie Olson, DIRECTOR

Ever since that show, she has decided to do all the shows in her eighth grade year and possibly have a future in theater or dance. She is so thankful for Ms. Olson convincing her to do seventh grade honors theater and all Ms. Olson has taught her plus getting to play Natalia and being able to do one last show with all of the awesome 8th graders. She hopes you will enjoy the show and that it is memorable for you just like it is memorable for her.

Kellie's goal is to be just like her as a theatre teacher, full of inspiration and spunk!
So, to her Thespian Babies, she has this message for you that was told to her millions of times by the late Josie Helming: Go on stage, say your words loud, and don't fall off the stage!
