Meet the Company
Logan Sellers
Logan is super excited to be performing with DGS again this summer! He has done 23 shows overall and some past roles in the last few years include Jack Kelly (NEWSIES), Lumiere (BEAUTY & THE BEAST), Aaron Samuels (MEAN GIRLS), and Billy Flynn (CHICAGO). He recently graduated from Kittatinny Regional High School and will be attending Long Island University in the fall to study musical Theater. He would like to thank his family, the DGS production team and DGS community for all of the support and guidance they’ve given to him over the years!
Clayton Doyle
Clayton has been involved with shows at DGS since 2017, and he is thrilled to be returning as Patrick in SPONGEBOB THE MUSICAL! He is currently a student at Marist University, where he is majoring in Political Science and minoring in Theatre. Along with also being in the cast of RENT last month, some of his favorite past roles at DGS include The Emcee in CHICAGO: TEEN EDITION (2024), Davey in NEWSIES (2023), Santa in ELF JR. (2021, 2022, 2023), and Chip in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST(2017), to name a few. He has loved every minute of this production and wishes his fellow castmates the best of luck!
Gabby Diee
This is Gabby’s fifth show with Drama Geeks and eleventh show overall. Past roles include Alice in ALICE IN WONDERLAND, Dotty in NOISES OFF, and Matilda in ALL SHOOK UP.
Andre Moquete
Hi my name is Andre and this is my second show at Drama Geeks! My first show I did at DGS was CHICAGO: TEEN EDITION where I played the role of Amos! My favorite moments in Drama Geeks are getting to spend the summer with all the people I love while making music! Drama Geeks is a place where I can feel comfortable and have a great time and I am thankful for all the time I’ve gotten to spend here.
Sofia Hallak
Until the start of Spongebob, I had only been in four shows, two of which were full-length. My previous shows (& roles) were the Young Kangaroo in SEUSSICAL KIDS, Zazu in THE LION KING KIDS, Ensemble in MATILDA JR, & the White Rabbit in ALICE IN WONDERLAND. Out of all of them, this is my first time playing such a large role, and it's very exciting! Overall, being a part of SPONGEBOB THE MUSICAL has been a very fun experience & I'm so glad I decided to audition. Being on stage is definitely nerve-wracking, but that's what makes it fun. A good way to deal with "stage-fright" is by turning the fear into excitement, & really embodying the character you play, whether it's big or small. I've had a great time working & preforming with the cast, & I'm so thrilled to see what the future holds!
Emily Wallace
My name is Emily Wallace, and I am so excited to play the role of Karen the Computer in SPONGEBOB THE MUSICAL ! I’ve been involved in productions at DGS since 2017, and I always have the best time doing shows here. You might have seen me in the ensemble of RENT these past two weekends — and if not, you may recognize me from some of the other fantastic productions I’ve been lucky to be a part of. I’m so thrilled to share all the hard work we’ve put in over the last few months! Huge thanks to the entire production team for their creativity, support, and guidance throughout this process. To my fellow cast members, break a leg — and to the audience, I hope you enjoy the show!
Maddie DiDomenico
After 6 years and many shows at Drama Geek Studios, a fun and bubbly show like SPONGEBOB THE MUSICAL was the perfect way to end the summer season! I am very grateful to have had an opportunity to be involved with this show not just backstage with costumes, but onstage as well!
Drew Renaldo
Drew is thrilled to return to the stage as the money-loving crustacean Mr. Krabs in THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL! Drew’s past performances include John Truitt (MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS), Edna Turnblad (HAIRSPRAY), Annas (JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR), LeFou (BEAUTY & THE BEAST), Jacob Marley (A CHRISTMAS CAROL), Lt. Kendrick (A FEW GOOD MEN), and Featured Ensemble (RENT). In addition to acting, Drew has also written and directed a memorable production of ALICE IN WONDERLAND, performed here at The Historic Crescent Theater this past May. Drew dedicates this performance to two of the most influential people in his life: his late uncle Barry, a passionate lover of theater and music, and his late father Robert, whose memory continues to inspire him every single day.
Noah Renaldo
Since debuting as Seagull #1 in his middle school’s production of THE LITTLE MERMAID JR., Noah has been hooked on performing and hasn’t looked back. THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL marks his 20th production in just four years! Favorite past roles include Moose (EVIL DEAD), Turkey Boy (A CHRISTMAS CAROL), IQ (HAIRSPRAY), Fletcher (FREAKY FRIDAY JR), Lord Farquaad (SHREK JR.), and Jack Kelly (NEWSIES JR.). Noah plays the trumpet, is a self-taught guitarist, and is a much better dancer than he gives himself credit for. He thanks you for supporting this show and the arts in our community.
Niko Thornton
I have been doing shows for almost 4 years now. I have done a couple shows but some of my favorites were ELF JR., THE LION KING, NEWSIES, and A CHRISTMAS CAROL. One of my favorites scene in the show would probably be the end of No Control because Patrick keeps screaming after everyone else stops.
Steve Johnson
So many fun roles...Pirate, Father, Rock Star, Headless Body, Hooker. Had a blast in every role. Had the opportunity to dabble in special effects. Blood cannons!!! Words of advice...Don't worry about screwing up. The audience has no clue. They will judge us on the entire production, not on a few missteps or forgotten lines. Just do your best no matter how big or small your part is!!! Have fun!!!
Macy O'Shea
Les - NEWSIES, Matilda - MATILDA, the Mad Hatter - ALICE IN WONDERLAND, Lavender - MATILDA JR, Scar - THE LION KING KIDS, Genie - ALADDIN KIDS. My favorite moment has been getting to make fun of Sofia's (Plankton's) height in the show, even though she is taller than me by a couple inches! Another favorite moment is getting to be a dance captain and a featured dancer in many awesome songs.
Elijah Furey
Be the best person you can be and don’t let anyone talk you out of doing what you love
Dan Reed
Very happy to be performing with you all!!!
Kristin Polster
This is my acting debut. Being a musician, I have performed onstage throughout my life, but never acted. As you age, don't let that number or birth year deter you from learning new things. I learned to ride a motorcycle at nearly age 40, became a drummer at 50 and an actor at 51. Never stop dreaming and reaching for the stars!
Adelyn Renaldo
Addie began her performing arts journey as Buttons in DGS’s production of NEWSIES—and she hasn’t looked back since! She’s since taken on her dream role of Chip in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, as well as memorable characters like Lavender and Amanda Thripp in MATILDA, the Thrilla Caterpilla in ALICE IN WONDERLAND: AN ORIGINAL ADAPTATION, Tiny Tim in A CHRISTMAS CAROL, and a Deadite Baby in EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL. Addie has also been featured in the ensemble of shows including ELF THE MUSICAL JR., HAIRSPRAY, and JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. She loves to dance and sing, and is currently working on a stage play, which she hopes to debut right here at The Historic Crescent Theater. She’s thrilled to bring Gary to life—Meow!
Jamie LeMelledo
I started doing shows at a very young age. As an adult I gave it up not realizing how much I truly loved performing. I decided about 2 years ago to go back and that's when I found this amazing, cute little theatre who welcomed me with open arms. You are never too old to stop believing in yourself and living your dreams! Anything is possible when you have God on your side!
Cainaan DiDomenico
Cainaan returns to the stage in THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL, where he takes on the role of Electric Skate #3. His previous credits include Joey Primo (ROCK OF AGES), Duane (HAIRSPRAY), Ash’s Hand (EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL), and John (JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR). Cainaan has also appeared in shadow cast productions of THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW—portraying Brad, Eddie, and Dr. Scott in various performances—and REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA as The Grave Robber.
Josh Reed
The Voice from Above! Josh, the owner and creative director of both Drama Geek Studios and The Historic Crescent Theater lends his pipes to the cast of THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL as the French Narrator. You last saw him on the stage in July's production of RENT where he played "The Man." You can see Josh next as Good Ol' Reliable Jake in EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL coming this October!
Kevin W. Casey
I’ve always liked SpongeBob. He’s a funny character. And it’s a good show for any age.
- Kevin is a recent CCM graduate with a degree in Musical Theater. He has been in a number of shows with Drama Geeks in the past including THE LITTLE MERMAID, HAIRSPRAY, and JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR.
Olivia Clark
Favorite moments are epically when we are acting out the blocking and finally seeing what the show is going to look like!
Caiden Herbison
This is Caiden's second show with Drama Geek Studios and his third overall. Other roles include The Five of Hearts in ALICE IN WONDERLAND and Prince Hasim in ALADDIN: KIDS. Caiden has participated in five talent shows at McKeown School and Hampton Day winning 2nd and 3rd.
Madison Herbison
Madison previously appeared on the Crescent Theater stage as The Mock Turtle in ALICE IN WONDERLAND. She also appeared in school productions of MATILDA JR., THE LION KING KIDS, and ALADDIN: KIDS. “Is mayonnaise an instrument?” -Patrick Star; “Another day, another migraine.” -Squidward Tentacles
Brian Rauchbach
Hello all! I’m currently studying at Montclair State University, getting my BFA in Theatre: Design, Technology, & Management. Previous roles I’ve played included Bobby Pepper in CURTAINS, Kevin G in MEAN GIRLS, Mary Sunshine in CHICAGO, Benny in RENT and so many more. I’m excited to share the stage with this amazing cast and company for the third year!
Victoria Torres
I have been in two past shows my first one being FROZEN JR., and my second show being THE ADDAMS FAMILY JR.!
Sam Garcia
Sam has been involved with Drama Geek Studios for 10 years and continues his artistic journey with the company. He has music directed 6 shows at The Crescent Theater, including this iteration of Spongebob. Sam would like to thank his amazing cast for working hard as well as his dedicated colleagues on the Production Team!
Kaylee Babiak
Kaylee is so excited to be back at DGS! She has done over 40 shows with this company since she was 12, and is so grateful for the community and family she has here. She has played other roles such as Katherine Plumber, Roxie Hart, Amber VonTussle, and Clopin Trouillefou at DGS in recent years! She is currently a student at Marymount Manhattan College double majoring in Musical Theater and Psychology. She encourages anyone in the audience who is interested or curious about theater to reach out and join our family, it has changed her life and knows it can do the same for so many others! She hopes you enjoy the show, and can feel the beautiful love and light that this incredible cast is spreading during such hard times. She encourages everyone watching— Show up for yourself and your life with the same love, enthusiasm, and acceptance that these beautiful characters and actors have, it will make our world go round!
Kayla D'Angelo
Favorite roles include Mary Magdalene in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, Annie Knowby in EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL, but the most important role I have ever undertaken is the role of mom. Enjoy the show and please continue to support Drama Geeks and The Historic Crescent Theater!
Kelly Renaldo
Kelly lucked into her role as Stage Manager / Stage Mom here at DGS; after all her whole family is here! Although she's been involved behind the scenes in every show since 2024's ROCK OF AGES, Kelly has only been on stage once as an ensemble member in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. Kelly takes care of everyone in the cast and crew and supports all of their crazy dreams! She loves every second she gets to spend here, whether backstage or in the booth!
Kathy Reed
Kathy is not only the Front of House manager but is also an integral part of the inner workings of Drama Geeks and the Crescent Theater.
